For a second consecutive year, we had, my spouse and I, a very pleasant stay at "Le Grand Lodge Mont-Tremblant" last week. As usual ,the activities were very interesting. Besides the hotel, we really like this region ! However, two negative points are to be noted: -First: the first room assigned to us was not very clean. We found food scraps under the bed! -Second: despite the clearly stated ban of animals on the beach, some people have ignored these instructions and brought dogs into water, while people were bathing!

We just got back last week from the beautiful Grand Lodge! It is our 6th time there in the last 5 yrs and we splurged and stayed a whole week this time! It was with my husband and son who is 11! We were up high in their top condo which is so spacious and the view of the lake is incredible! The weather was amazing and we were at the lake swimming and using the kayaks, paddle boat and paddle board daily! It was great to have the outdoor bistro open for drinks, snacks snd lunch! All of the amazing staff work so hard during COVID to still make sure it’s safe and fun! We also had breakfast and most dinners there and everything was delicious! We enjoyed the walks, tennis courts and the indoor pool. It starts from the top and Micheal the manager is so kind and professional , as well as Cedrick, Catherine, Joanne, Stephanie, Martine, Yves, Patricia, Sylvia, Chris and so many other! ( I’m sorry that I can’t name everyone but all so kind) My son asked if we could come again for a week next year and we definitely will! Joanne

The suite was a great fit for a short trip with 2 teenagers, and I'd imagine would work well with younger kids as well. The view of the lake was spectacular, the kitchenette had decent cookware (although I had to ask for a sponge - which was brought to our room promptly) & dishes, the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms, both of them being interior, could use some retiling/grouting, as the ventilation for them is poor (although having two bathrooms w/shower in one suite was fantastic for a family!) and they look a bit dated. The breakfast buffet was ample in terms of all-you-can-eat, but a bit pricey for the limited choices of options. However, the lake made up for everything, with free paddle boats & kayaks, and a small, clean, sandy beach! Evening bonfire was a nice touch, and there were a few activities on offer such as exercise classes outside in the early evening. A free public bus gets you to Mt. Tremblant village in about 15 minutes, and that opens up even more options for outside activities as well as food/shopping if that's what you want. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely go back again.

We have stayed here previously but this time we were very surprised by some of the changes. Beds were upgraded which made a huge difference. Staff are accommodating. Beachfront is very nice and it’s really easy to take on Kayaks etc. All in all a very pleasant stay. Definitely recommend it.

This was our 3rd time staying here; however we haven’t been in 3 years. We used to love this place. The food has always been expensive, but used to be delicious. The food is still expensive but now it’s terrible. Our lakeside group level room was expensive which was fine , but the room was run down so this made it not ok. Bathroom lights flickered, tiles in shower were grimy, no toiletries given, toilet ran all night leaking a small puddle of water on the floor. Food: We were told room service starts at 4pm. We call but no one was answering, and so we went to the Whiskey bar to see if we could find out more. We asked a worker who we saw do you know when food service will start? She rudely replied (in an aggressive tone) I don’t know, it could be 415, 430, 5….I don’t know it all depends on when they decide to work……times are tough! My 12 year old and 2 year old asked me why the woman was so angry with us. We went back to our room after asking someone at the front desk about food (she was also dismissive with us). We finally got through to room service and ordered. I sent an email to the hotel describing our experience with their workers. The manager called us, and apologized, and have us 50% off our meal. Good thing he did as the food was disgusting (and we are not picky people). Food was cold, cheese tasted like it was sour, nacho sauce tasted like cleaner product. We chalked up the whole experience to maybe being a one off…and decided to give the once amazing breakfast buffet a chance. The price of the buffet was the same as before, with 1/4 of the choices. The potatoes were cold, scrambled eggs were like boxed eggs, sausages seemed like they had been warmed up and not fresh. The “assorted pastries and cheese” that were advertised were a joke. Two small pieces of cheese as a choice, 3 mini croissant type “pastries”. The food wasn’t worth more than 8.00. For 2 adults, one child, and one free child it came up to over 70.00 (because of the taxes and 15% mandatory gratuity charge). We will not be back. We still have one more day here…and I’m wondering if we should leave early.
