My wife Trudy and I stayed at the Auberge du coq, and from the time we entered, we felt at home. Nino and Kay are truly wonderful people who have great stories to tell. We always got a good laugh after the punchline at the end :) Trudy worked the restaurant at the Auberge 30 years ago, and she said...

This Inn is simple, rustic, clean, warm hosts and lovely guests. Located on a lake be sure to get a table with a view. It's walking distance into the old village where you'll find a skating ring, grocery store and pub. The room comes with soap shower gel a fridge and microwave. Kay is an amazing chef! Best tortellini in...

Stayed here for one night on my birthday. Nino and Kay are lovely people and could have spent hours chatting to Nino. So interesting. The auberge is clean, basic and comfortable. The views and location absolutely outstanding

We were in Mont tremblant for a vintage car race and stumbled upon this gem only a km from the track. Kay and Nino are the best hosts I have ever encountered. Full of stories and it is clear that this inn is their home.....The Italian food is superb and the deck looking over the small lake a revelation. The...

We had dinner here last week. The Italian food was very very good and the lakeside view with the rising moon was stunning. Also had great conversation with Nino. We visited here 6 years ago and it was just as good now as it was then. Would come back again if we are in the area.

We had a great stay at Auberge du Coq de Montagne. The B&B is slightly old fashioned but don't let this put you off, it's very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The breakfast is lovely every morning (the pancakes were super!) Nino and Kay were amazing hosts - offering advice on local activities and generally interesting to chat to. We enjoyed...

I stayed there from July 11 to 17. We've been lucky to rent a room there at the last minute my sister and me due to a cancellation. The room was big, clean and furnished with a fridge and microwave oven, a good TV with the cable and free wifi. There's a private beach and the water of the lake...

If you agree to stay in a family run quintessentially Italian albergo (Inn) on the mountain lake shore with the only private beach in the area; swim in officially drinkable waters; have homemade hot breakfast and real Italian fare for dinner, comparable only to available in Italy (seriously, no exaggeration here); to be in walking distance to biking and hiking...

The owners are the wonderful, Kay is the best cook ever! Nino is the greatest "conversation" you ever had! All of that are more important then the great rooms, however rooms are clean and comfortable and serve the purpose to sleep there.

The Auberge is a hidden gem, for several reasons. The most important , owners Nino and Kay , two of the most caring people you ever want to meet. They always make sure everything is what you want and what you need. By the way , if it is the Ritz you are looking for , well sorry this is...
