It was an excellent, all too short stay at this hotel at the foot of the mountain in Mont-Tremblant. Breakfasts are included in the room price and are complete. We can go down the mountain with our skis to the hotel. There is underground parking included in the price of this room which is a small one bedroom apartment with balcony. We highly recommend this hotel in Mont-Tremblant.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. A few steps away from the lift to go to base. The restaurants and shops are steps away. The suite was ok. It had a kitchen with some basics so you can cook meals instead of eating out which can get very pricey. The sofa bed was not bad at all. The supposed double beds were more like queen size. The bedroom was a little dark though. The suite could use some heavy thorough cleaning and renovation. The sofa and seats were quite clean though. Looks like they were replaced recently. Bathroom was dated and needed a renovation. But everything was working. Breakfast was included which was great. 1 less thing to worry about. They had veggie options, eggs, sausage, cereals, pastries. Fair amount of options. We went just before holiday season started so not too busy. Overall good value for that time. But I wouldn't pay what they are charging during high season.

Faultless! Stayed here as a solo traveller from the UK, skiing for the week. The beds are very comfortable, buffet breakfasts every morning were perfect to set me up for the day, the rooms are very quiet and clean, and the location is less than a 5 minute walk to the lifts.
The staff are so friendly, and helpful. On my last day, my taxi didn’t arrive, and the reception staff Kevin & Dominique could not do enough to help me. Even the GM attempted to personally drive me to the airport on time! I would not consider any other hotel in Tremblant after the service I have experienced here this week. An absolute gem of a hotel, and a place Marriott should be proud of!

We will not book this hotel again because I think there is better value for money in the other hotels in the Mont-Tremblant pedestrian village.

Good points :
- The location of the hotel is wonderful.
- The cleanliness of the hotel
- The place for the included breakfast is nice
- the swimming pool is a little warm with lifeguard and spa is good.
- The size of the one bedroom suite is perfect. There is a balcony, it's great
- the fully equipped kitchen (oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave) is very useful.
- BBQ available to customers near the swimming pool
- the staff is courteous

Negative points
- One elevator out of 2 was working
- one spa in 2 was working
- the quality of the lunch buffet is very average, the food is dry and it's the same thing every day.
- The beds are uncomfortable and the sofa bed is very very uncomfortable and damaged (several tears)
- The blankets are uncomfortable
- the shower jet is very very strong, it is very unpleasant for adults and children
- the toilet is very uncomfortable because of the sink which overhangs the toilet, so it is impossible to sit upright.
- the soundproofing is very average

Our suite was 227, we did not recommend it, it is on the second floor, no view but there is a balcony.

To finish, we stayed 4 nights, what irritated me the most was the discomfort of the beds and the sofa bed, the discomfort on the toilet and in the shower and the fact that the bacon, potatoes and Other breakfast foods were not very good as very dry. Everything should be improved in order to offer better value for money to customers.

THANKS

I'd picked this hotel for a birthday celebration weekend that we booked for five families, thinking that with a Marriott at that price point (~300/night) we'd be fine.

First off, staff was friendly and overall very helpful.

But be forewarned: The experience with the rooms was... not good.

They are VERY dated and worn, and there are only wood blinds -- no blackout curtains to keep out the light.

There was mold on the shower (room 232), a musty smell in the bathroom, a (weirdly low) toilet that didn't flush unless you held the handle, and dirty, peeling and chipped paint everywhere.

And the noise! The A/C rattled so loud that we had to turn it off overnight to get any sleep. The rooms are configured so that every 2 rooms shared a first "entrance" door off the hallway, and then a separate door for each room. The noise that these doors make when opening and closing startled us awake constantly.

The bedding was clean though, and the beds were quite comfortable.

The morning breakfast offers hot and cold items, and it's included. But the quality could be vastly improved.

The room was a standard two bed room, with a small kitchenette, everything worked, we had to turn off the heating as the room was too warm for us.

Pthe underground parking is very tight but its there and included.

Breakfast is included, a good selection of foods hot ( warm actually) and cold, but it was bery ordinary, croissants should be light and fluffy, not mass bought croissant shaped blobs of bread.

For the skiiers

It was a comfortable stay, we skiied for three weeks and this mountain was by far the most expensive, lift tickets worked out to be just over $150 CA per day, a 3% entertainment tax for puting on events and the like!!! How about charging that when they are on, nothing on when im there…. Thats a rippoff in my books.

Bonjour Antinmelb, We thank you for thaking the time to share your comments on this plateform. Your comments were shared with the manager of each department to improve the service we offer. Thank you for sharing your comments, it is how we are able to improve each and every day ! Unfortunately, we have no control on the ski lift tickets, as they are sold by mont-Tremblant directly. You may want to share this comment with the station instead of the hotel. We hope to see you for a futur stay ! Residence inn by Marriott Mont-Tremblant

Buyer beware, they will charge you if you leave a day early including parking. The hotel is in need of updates. The couch in the room is all beat up, the bed is very soft and uncomfortable. The bedroom door only open’s half way as they put a piece of furniture behind it, so you bang into it a lot to go around it. Also the gym is a joke—it has 1 bike, 1 treadmill and 1 elliptical in a very small space. The breakfast is the exact same everyday. This is one of the worst residence inn’s I have stayed in. It is a great location, but so are the other hotels around it. Personally I wouldn’t recommend this one.

Dear Anneismountains, We are sorry to hear your last visit was not up to your expectation. As mentioned over the phone, our policy is clear. When you made the reservation for our hotel for the thanksgiving weekend, you had 7 days prior to arrival to cancel or modify your reservation. If you decide to leave a day early, unfortunately we do still charge for the night. Breakfast is the same in all Residence Inn we have to follow the standard provided by Marriott. thank you for your comments we have them followed to our team

Stayed here for one week in July 2020, after the resort reopened with new COVID safety protocols. We were hesitant to book a vacation at first, but decided we all need some fresh air, and could always drive home early if the protocols were not sufficient and we deemed unsafe.

We had stayed here during ski season previously, and as usual, the location of the hotel (right in the village, walkable to beach and trails) is a main draw for us. The rooms are spacious (we stay in a suite with two double beds plus loft), plenty of room for family of 4.

The hotel and the resort did an excellent job enforcing cleaning, hand sanitizing and face covering practice. There is practically a hand sanitizing station at every kiosk / entry way / facility. Elevator rides cannot be shared with other guests outside of your family. Guests without face coverings were asked politely to go back outside or to wear a mask immediately.

Instead of the usual buffet breakfast, Marriott moved to a paper bag breakfast program that you can pick up everyday from the lunch room and eat inside your suite. Th breakfast bag contained: muffin, apple, cereal bar, cheese, yogurt, and a juice box. Yes it is not the same as a hot waffle and scrambled eggs, but given the safety protocol I would much rather have an individually packed breakfast that we could enjoy in our room.

The outdoor pool is open and they have instituted a time slot program that you can sign up in the morning for 30 mins to an hour per day. maximum 9 guests in the pool. We were able to get a slot every day, and noted the capacity number is well respected. (There was one day where there was a family with an extra child on deck). Hot tubs remained closed based on provincial guidelines.

As part of COVID safety....daily housekeeping service has been suspended. However the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful...and were always able to provide us with extra towels and soaps, etc.

Overall, our family had a great time and found it very convenient to use Tremblant as a base while visiting nearby area..it was great to travel and enjoy the great outdoors again after all these months.

The hotel in general was very dated and in need of a deep clean and refurbishment. Our hotel room was spacious with a small kitchenette in it although the walls were thin so it was noisy. We had a lot of heavy ski luggage and children and there was no concierge at check in to assist us in taking our bags to the room on the top floor.

The main complaint was that our room was extremely dusty upon arrival (see pictures) and the sheets were dirty! When we informed reception they told us that nothing could be done as housekeeping had gone home and that we could stay in another room for the night. This meant that we were unable to settle into our room and relax after a long trip.

The next day after our room had been “cleaned” there was still dust on the carpet, wall and back of cabinet and a pill that had appeared. When discussing this with housekeeping we abruptly got told that it had been cleaned and checked three times, which demonstrates appalling standards if this was true. When reporting these poor standards to the manger she was also rude, unapologetic and simply stated that she would send the cleaners in again. At this point we offered to clean the room ourselves.

Breakfast was below average quality and and they continuously kept running out of cups, plates and cutlery and when they did come out they were still wet. Due to the questionable hygiene standards we didn’t eat the cooked food and stuck to yogurts and cereal. The staff at breakfast looked scruffy would benefit from new modern uniforms as they looked like they were from a 50’s diner.

A few days into the holiday we noticed an extra charge on our credit card which when queried they told us this was for hiring ski locks which we didn’t have. In addition to this when we got our bill we saw that they had charged us extra for car parking which we also never used. The charges were taken off, but if we hadn’t checked we would have been charged an additional $180. This didn’t actually surprise us as we saw a child being allowed by reception to charge sweets and crisps to a room without an adult being present.

The positives were that the hotel is in a good location, the bed was comfy, the shower was hot, they offered storage for your ski’s and you could sign into Netflix/AmazonPrime on the TV.

I appreciate that this is a 3* hotel but customer service and cleanliness in my opinion should not be compromised. We would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

Hello, It is very complicated with these lockdown in Quebec to tell you that the hot tubs can stay open or closed. When we were there they were open but you needed to reserve a time slot to be alone or with your own group/bubble. As of today, you are better to call the Residence Inn directly at 1-855-797-6733 or 1-866-266-3306. Thanks
