Easy to book online, although monies were paid on booking, had to check with hotel directly that they had received payments.
Very central location with underground parking. Quiet and well-equipped rooms.
Receptionists were all very helpful.
Buffet breakfast was perfectly adequate in a clean & well-stocked restaurant.

This hotel is a former Country Inn & Suites with great suites with a full kitchen and a fireplace. Take note that some of the Executive Suites are larger and more roomy than others for the same price. The staff were wonderful going out of their way to please you and solve any issue you may have, often remembering your name. The free breakfast is hot and they have instituted a great system where you go pick it up on the ground floor (with social distancing), ordering as if in a restaurant then bringing it to your room. There is no parking outside the hotel save for a toll parking lot some distance away. So everyone tends to park in the indoor garage with really tight spots which fills up quickly at night. There is a daily parking fee of $15 which is mentioned on their website but not mentioned when you check in and ash where you can unload your luggage. My biggest beef is that you cannot drive up to the front entrance and there is no waiting area and no sign indicating were the front door is located.. It took me over 10 minutes to find the front entrance on a pedestrian street hidden by large trees. I had to park at the entrance of the Residence Inn next door to go check in. NOT NORMAL !

With respect to the hotel stay, everything was really good. The room was spacious and clean, check-in and out was easy and quick, the breakfast was great, and the location was perfect. It's a short minute walk to and from the cabriolet.
At breakfast, 2 of the days I asked for a tea, I was provided with hit water and a rea bag. On the other day I was given an empty cup and told I had tea bags and a kettle in my room.

Lastly, I'm really disappointed in the way the hotel handled the situation of my son's bathing suit that was taken from the room. I had checked out already, but my son was staying an extra night with friends, in a room across from our room. We immediately realized he left his bathing suit in the room, and went to the front desk. They were busy and said nothing had been turned, and wouldn't let him back in the room to grab it. After multiple phone calls and visits to the front desk, we were repeatedly told they would leave a message for housekeeping and maintenance, but noone ever got back to us. It's obviously that the housekeeping member that cleaned the room took the bathing suit and never turned it in, and the hotel did very little to look into it further. Unfortunately, it would take a lot for me to trust staying here again. That may seem extreme just for a bathing suit, but it was how it was handled that I'm really disappointed in.

Dear augusierra, I appreciate you for sharing your review about your recent stay. I am very sorry that you did not experience an exemplary hotel stay because of the level of service you have received. On behalf of our hotel, I apologize for our hotel did not call you back regarding your son's bathing suite. This is not what we want any of our guests to experience. I have sent you a private message to reaffirm my apologies. In the midst of the inconvenience, I am glad to know that the comfort and cleanliness of our room was still appreciated. I very much hope that you will grant us the opportunity to prove ourselves again. Best Regards, Ben W. Case Manager IHGService

I've stayed here about 15 times now, for a total of roughly 60 nights, over the past 9 years. Its always been a good experience.
I will say, that due to covid, some of the great things about it are not so great any more. The free hot breakfast buffet is gone, and instead you stand in line for a long time to give a food order to one of the employees. Its a pain, and very small amounts. Not their fault, has to be done for covid, but yeah its gone. Hot tub also has to be reserved well in advance. Pool towels have to be picked up at front desk, as well as the key for the hot tub, so you are waiting a long time in line for simple things. I'm guessing all of the hotels are having to put the same or similar measures in place. But aside from that, the location is great, pool is good, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Perfect location, 2minites walk from the little gondola. We arrived before noon and the lady at the front desk gave us a card for parking right way, so we can go skiing first. When we came back, our room was ready, it is a quite big one bedroom suite,I guess the hotel gave us an upgrade. the full kitchen and the living room with a queen size sofabed are on the main floor, while the masterbedroom with a full washroom is upstairs. Breakfast started from 7o'clock, everyone found something to eat, not bad. The staffs are all busy but always ready to help. Very good experience staying there, and highly recommended.

PROS: We had a suite for a family of four with two teenagers. Location is great in the lower "touristy" village. The two-room suite was spacious, with two double beds in a closed room and a pull out (uncomfortable) sofa bed in the living room/dining area. Complete kitchen with the basics, roomy eating area and balcony & windows with nice views. Gas fireplace in the suite, two tvs. Staff was friendly and smiling, Breakfast was served to you, choice and quality standard for a Holiday Inn.

CONS: Staff was at times incompetent. We called the front desk to ask for our ski tickets for the next day, they denied having them. We managed to get new tickets at the lifts. Then the hotel delivered the original tickets in the evenings, after the day was over!! One of two elevators did not work, guests were going up and down with luggage and ski boots. Ran out of toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner in a two night stay. Two of our room keys stopped working; staff told us it was a problem with the battery on the door mechanism. Maintenance promptly showed up but battery was not the problem, other keys still worked! The decor could use an update, rooms looking tired and "brown". Parking extra. Very dry because of electrical heating.

COVID changes: no spa open, measures were followed well enough by most of the staff, but one elevator not working was really bad. One of the staff even encouraged guests (from three different households) to (wrongly) crowd in together in the remaining elevator.

Disappointing stay for a few reasons.

Hi TheWorldIsABeautiful, Thanks for your review and for staying with us. We only want our guests to have wonderful memories of their stay with us and can see that we have fallen short of this. While we are glad to hear you liked our location, found the suite spacious and enjoyed the breakfast and I am sorry to hear there were disappointing aspects to your stay. I have shared your comments with the hotel management, so they may check on lapses that need additional attention. It might not have been a great stay, but I hope you will give us a second chance to provide you with a better service. Sincerely, Connie D Case Manager IHGService

First time at Mont Tremblant and the location was perfect. Short walk to the small gondola and easy walk to the rest of the village shops and restaurants. We had the 1 queen bed and pull out sofa room and it was perfect. Ski lockers were a pleasant surprise and very convenient. Breakfast was not bad and all day coffee and hot/cold water is great. Workout room could have some weighs but the sauna and hot tub were very nice. Hotel was clean and all the staff we encountered were extremely nice and helpful. The underground parking is nice but the free P1 parking lot is a 4 minute walk away.

Great location, hotel was very clean, bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good. You have the option of paying for underground parking at 15$ per day or you can use the free parking lot which is just a few minute walk away. Honestly, I have no complaints and would go back anytime.

What the hotel advertise on it's website or on the pictures is not what you get!. I got a room for a couple with double bed and a sleep sofa that can be opened, not queen size or king size but double! The bed was small and not comfortable, the bed centre was lower than the sides, with very poor pilots, so the sleep was very bad also the room's main window was facing the walkway that is very busy with people walking and music playing till 11pm. surprisingly the hotel was not busy but the receptionist placed a group of young people a floor above us and they were noisy till 1:30am. The room itself is old and not modern with no upgrades such as old furniture. There was a coffee machine but no cups so there was no way to make a coffee. The breakfast they offer is a only a cereal, milk, yogourt ( only sweet ) and cinnamon bans, basically a carb type breakfast and no hot breakfast!!! Basically it is not a good deal I would choose a better one even if I had to add more. Also did not see a safe in the room.

Just returned from Tremblant for a family celebration and stayed at HIE for a night.

We arrived early on Saturday around noon and although check-in is at 4pm, we were able to check-in right away (room was ready) but more importantly, we were also able to use the parking facility right away (22$ for the day). Parking is easy access and underground.

We had booked a 1 bedroom suite (separate bedroom) with full kitchenette, full fridge, sink, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, fireplace, large flat screen TV (another TV in bedroom). Great, clean, functional suite.

Hotel also has an outdoor pool which unfortunately had just been closed for the season.

Hotel is in a great location, just at the base of the Tremblant village, close to all the restaurants, bars and shop. A short 5-10 mins stroll to the top of the hill.

Only small negative would be that although there is a breakfast included in the price, the room is fairly small and with the number of guests trying to grab food at the same time, it was a bit chaotic.

Otherwise, it was a good weekend stay overall.
