I've been coming to Mont-Tremblant for years, both in the winter to ski and the summer to enjoy the lake, and this is by far the best place to stay. I've stayed everywhere from the youth hostel to the luxury brand name slope-side hotel (you can guess which one) and L'Auberge le Lupin was by far the best overall experience I've ever had. Property: charming B&B built in the typical French Canadian style. Cozy accents and a real fireplace in the room (for which an eco-friendly log was provided) brought out the authentic coziness of the property, which is no more than a 3 minute walk from the shore of Lac Tremblant and a 4 minute drive to the P1 and P2 Mont-Tremblant parking lots. Parking on-site (included and right outside your window) nestled below some beautiful big old trees. This place has obviously been adored for generations and it's easy to see why. Cleanliness: it was spotless. Truly spotless. We joked that we could've eaten off the bathroom floor and the bedroom, bed, bedding, etc. were all immaculate. Service: outstanding. Ren and Fang made us feel like we were staying at a five-star resort. They brought us coffee and cookies when we arrived, prepared our fireplace prior to our arrival, and asked us what time we would like our homemaade breakfast in the morning -- a delicious spread of food (packaged meticulously, given the Covid-19 situation). The highlight was the ham, bacon, guacamole, and fluffy scrambled eggs tucked neatly into a fresh croissant and sprinkled with chives. When we asked if we could have a few plastic bags to take food with us to the ski hill, sure enough, 30 seconds later Fang was back with them. Ren and Fang even altered their personal schedule in order to meet us at the B&B for an early checkin, two hours before the regular 3:00. They are lovely people and true hosts. Everything was just as the comments below said it would be -- a truly pleasant experience that is worth coming back for -- and that is why I'm taking the time to write a thorough review. You cannot get any better at Tremblant. I loved avoiding the crowds in the tourist village by staying the authentic way and closer to the lake. And be sure to walk to La Petite Cachée for dinner, only 10 minutes on foot from the B&B. I wish all hotel experiences came with the same level of attention to detail, service, and "feel good" vibes that Ren and Fang provided us during our stay. We're already looking forward to coming back in the summer!

Property's Favourite Review
My husband and I stayed at Auberge Le Lupin for New Years 2018-2019 and decided to come back this year because we had such an amazing experience. We were really surprised when the door opened, because it turned out there were new owners! We were a little nervous at first because we'd had such an good experience the year before, but there was really NOTHING to fear! Fang and Ren could not have made us feel more at home. My husband is a vegetarian, so Ren made him a special breakfast every morning. I unfortunately got extremely ill while I was there, and Ren made me vegetable soup after breakfast hours to help me get better. They checked in on me all the time. Even the first day when we got there, we had just bought some old school ramen, and I asked Ren if I could grab a bowl to make it. She took the pretty basic and not too tasty packet from me, and made it for me and even asked if I wanted her to add in eggs and veggies. When I asked for milk for hot chocolate, Fang warmed it up for me. These little touches meant everything to us! It was a phenomenal stay, and we'll be back again. This has also probably been covered in the other reviews, but Fang and Ren aside, Auberge Le Lupin is a great place to stay. It's conveniently located, the rooms are nice, there is an extremely cozy common space, you get a discount on the awesome Scandavian spa nearby. If you're looking for a relaxing, romantic, recharging trip, you really can't go wrong!

We went during the 2020 covid pandemic and felt very safe as they follow the rules and procedures. We spend an awesome weekend at this auberge. It’s very well located just outside of the main village and by the lake. We’ve been asked at what time we wanted our breakfast that came right on time to the room in covid safe plates. Breakfast were delightful and copious. Hosts were very friendly and accomodate us with free tea and coffee. To keep the space clean and cozy, all travelers must remove their shoes at entrance to wear slippers. We really felt at home from the get-go. Rooms were very clean and confortable. I highly recommend this place.

We were there for the colors and at the beginning of the covid situation for the Montreal area. It had an impact because we had to be served the first breakfast in our room (it was very good, especially the crepes), and had a refund for the second morning because they were not allowed to serve it in our room any more, since we were coming from the Montreal area. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. As other guests said, we felt at home. Obvioulsy it would have been better without the virus situation, but we really enjoyed our experience. Breakfast was plentyful and tasty, room was clean and cozy, the bed was very comfortable, Mr Fang and his family were friendly. Only good things to say. We were not far from the lake and a walking distance from Mont Tremblant. Really worth it...

My friend and I spent the weekend there. The hosts were attentive and personable (giving suggestions on things to do in town, randomly bringing us chips to munch on when they noticed us having a drink in the backyard, asking about food preferences and sensitivities, making everyone feel safe regarding COVID protocols). Location is excellent - a 15 minute leisurely walk along the lake to the Pedestrian Village. The inn was quiet and clean, our room was spacious, and breakfast was delicious.
