I’ve been coming to cap tremblant for many years and love it ever time. The apartment is great and comfy. The only issues I ever have is I’ve never got to Experience the other pools they’re either closed, Reno’s, to early in season or to late in season. Very sad to see as this spot used to be really bumping 10 years ago and now not as much. Hot tubs should be on as Estel resort had everything up and running on June 19th. I would love to try this water slide that my Boyfriend speaks highly of and try the other hot tubs one day hopefully this is the lucky year I get to. There’s still nothing opened up around here activities wise.
Another thing we noticed every time we come there’s this older brunette reception who has 0 customer service skills. I will stand there waiting 10 minutes while she talks on the phone just ask where to put a towel or to ask which direction to go... the polite thing to do would be to tell the person one moment on the phone and then just tell me what I need to know quickly. Usually I wouldn’t care but it’s happened 3 times on 3 separate occasion and frankly it takes away from the experience. Saturday and Sunday was fine as a younger blonde girl was working and she is quick polite and explains what we need to know.
Pool rules: no more than 30 in the pool ? The place never has more then 5 maybe. You have to call to book ahead of time for a 45 minute slot but if nobody is there you can stay. The brunette lady was pretty much telling us that we come last compared to people who are renting from the website vs from a friend. Found that to be rude. It was something along the lines that you will need to get out of the pool for someone else as they are more important. Then the blonde girl on the weekend said no such thing and the young man who asked us our names when we entered the pool was a sweet heart as well did a great job.
I do wanna come back and I usually come spend 3 nights after camping in July so hoping that the other pools are finally open after waiting 5 years to try it.

Great location! 15 minutes drive to the lifts. Well appointed 5 bedrooms. Slept 12 people comfortably. Good sound proofing - we didn’t hear neighbours. Would have been nice to have more than 2 parking spots for that many people. Overflow parking is uphill and was full. Bring your own pans - the ones there are badly scratched up. There was NO shuttle, as was advertised - that’s a pretty important missing piece, given the parking lots by the mountain are full by 8 am on weekends.

Room Tip:Â Check that everything works. Finicky fireplace. Be very careful with flood monitors. Bring own pans.

The welcome was good when we arrived, less warm the next day with a different person. The complex is a little aging. You have to take the car to go to the swimming pool which is located in the main building at the top. The apartment was very well equipped but the sofa bed was a scandal: you could count the number of springs in it. Fortunately we were only there for two nights... We must not forget that the basis of a hotel is to sleep and therefore to have minimally comfortable bedding.

I called the resort last week to inquire about a booking for my wife and me. I was greeted on the phone by Manager Karine Noury. We wanted to book a one-night stay, but Karine explained that the minimum booking was two nights. However, she agreed to make an exception for us. She informed us that check-in was at 16:00 and checkout was at 11:00. She also mentioned that the pool, spa, gym, and tennis facilities were open from 10:00 to 16:45.
Naturally, I asked if this meant we could only use the facilities for a short 45 minutes between 16:00 and 16:45 on the day of our arrival, or if we could perhaps arrive earlier and relax by the pool until our room was ready. I also inquired if we could use the pool after 11:00 on the day of checkout. Karine immediately became passive-aggressive. She said if we wanted to use the pool for longer hours, we should book another night. After pleading with her for a few minutes, she reluctantly agreed.
When we arrived at the hotel, we noticed that the room was $298.00 — $125 more than the same room listed on their website for $175.00 (see photos). When I asked her about this, she explained that the extra charge was due to the exception she made for us to accommodate a one-night stay instead of two. Not really an exception, if you're charging almost double. 🙄
The rooms: They were okay but dated, with a horrible mattress and NO AC. The temperature in the condo went up to 27°C.
The next day, when we checked out, we asked if we could go for a swim. To our amazement, when we arrived at the pool, it was half empty and being drained. We went back to the lobby to ask what was going on and were met by Karine. Now, I’m not one for conspiracy theories, but I’d bet my life she emptied the pool just to mess with us. She informed us that the pool wouldn’t be reopened until the next day and that we had to leave.
We asked to speak to the General Manager, Guymond Fortin. They had us wait for 25 minutes in the lobby. When I finally got into his office to explain the situation, I was met with the same passive-aggressive attitude. At that point, I decided to leave.
They also falsely advertise a large pool with a waterslide, and sauna (see photos), but this pool is reserved for condo owners only.
Never again. 😳

This was our second time staying at Cap Tremblant, and we booked without looking at other places because of our previous experience. We were especially looking forward to the water slide. Unfortunately, the slide and another pool are being renovated but this is not listed on the website. Quite the contrary, the image carousel shows a nice picture of that slide. According to front desk staff, this is because those pools belong to the condo syndicate and they won't allow mentioning it to vacationers. Perhaps legally true but entirely unacceptable from a customer's perspective.
There is another pool that is open and located near the main building (front desk/restaurant). It's more like a wading pool for kids and a nearby hot tub. COVID precautions are not really being taken anymore, despite signs that say reservations are needed (we went one evening and the hot tub was packed nearly shoulder to shoulder).
Our unit (1 bed plus den) was great for our family and well taken care of. Newer appliances, hardwood floors, king size bed (supposed to be queen), dining room table for 8, 3 flat screen TV, BBQ in great shape. One sofa was slightly torn but it didn't bother us. Our friends stayed in the same type of accommodation, but there's was not kept as well. There was a mild musty smell throughout, perhaps due to the old carpet, and the appliances seemed original from 20+ years ago (2 TVs are tube TVs with built-in VCR). In other words, luck of the draw if you end up in a condo that the owner has taken care of or not.
As others have noted, there is NO AC. While we did not find this to be an issue for the 2 bedrooms (both have balconies and ceiling fans), there is no window in the den so it was 26.5C when we arrived and never went below 25C. Combination of ceiling fan and a pedestal fan helped to cool down the room a bit. Overall wasn't an issue for us since we were only 2 adults / 2 kids and we had one of the kids sleeping in the den. The other sofa bed is on the main floor which got significantly cooler.
We did not try the restaurant (really expensive like everything else in Tremblant).
Overall we had a good time. However given the risk of obtaining a substandard condo or amenities being unavailable without notice (who knows what else belongs to the condo syndicate), we will stay elsewhere in the future.

I leased a condo privately for 5 months and have been pleased with the unit, although the kitchen was missing lot of items. Fortunately we have done this before and have a kitchen box we bring along with all the items that could be missing including my coffee bean grinder. Unfortunately all of the amenities, including the hot tubs are closed. The bus service that takes skiers to the hill has been cancelled this year. The only service is snow plowing. The development is 2 or 3 star at best. We have rented at the Cap before and probably will again however new renters have to know the amenities you see in pictures are not open.

Cap Tremblant seemed like a great place to spend a long weekend as a couple. The resort had multiple pools, hot tubs, and was nestled in a small village very close to the main Mont Tremblant Resort.
Upon arrival we were notified that all of the amenities were closed with the exception of the main pool due to COVID-19. This is understandable given that the resort sprawls across multiple groups of buildings and it would be difficult to control. I was also surprised that nothing was done with my Expedia Gold status when we arrived. Typically VIP partners offer an upgrade or some sort of value-add, but I guess that didn’t apply here.
Our condo was well laid out, but the design was very outdated and the bed was terrible... I mean terrible. Clean, but horrendous to sleep on. Add the fact that there was ZERO A/C, and it was nearly torturous to sleep.
The upside to this resort is the natural beauty it is located in. We even had a visitor ... photo attached ... which was a highlight for us.
Overall, I would not recommend Cap Tremblant during these unique times. I’ll reserve judgement on th

Reserved May 28 2020 for July 24-26 as a Birthday Gift weekend getaway for my boyfriend. Through the site of trip advisory when I saw the pictures It was a perfect view same thing as their own website. Upon arriving to check in so far all is good until we arrived to our condo 240 room 4 The room is hot I was excited to see the view at the balcony turns out it was not as beautiful coz we are lower and the mountain view is covered by trees . The condo's we had I think is the oldest coz the roofs are not in a good condition anymore the room is clean just hot and the view is disappointing. So we decided to go back to the front desk to ask for a transfer for a better view but all they say is impossible coz they are full I'm not so sure about that parking are not full lots of new buildings the beautiful one's with beautiful Mountain Views ! The money I paid was not worth it the swimming pool that is open is so small and shallow so we didn't go. The front desk worker could of look and see if any availability with new condo's with beautiful view even if I have to pay extra to get that view I wouldn't mind but No No service. Wouldn't go back because of the place coz after all The mountain View is nice but it's the No service to client to make them feel comfortable.

Because of COVID restrictions, we must keep the units empty for one night in between each stay for the protection of our guests and cleaning crew. So the available inventory is almost cut in half. Safety first for the benefit of every one.

We have visited Cap Tremblant since it was under Windham, which was many years ago. We love the condos and the fact that they are located in nice place. The service since last few years got so much worst. I called the hotel week before check in to see if I can get the condo with bunk bed as I am travelling with my child. Front desk lady said no before she checked availability. Then her supervisor Chantale called, I asked her if she can give us upstairs unit with the front view. I also asked if they can give me cot for the little one. She said she can’t guarantee anything. Instead of saying we will try our best! They have no cot so I asked is I can have mattress so I can have my daughter sleep in the bedroom with us . She said she will see if she can find one. Long story short, we checked in at around 6pm, the condo is a middle unit not upstairs, it doesn’t have mountain view and you guest it right , there was no mattress . In fact, the bedroom is so small that you couldn’t possibly put a mattress on the floor . So my husband slept in the living room and me and my daughter in the bedroom. Plus there were garbage and dirty linens outside of the unit door upon check in . Thanks for the “comfortable “ stay and maybe to be little more considerate with your guests.

In high season, we do our best to accommodate special requests but cannot guarantee it as this was correctly reported to you. There are 23 buildings on the Resort and the dirty linen bags and garbage are removed regularly during the day. Usually, they are removed prior to 5PM. I appreciate that you are a regular guest at our Resort and I invite you to reach me directly for a future reservation.

Due to Covid 19 we tried to contact Expedia and couldn't get through to cancel. Also couldn't cancel on line. We contacted Cap Tremblant and asked them if we could change date due to Covid 19 since they already had our deposit. They said no that if we didn't show up we would be charged the whole amount. I told them that all restaurants, ski hills and were closed and they also closed all hot tubes on their promises. It is terrible that they have taken advantage of customers. They have forced customers to go to their condos. We were suppose to go for 4days but left after 3 days since no restaurants were open and nothing was open due to the virus. We were not asking for cancellation only a credit for a future date. What a disappointment

It should. However, when making the reservation, you could ask to be located in the building next to the hot tub, otherwise you will need to take car. Ideally, a conversation with reception desk will make things smoother. They are really nice. Happy Holidays!
There is a paved trail called Piste Multifonctionnelle between the Old Village (where is Cap Tremblant) and the Mont-Tremblant ski Resort (15 minutes by bike, 45 minutes walking) where you will find mountain bike trails.. There is also another paved trail called Le P'tit Train du Nord that will bring you to St-Jovite. Yo will need to keep your bikes attached to your own rack.
There are more places to choose from in the Mont Tremblant area.
