I kept telling my son one day we would hike all the way to top of Summit,,Today that dream came true it was the most beautiful and previous feeling reaching top of Summit with my son,a memory that will stay in my heart forever.
We stayed here from Friday to Sunday Victoria Day long weekend (the big storm). We were a party of 5 adults and one toddler in the big 2 suite room. The place was great, costumer service was amazing, the room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Overall we had an amazing experience, until the storm hit. There was a complete blackout in the area and we left Sunday morning with still no electricity. We made do and still enjoyed the rest of our stay. Obviously this is absolutely not the staff’s fault but many guests felt the need to be belligerently rude to the staff who were trying their best in such a difficult situation. I have to say, thank you so much for everything and for making our stay as comfortable as you could. We will definitely be back!
The family suite layout is excellent for a family of 4. i liked the bathrooms, kitchen and the little TV in the bedroom, the shuttle service is excellent so as the front desk staff. The location is not that far from the ski.
My family of nine had scheduled to travel to Chateau Beauvallon on Dec 26 through January 2. This was our Christams gift to our family which we confidently booked in July. In the days before our travel date, the COVID-19 public health crisis had escalated at a pace that no reasonable person could have anticipated. The Government requested that all non-essential travel be avoided in Quebec, and mandated that gatherings be limitted to a party of 6 as of Dec 26. Our party size and the non essentail purpose of our travel placed us in direct contravention of the governement restrictions. As it stood, we could not gather, eat together, or access any of the now limitted hotel amenities. This would not be the vacation we had agreed to or paid for. When we reached out to the hotel, to change our travel dates to comply with the Government directives, we were met with a rude and condescending response. The lack of flexibility and the manner in which we were treated by this hotel so disappointing. During what is an incredibly trying time, the Chateau Beauvallon was very unproffesinal and unreasonable adding insult to the injury of having to cancel a much-anticipated family vacation at a high cost. I would not recommend this hotel to any other family.…
Old and very old. I was there 20 year ago and nothing change, except: No investment, no renovation, no pool outside, no pool inside, everything was closed, the roof outside is finish, the balconny need to be repaint. the room is from 2000, The service at the front desk is good and the driver shutle is very good. Other than that everything is closed and very old with no renovation. This is sad!! vert Sad. the owner don't want to put a dime into it and this is obvious when you know the business.
I would not recommend, at least not now. Travelled with family in September. The place is ok but very old. Walking from the room to elevator is pretty long. The pool is closed for the season - as they said but it is only September, bar is closed. If the amenities are not available, why price is staying the same??? Nothing really to do, especially with kids. Room is ok and clean.
Realy nice hotel. Very cozy. Check in was fast and friendly. Free parking. Our room was pretty spacious and comfy. Great bed well equipped kitchen . TV was old and needs replacement. Fireplace wasn't working... Great balcony. Nice bonus - two washrooms. Hotel not vey close to the city like 5 min drive. Great park is close with hiking trails. Overall would recommend this hotel and would stay again !
Pros: The staff were very nice, the hotel was cozy. Cons: we booked this place so we could lounge in the pool and hot tub. The indoor hot tub has been drained and the outdoor hot tub is currently closed. The pool is only available to guests for a 1 hour period per day. There is no cleaning or room service because of covid. I understand this is out of their control but some things didn’t make sense - 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for an entire stay in a room that sleeps 6 people? Restaurant and bar not open. Overall, this was nowhere near a 4 star stay. Not enough value for our money.
As a black person I was disgusted by how the staff talks to us despite nationality the way they talked to me and my family was horrible this is totally non professional and disgusting. Think twice if you are a person of COLOr and come here cause these people are uneducated and doesn’t know how to talk. AND TO ADD More THEY HAVE NO ROOM SERVICE NO RESTAURANT NEAR no food this is spectacular. Honestly I’m rating this thing one out of five
We stayed at that hotel a few years back and we really liked it, but now with COVID there was no room service and the bed cover was all bumpy from over washing, that cover should have been thrown away a long time ago… Also we took a one bedroom suite, the chairs in our room were sticky and the patio furniture was dirty with leftover food, really discosting!!
