We stayed two nights in July and were very happy with our stay. We had the Atlantic View, one of the bigger cottages and it had 2 double beds, a full kitchen, couch, closet area, full bathroom and beautiful covered deck with access to a BBQ. The owner was very accommodating. These cottages are clean. Even the fridge was spotless. TV, internet and air conditioning! Located ready close to downtown Lunenburg. Oh there's a fireplace for those who can stay up late. :)

Husband and I stayed in the Blue Heron cottage for 2 nights in July. This is a small 1 room cottage with the bed and kitchen/eating area open to each other. Open wall shelving contains dishware and glassware along with some kitchen staples (coffee, tea, sugar, etc.). There is also a sink and small bar fridge. A small TV is on the kitchen counter and was hard to see from the bed. The bathroom is also quite small. There is a rod and short shelf next to the bed. Having said that, the decor is lovely, the unit was clean and there is a heat pump to provide AC. A fire pit and several Adirondack chairs are on the lawn in front of this unit. There was a “no trespassing” sign across the street in front of the beach. There was also some road construction nearby that delayed us going to/from Lunenberg, but this is certainly no reflection on the motel. As we were on a 2 week vacation, it was difficult to store our luggage given the size of the cottage, but we made it work for two nights. If you like some room to move around, I’d suggest a 2 bedroom unit instead.

We stayed in the queen suite and I loved the space. It was nicely decorated with a beautiful room. The man I spoke with in the office was very friendly and helpful. Everything you might typically need is provided in the kitchen including coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, and even dish soap. My husband was disappointed not to have air conditioning and that the tv was small but neither of those are priorities for me so I was very pleased with the space. The living space has a nice little couch and table and chairs. It was nice to have living space separate from the bedroom.

We thought this place was always charming, clean and friendly, but the new owners have taken it up a few notches more. Our stay in August of 2019 felt like we were vacationing with friends / family. Then we returned August 2020 and discovered the cottages and motel rooms have all gotten a refresh inside and out. And it was the perfect place to stay during Covid. The socializing across the porches or in the firepit yard was safe and enjoyable. Watching the moon rise over the ocean, walking through the quaint town of Lunenburg and enjoying the fresh seafood ... could not ask for a better getaway.

Beautifully renovated cottages and motel units. The owners were very accommodating. Short walk in to town but a fabulous ocean view to greet you in the morning. Lots of great restaurants in the town also.

We spent a very peaceful afternoon and night at the Atlantic View Cottages. Beautiful little spot just on the outskirts of Lunenburg. Clean, comfortable and quiet. If you’re in the area and looking for a nice quiet little place for a day or more, you should check this out. Beautiful beach walk just across the road!

Atlantic View motel is one of those wonderful surprises that await travelers on a long trip with many "blind" reservations. We were lucky to have booked two nights. We would have liked to stay longer. We booked a standard double suite which was a great choice. We had a reasonable bedroom a kitchenett and a sitting room with a dining table facing the wonderful Atlantic view. The owners a very kind and helpful couple of German origin were an integral part of our pleasant stay. The motel is situated a little out of town. with a beautiful view to the Atlantic a vast lawn - frequented by wild deers. Couldn't be a better choice.

Lovely well maintained well equipped cottage. It is not large inside but well equipped and clean and a lovely view of the bay. 2 nice chairs outside to sit and relax, not too far from the town. I was sorry we did not book for longer. The only problem was the internet which was not working at all the night we were there. Other wise a pleasant stay would love to go back sometime.

We rented a little room in a series of little rooms, not quite a motel, but much nicer. The TV is surprisingly small, and the BBQ's are located in an area behind where there was a large number of mosquitoes. The internet worked well, the unit was very clean, no room to really sit in front due to parking. The view is fabulous.

This motel nicely situated has small beach just across the road and the proximity to core of Lunenberg. They have a variety of rooms available which are tastefully decorated . The bathroom small but functional. Reserve early as this place is good value. Beware there is lots of deer at dusk on the road.
