Our host was very friendly and welcoming. She was very helpful and knows lots about the area, and made some good recommendations. The lodge in a close walk to the harbour. The bed was comfortable, although the top floor got a little warm in the hot summer heat. Fans were provided, which helped. Breakfast was in a basket delivered to...

This is a historic property with character just a few minutes' walk from the waterfront and the other points of interest and amenities in Lunenburg. It has space for parking outside. Our room was quite comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, with a spa bath. It was however expensive (the most expensive of the 7 hotels we stayed in during...

Beautiful from the street and very nice inside. We had a change of itinerary and decided to check out Lunenberg. We were able to secure 2 rooms- lucky at the late date of our request. The Innkeeper told us all she had was on the 3rd floor- we appreciated her letting us know. It was a warm night and the...

My wife and I stayed at the Bluenose Lodge for our 5th anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate. The suite was lovely with a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom. The owner Andrea was wonderful and even helped me coordinate getting flowers to the suite to surprise my wife! I would highly recommend the Bluenose...

We stayed on the main floor of the Coach House, in the rear of the main building. It was spacious and comfortable, with a kitchen, living room, separate bedroom area (with AC - very welcome in the very hot weather) and a spacious bathroom (tub/shower combo). The owner showed us around and was very helpful and personally brought us a...

Stayed here for two nights in July and not only was our room on the second floor, amazing with high ceilings, window fan, bathroom with amazing water pressure, and the most comfortable bed, I've ever slept on. The breakfast wasn't that much, but the pastries we had weren't bad, but was looking for a little more. The owner was very...

We were a family group - 7 adults -- and found this to be a perfect place for our stay. We spent many happy hours in the lounge area on our floor, where the scent of privet and some other sweet flowering things drifts in. The rooms are beautifully appointed - each distinctly furnished and comfortable. The location is also...

The lodge is very quaint with all amenities you need for a weekend escape. I love that the owners kept the historic feel with the furnishings and decor. It has a lot of character. Very close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay. Hope to come back again soon.

Recently stayed at the Bluenose Lodge with wife and 2 kids. We stayed in the Carrage house out back. It was so quaint...just what we expected. The place has everything you could need. And very clean. The breakfast basket in the morning was oh so good! :). Wish we could have stayed a few more days.

Staying in such a historical town it is nice to stay in a historical building. (Ok, not as old as "old town" but pretty old!) It is a short walk to everything you want to see/do in town. Our room was pretty and the washroom (where I'm not interested in the historical experience) was wonderfully modern. Andrea graciously accommodated all...
