We spent three nights at the Addington Arms in Lunenburg and could not have asked for a better place to stay. We stayed in the Topsail Suite and the room was spacious and beautifully decorated. There was a large bedroom, a huge bathroom and even larger living room. With the windows open we got a wonderful cross breeze. The bed...

What you'll find here: A fabulous well-equipped room, a delicious full breakfast with special treats, an excellent location in Lunenburg, and most of all - it's the attention to detail and the great personal style that Chris and Dan have brought to this place. You can't go wrong here. Be certain about your schedule, though: This property has a tougher...

I recently stayed here for 3 nights and it was a wonderful, central base from which to explore Lunenburg and the surrounding area. When I called to book, their smaller/more affordable rooms were already taken so, without my needing to ask, they offered me one of their suites at the same, single person rate as their more affordable rooms. So...

We've stayed at many B&B's but this is one of the best experiences that we've had. My husband and I were here for two days and wish it had been longer. The room was great and the bathroom was amazing (especially the steam shower) but it was the thoughtfulness and kindness that Chris showed that really made it special. And...

Took a night away from Halifax and stayed at this wonderful B&B. Excellent service, all gluten-free needs were catered to, Spanker Sail room was bigger than expected. Highly recommend this property to everyone!

Chris, you are fantastic. This is the only place I will ever stay at in Lunenburg, even if I was offered a room elsewhere for free. The service, amenities, location, and FOOD were all perfect! Wake up in the morning with an appetite and you will not be sorry! The local meat, and juice were delicious, and I think you...

One night in Lunenburg, wish it could have been longer. After having stayed in small rooms in Halifax it was nice having the larger Heritage Suite with a sitting room. I never knew what the fuss was about sheet thread count, but now I am spoiled, thanks to Chris. Top quality beds and linens, nice touch having bathrobes, and fell...

Fabulous experience here for two days. Room was very comfortable with a large sitting area, super comfy bed and a great little fridge with $1 amenities that were perfectly priced and a nice bonus to have late at night. Great local food recommendations, and conveniently located to everything in the downtown area, would go back in a heartbeat!

My husband and I were looking for a place to get away and celebrate our one year anniversary. I found Addington Arms on-line and I am so glad I did! Chris is super friendly and very welcoming. We stayed in the Heritage Suite. It felt like home. The small touches made a huge difference. The aromatherapy steam shower was very...

Based on reviews in TripAdvisor, we stayed at the Addington Arms last week-end, a getaway night from our home in Halifax. After a dance in nearby Bridgewater, we settled into the Topsail Suite. The suite was great, very roomy, very comfortable, very clean, nicely decorated. We had our first steam, complete with aromatherapy, quite a unique experience. Our hostess Christine...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Addington Arms B&B sits atop 2 fine art galleries and atop the six square block historic district of this UNESCO world heritage site, affording ocean views from all of our suites and room. Shopping, dining and exploring are all just steps outside your front door. We are not your typical B&B but more akin to a boutique hotel, with stocked mini fridges, TV's and en-suite steam-rooms with aroma therapy or an air-jet tub in very spacious surroundings. On-site parking is available as street parking is problematic in the summer months. Our breakfasts are as memorable as the town of Lunenburg itself. ... more   less
