We stayed at the Sail Inn for one great night in mid July. All reviews have got it covered. Awesome location, large clean rooms with huge bathroom and double sinks. Only "downside" to the bathroom in the high step ups to the tub. Could be a difficulty if one has some mobility issues. Parking is a little tight, but regular vehicles aren't an issue. Glad to have free spot available. Breakfast is ordered as you like it the night before as well as your preferred time slot. Self check in was simple. We even called the manager to see if we could check in early. Our call was answered and it worked out we were able to come in a bit early. Would highly recommend staying at this great little spot.

The Sail Inn deserves all the great reviews mentioned. Kevin is on top of his business from moment you make reservation. Room was spotless and overlooked Montague St. Very comfortable bed. Remodeled bath room with whirlpool tub as well as shower. And made to order hot breakfast. No problem with parking. Convenient entry using lockbox.

Best location in a tiny city. 1 of 4 apartments with 3 parking spaces behind, breakfast served in the half basement. The guided tour of the city by TIFFANY (google) was the highlight of our stay —at $25 bucks apiece. Inside info of the meaning of “the Lunenburg Bump?”. You need to spend $25 and ask Tiffany.

The entire B&B was very clean. The suite was decorated in an old south shore port theme which complimented the house’s curb appeal. The overall room was spacious and divided into three areas - main bedroom with a hotel style set up, comfy bed; large bathroom which included dual sinks with plenty of counter space, large soaker tub, rain head shower; small kitchen bar area with microwave, coffee maker, sink and small fridge. There is also a good size closet c/w with hangers and a luggage stand. The location is incredible!!! Park the car and bring your walking shoes as once you step out the door you are in the heart of Lunenburg - restaurants, pubs, shopping, museums, along with a quick walk down the steps to the waterfront. Oops, almost forget to mention the breakfast which was delicious and served in a cafe style kitchen set up. Appreciated the large coffee mugs! This will be a must stay to book if we have a chance to return to Lunenburg.

Great location, steps away from the harbour! Spacious room with firm mattress and comfortable pillows. Nice historic feel with rustic wood floors. Huge bathroom with steps into tub/shower. Given the size of the tub, grab bars should be added. Parking in rear was an added bonus. We did not meet the host, all communication was via email/text. Breakfast was good with ample coffee.

This place is great to stay in Lunenburg. Location in the middle of the old city, at 100 meter from coastline. Parking behind the accommodation, what's unusual in Lunenburg. Very kind Housekeepster served a very good breakfast.Very nice en clear rooms with big bathroom. Only little negative point is the unannounced self check in.

Located right in the middle of the main restaurant and bar strip everything was really close by. Our room was very large for a B&B and the bathroom was huge. The place was a tasteful blend of old would but with modern furnishings and equipment. The room was immaculately clean.Breakfast was tasty, fresh and plentiful. We paid a little more for this fantastic B&B but we were so glad that we did.

The Sail Inn is a wonderful B&B located in the heart of Lunenburg. Location couldn't be better. The owner, Kevin, is very friendly and cooks a good breakfast! Our room upstairs was spacious and tastefully decorated. The Sail Inn doesn't have a lot of rooms so it felt like we had the place to ourselves! We had a great view over the harbour and the bathroom was perfect. We would love to come back and stay again!

We stayed just one night as part of a Nova Scotia sisters' road trip. We had a big room on the ground floor with a huge ensuite bathroom, and a separate kitchen alcove with sink, microwave and fridge. The room overlooked the main street, but shutters provided privacy. An in-window air conditioning unit provided relief from the summer heat, but was noisy at night. Our host, Kevin, cooked us a beautiful breakfast, served in the basement kitchen/dining room. Good value.
