We really lucked into this place: it is smack dab in the middle of town, with a view of the harbour. It is beautifully appointed and our room was huge. The breakfasts were outstanding and just so delicious, the owner Kevin and his staff so friendly and accommodating. If you're there in sailing season, your nightly fee gets you a... More

I really liked the Sail Inn. Our room, #1, was so spacious, particularly the bathroom, which was huge and complete with a large soaker bath tub, double sink, and roomy shower. As an added bonus (one we didn't realize we would receive) was a complimentary evening sail on the "Eastern Star" sailing vessel. The breakfast was made to order and really... More

We've been going to this lovely B&B for several years now and it truly has become a home away from home. The interior of this historic house a stone's throw from the waterfront must have been restored by a shipwright -- beautiful woodworking in places you wouldn't expect it, like around the jacuzzi tub. No worries, these guys know how... More

The Sail Inn is a very nice B&B whose owner[Keith] also owns the Eastern Star which gives you a free 2 hour sail with your stay, weather permitting[that's a $37.00 savings per person]. It is a non owner occupied B&B so if you arrive after 4 PM, be sure you can open your email which will give you the code... More

What a delightful place to stay! We had a room on the top floor, which I recommend because of the wood floors. Our room was spacious with a view of the harbor. Surrounded by restaurants and shops so it was easy to walk to everything. Our room included a ride on the owner's sailboat, which was fun. The breakfasts were... More

If a restful stay in a historic inn with antique furnishings overlooking a fishing town with a great breakfast and friendly people is what you like, then this fits the bill. Plus you get a fabulous opportunity to sail on the Eastern Star out into the harbor. I don't know why you would stay anywhere else. We were so at... More

On arriving in Lunenburg we feel in love with the place and the Sail Inn just added to the experience. The historical building was beautiful with views over the harbour and sea. The four poster bed was massive! There was a box to stand on to get up to it if needed. The bathroom was very well laid out with... More

We learned about the Sail Inn from the Lunenburg Tourist Office. They told us that the inn is usually sold out, but they could take us for one of the two nights we were in Lunenburg. Our room (#1) was spacious, with a view on to the main street and the harbor. The unique thing about the Sail Inn is... More

This is one of my favorite places I've ever stayed it in all of my travels!! It preserves the architecture and feel of the house with well-appointed antiques, while adding very high quality modern linens and towels and an oversized, well-appointed bathroom and tub/shower. Wow! Like a high-end spa, but with all of the history of Lunenberg. And the cozy... More

Very cute B&B. We only stayed one night but it was great, breakfast in the morning was delicious, room was very clean, bed was super comfortable and we had a jacuzzi tub which was really nice! The gentleman working was super sweet and made sure we were happy. We were only a short walk away from a nice pub and... More
