We were a group of friends on a cycling getaway. Laurie greeted us and was most helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the tranquility of the grounds, where one can take a walk and enjoy the views. The breakfast (including kiwi jam) was good and gave us energy for more cycling.

Dh and I were supposed to stay elsewhere on our 1st night of our Vancouver Island trip, but the owner had been in contact with someone who had Covid, and so found us a room at this lodge. I'm not sure what my original place is like, but the Kiwi Cove in was fantastic. The room was large, bright, overlooking the gorgeous orchard, and had the bedroom part and a separate sitting area by the wall of windows at the back. We walked around the property after arriving. The bed was comfy, and the room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast the next morning was fabulous, as was the service. Highly recommend this place.

It was my first visit to the isand! The hotel reception didnt exist - had to walk around the hotel trying to attract attention! The room did have a spectacular view - but there was no Internet, no tv and the roos was HOT. Lots of highway noise Mosquitos galore Breakfast - maybe I shouldnt even review!

Just a great little spot. The location is so beautiful and quaint. The staff and manager were amazing and will go out of thier way off hours to accommodate even the craziest request! The manager will know what I mean!

We spent 3 nights in Kiwi Cove Lodge during New Year's weekend. We had a spacious, spotless room with a beautiful view, there was a lot of snow at the time and view from the room and the restaurant was spectacular! Breakfast was included in the room rate, and the Chef spoiled us every morning with a different menu. Nice music and tasty coffee in the restaurant. The Chef also prepared a 5 course dinner for New Year's eve which was delicious. Overall excellent service, would like to go back in spring/summer to see the kiwi farm.

Another wonderful stay at Kiwi Cove and this time the Chef produced a breakfast worthy of the most exclusive hotels. Fresh apple yogurt to start, followed by the most delicious Eggs Benedict with perfectly roasted potatoes, all served with orange juice and coffee and topped off with a moist banana cake with a crunchy finish. To have this quality of meal included in the price of our stay was a real bonus. The views of the snow up on the mountains just made the experience even more special. We just love staying here.

My husband and I just spent 3 wonderful days at Kiwi Cove. It is just off the highway close to Ladysmith and a great location for adventures to Victoria or Parksville.A motel on the highway can’t come close to this serene retreat with spacious, well-appointed rooms, and a full 2 course (included )breakfast which included freshly picked kiwis right off the vine. Birds abound on the waterfront which was ours to explore. The staff were wonderful, and free netflix was there for a cosy movie night. The experience reminded me of a trip to Napa Valley !

As it’s name suggests, this B and B overlooks an orchard with kiwi fruit, and tidal flats that is good for birdwatching. They do a decent breakfast with patio dining where you can sample kiwi fruit jam. From time to time you may hear road noise from the TransCanada highway which may bother some people. If mobility is an issue, choose a ground floor room.

From the warm greeting upon arrival, including the info of the layout of the acreage and the community garden, everything was a ten. Delicious breakfast with an appetizer served beforehand on the outdoor patio. Watching the adorable bunny hopping by us well drinking our wine in the kiwi acreage. It was a getaway we will not forget. Thank you Peggy. Abigail.

Two women friends and I stayed 2 nights last month at Kiwi Cove Lodge and absolutely loved our experience...so much so that we hope to return in the fall. The setting was idyllic, the rooms charming, and our delicious homemade breakfasts were made even more special with the inclusion of kiwi jam. We also enjoyed learning about kiwis, took the quiz and won prizes! Many thanks to our host Peggy !
