This is a beautiful property right on Pine Lake, just a few minutes outside Gravenhurst. The rooms are lovely and there is a spacious common area and many outdoor options as well. David and Elaine are great hosts, very tuned in to the beauty of the area. Elaine is a superb cook and we had a delicious breakfast of Peameal...

Well, Hello again! It's always good to hear from you , and we're glad that our special place is becoming your special place as well. The weather continues to be amazing, the gardens full of tomatoes & lettuce, the marigolds in abundant bloom, and the water still warm for swimming. Soon, Muskoka will be a blaze of majestic Autumn colour!...

Just completed a weekend stay and had a wonderful time. The guest house has everything you need and is comfortable and clean. Breakfast each morning was excellent! Really good quality food, some items even come right from the garden out back. Tons of amenities to take advantage of, from kayaks and canoes to swings and hammoks. Definitely would stay here...

We are so glad you enjoyed your visit with us, especially the kitchen and garden inspired details which are very close to my heart. The sprawl of edible flowers, the trellis of beans are all still flowering; a feast for the eyes and plate. We are so privileged to make this chapter of our lives on the shores of Pine...

We just returned from a lovely weekend at The Muskoka Rose. In the words of our hosts, David and Elaine, it was magic! Accommodations were clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and filling, the grounds were well kept and so beautiful and the lake was serene. But there was something about it that we felt a connection with every guest...

Had a wonderful time! Our hosts Elaine and David were great. Accommodations were comfortable and breakfasts outstanding! If only the weather had cooperated, we could have enjoyed the peaceful lakefront more.

David & Elaine were warm and welcoming. Advertised was a hottub but it was out of order when we arrive (sad!). GREAT rooms - clean and comfortable. DELICIOUS breakfasts made by Elaine - we loved them! Loved the lake access and use of the canoe. Beautiful finger lake to explore. So close to Gravenhurst and Bala. Breakfast was at a...

We are glad that your visit was a pleasant one, especially around the breakfast table! We enjoy what we do, the little details, the ongoing innovations, and the great conversations that unfold. After the long winter, we were forced to retire the hot tub, and had removed it from the website. We are glad you mentioned this so that we...

David and Elaine, our hosts are delightful folks. Their home is attractive, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was a delightful experience because the menu is flexible and plentiful and the conversations around the breakfast table were stimulating and informative. David and Elaine are always more than willing to provide information and suggestions about the surrounding sites and eateries.

Our three day stay was everything we hoped it would be. Our hosts, David and Elaine, went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome in their home. The location is the perfect Muskoka retreat. The lake is clean and wonderful for swimming and canoeing. Elaine's breakfasts are amazing. A lovely adult getaway in a quiet setting!

We stayed with Elaine and David for four, very comfortable, nights. From the moment we arrived we were treated more like friends than guests. Elaine's breakfasts are delicious and imaginative. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the lake as well as in their pretty garden. We would highly recommend a visit!

We stayed at this beautiful place only two days, but it was a great time. The hosts are friendly and helpful, always with a nice smile. The house is very cosy and "Colby"(the dog) is cute. Breakfast is delicious and the property by the Pine Lake is a special place to whoever is looking for a quite place to relax....

We are happy that you enjoyed you stay with us, and also that you were able to see so, so much of Muskoka, including the Steamship tour of Lake Muskoka. We look forward to seeing and visiting with you both again, perhaps, as you said, in the Fall when the colours are ripe. We will be sure to make your...
