The hotel does have a few rooms on the main floor, but the majority of rooms are up a flight of stairs- no elevator. Hallways have a unused, musty smell. My room was dingy and oddly laid out. Only two thin pillows on the bed and I still can't identify the smell coming off the bedspread.

Arrived in the evening. The front desk staff guy wasn't very welcoming. We settled in after a tired day and my two daughters and we're very tired. Then we turned on the air conditioners unit. My daughter described it well saying it reminded her of a boat engine...very noisy. Then a party started across the hall. At 11:50pm I called...

When I was planning my trip in Newfoundland, I decided that I would plan it with it going through GFW because of some great reviews that I read on trip advisor. Either all of these reviews are fake or they're all for the suites because my stay was absolutely terrible. The beds were bad and the breakfast was meger. GFW...

Clean room, lots of space. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. No restaurant but lots of places to eat within a short distance. Quiet neighborhood setting. Would not stay anywhere else. You won't be disappointed.

We came here on the advice of my Newfoundland travel book. This is quaint inn in with 2 floors, as well as a side building with suites. When you walk in, there is a small lobby and breakfast eating area. We checked in quickly and received the key to our room. The room was a good size for a small...

The rooms are basic, but clean and neat. Quiet unless someone is running water. Good, helpful staff and a surprisingly decent breakfast. The staff was able to suggest sites to see and restaurants to try.

The linens and bathroom were clean. The bed wasn't sagging. The floor coverings throughout could use updating. I would stay here again. Even though the hotel was near capacity it was quiet in my room.
