My husband and I have driven the Alaska Highway to the Yukon many times and have stayed at this motel many times. I can remember when it had a restaurant (now suites on the far left). Every stay has been good. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfy, the bathrooms remodeled and clean with plenty of towels. There is wi fi and new TV. I usually ask for the first floor but forgot once and ended up upstairs but it turned out to be a good thing as there were northern lights that night and we could sit outside on the balcony and enjoy. The rooms have been modernized and repainted but I must say that I miss the bluebell color the rooms had in the past. You can gas up and get coffee with flavored creamers not found everywhere in the north. Across the highway is the Pub with good food. A good choice of motels.…
First time in Fort Nelson and we pulled just add they were closing. Thankfully Aman the manager hadn't locked up yet so we grabbed a room. I was pleasantly surprised!! I was already from the outside but inside was very clean and cozy. The most comfortable beds I've seen, you literally melt into them! It's super reasonably priced too. All in all great night sleep, awesome staff and great stay
This hotel is conveniently located along the Alaskan Highway. It was a generous size room with a kitchenette and two large comfortable beds. It is an older property but we had no issues with our room. We would stay again.
Super clean and comfortable.room. Bed appeared to be a new pillow top mattress, Friendly staff to greet us. The motel was very quiet. We had a camper and the staff said we could go back to the RVPark to cook if we wanted to as we were actually cooking on a coleman stove outside.
The campground is located behind the gas station and inn. We had a pull thru with full hookups. There’s no trees between the pull thrus but a few trees by the back ins. It’s like a huge Parking lot with dirt/gravel around and tall grass that needed mowing. There’s a picnic table at the sites and you’re close to your neighbor. The best place to get WiFi was if you went to sit at the picnic table across the laundry room near the office. The restrooms were in the middle of RV park but it was closed. Just an overnight place and no more. Oh, there’s these black huge flying, looking beetles with long antennas. There’re everywhere.
