This is a very good place to stay with a pet. Separate entrance if you need one. Very friendly staff, good breakfast, complimentary coffee. Very nice clean rooms and comfortable beds. Very good value. I will stay here again if i come back to Fort St John.
Positive: - located direct by Alaska Highway. Food store, gas stations and restaurants are nearby - calm, clean and well equipped rooms with a small kitchenette (microwave, refrigerator and coffee machine) - parking available in front of the hotel (no fee) - continental breakfast included, which was ok - good room rates Negative: Everything is fine for a short stay. Breakfast due to COVID limited and just as take away.
Fantastic breakfast to take to your room, good coffee. Everything smooth, nice spacious rooms with kitchenette. Tried very hard to maintain good level of service. But I do not agree with dog charge if there is no damage or extra clean-up.
After leaving the Super 8 next door we walked into the Lakeview Inns & Suites. We had an outstanding check in service with Tia who got us all set up and gave us advice on where to wash our motorcycles and get a great meal. We'll definately be back.
There is no lake view. No lake. So the name is odd. But the hotel was very nice. the staff were accommodating, and very pleasant. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only thing missing was a luggage stand. We had to put the bags on the floor. But that was minor. Everything else was fine. The room was warm and the shower was hot.
Although there was no view to a lake the accommodation was excellent. The rooms were very clean, the linen fresh and crisp and the towels fluffy and soft. The covid breakfast was acceptable considering the the times. Wahhhhh no waffles. Front desk staff were excellent. We highly recommend a stay here.
Stayed here a few weeks ago. The front desk agent was either disinterested in her job or her life because her RBF was on full force. Once checked in went out for dinner. There are not many options so it was off to the local Boston Pizza which was not a disappointment. Back at the hotel I had a suite and it was obvious the doors had not been opened in some time. The room was dusty, there was a view of a trailer park out the window. There was a ring around the toilet and black hair on the floor. After a long drive just fell into the bed which was surprisingly comfortable. SPoke with the front desk agent in the morning with another less than enthusiastic interaction. Apparently the Super 8 next door is cheaper...and cleaner
I travel a fair amount for my job and stay at many a hotel. So, is there anything over or below the norm with this hotel, not really. My only comments would be: Beds are too soft and they keep the hotel really warm. But other than that, there's a shuttle during the week to and from the airport, close to everything, and the hotel room and breakfast area was clean. But, all in all, another hotel, in another town, in another part of BC.
Stopped here for the night. Check in was speedy and without issue. Room was very nice and quite. Shower was nice and hot with great water pressure. It is a great property that is clean & secure. I would have zero issue staying here again!
Will be my first choice if travelling through the area. Very clean, modern and comfortable place. Cozy and fresh bedding, not too noisy, ample parking. Good price and free breakfast in the lobby with a variety of options. Friendly and outgoing staff.
