What a perfect experience. Emerald Lake has it all - absolutely stunning environment and charming buildings, delicious food, and thoughtful, professional, and skilled staff who are experts at their craft. Kerrie and Natalie were absolutely wonderful to work with, very responsive with questions and flexible with ways of planning around shifting restrictions. We had a beautiful, stress-free wedding experience, and all of our guests were blown away by the location, food, and service. We truly can’t thank you all enough!
Hotel in need of a lot of maintenance, the area and mountains are as always spectacular but the lack of services and dining options at the Lodge make me rethink going back. No wifi in rooms, no daily room cleaning, not a lot to do up here except read a book all day in May. Trails not really ready for hiking and most hikes in area closed. Maybe better place in Summer months.
We had a lovely stay at Emerald Lake in April. The shuttle was fantastic and all staff were great (one name we can remember is Colin, who was extremely cheerful and attentive). Our log cabin was absolutely beautiful and the lake itself is stunning. It may be nice to add one more vegan option to the menu for dinner (and have a vegan breakfast other than fruit/toast), but we realise it's not always possible.
The location is just amazing, staff friendly and attentive, food was great, with views to die for. Rooms with log fire were great. If you get the chance I would really recommend it. May the lake hadn't thawed, but very quiet of people
Very enjoyable quiet location after tours leave, good hiking, good food and helpful friendly service. One negative our room would benefit from new flooring and bedding. Location is definietly Emerald Lake Lodge's key attribute.
Worth a day trip and meal in the restaurant. To stay felt like a motel standard. Not a valuable experience. The view is spectacular however the dining is overpriced and poorly executed. The rooms are ok, carpet was filthy and stained walls
Supernatural lake mountain view, good hiking trails(Summer), visit the ‘Natural Bridge” down the hillside and also the Visitor Centre in the town Field. While you are in Field, enjoy your lunch at “Truffle Pigs Bistro”.
We stayed at the lodge and went for dinner at the restaurant ! Staff were professional and friendly. The dinner was amazing and the food was exceptional. Cozy place and the firepit in the room was amazing. I will recommend this place and come back ! Thank you
Emerald Lake Lodge is located in a stunningly beautiful location but the accommodations and facilities are in dire need of being updated and renovated. And it's just not the same without a functioning hot tub.
I planned a 2 night, solo stay at Emerald Lake to disconnect and relax. I had an amazing experience, everyone was very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and there was always someone available if I needed anything. I will absolutely be back and have already recommended to several friends and family. Because there is no service and wifi is limited, plan any hikes or things you want to do beforehand. I made the mistake of not downloading my alltrails maps before so I had to stop in at the main lodge to do it before leaving for the day.
