We spent 2 weeks in the Canadain Rockies last summer. This was where we spent our final night and it was hands down our favorite! The room was cozy, clean and comfortable and the our meals at the restaurant were the best! I highly reccomend! We checked in after exploring Lake O'Hara all day. We were able to put our...

Visited in June and still needed a comforter to sleep with. A chill in the air at night. Good comfort food to fill your belly and a feather bed to keep you warm at night. A great place for a romantic gettaway

I can't say enough about this place. It's everything I look for in a remote mountain getaway. The rooms in the lodge are clean, quiet and comfortable; everything I need in a home away from home. I can take the chocolate from my pillow, crawl into my comfy bed and have the gentle hum of the rails and the swaying...

Not your big box hotel/motel with all rooms looking like all the others. For those of you who like to stay somewhere a little rough around the edges and with some personality -- this is for you :) Rather than the busy environments of Lake Louise, Banff or Canmore, Field has a great laid back vibe, ski trails, friendly residents...

On our drive along the Icefields in the Rockies, we went slightly off the main track to spend a night here. A very interesting, remote little village with passage of hugely long trains. The Truffle Pigs offers good accommodation, a good bar with fun ambience, and great food. Breakfast is good too, and the staff are all very friendly. Wifi...

Unfortunately I cannot review the rooms because our reservation was missed out and we ended up with no room to stay at the Truffle Pigs even though we were looking forward to it. The booking person whom we had emailed to confirm we will stay 1 night instead of the counteroffer did not note our final decision and had somehow...

My partner and I went to Truffle Pigs for our anniversary weekend of hiking and mountain adventures this year and we absolutely loved it. Great location, Dog (big dog) friendly rooms and property, and fantastic food coming out of the Bistro. Our only issue was that the heat wouldn't shut off at all no matter what we did. Luckily, it...

We stayed three nights at the Truffle Pigs Lodge in late Sept. Our room was furnished with two cushioned chairs, a small table, coffee maker, microwave, small frig., TV and two night stands. It had a good sized closet and coat hooks on the wall but there were only two medium sized drawers for storing clothes, see photos. Unfortunately, I...

Rooms were warm, clean and comfortable, but rather dated (brown and beige decor) and basic. No kettle. Welcome basket, no bargains. The location was an excellent base for the Yoho national park, especially the Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge, both must does, avoiding the more touristy locations. Personally, I was kept awake on the second evening by the trains, which...

This is a samll intimate hotel. When we stayed the TV was nit working because of some larger issues with the cable company in this remote village. Believe me, it did not spoil our stay as this place doesn't need TV. Look out the window. Surrounded by Yoho National park forests you feel nestled right up against the forest. The...
