Had a wonderful 3 night stay in a cozy and very comfortable updated cabin. As it was cool in the evening the heating provided by the gas "log burner" was very welcome. The service was excellent and the staff are very helpful. We had a great meal in the restaurant. The location is right on the river and the trip...

We stayed in a Premier Cabin for a couple of nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautifully decorated cabins, just right off Hwy1 on the way to Takakkaw Falls. The service was friendly, the location quiet also right next to the freeway and close-by train track, the setting next to the river gave it that special "touch". The guided hike led...

This has to be our favorite stay of our trip. I like it even more than the fairmont at lake Louise! The cabins are all luxuriously decorated with plush linens and bedding. Toiletries supplied by Aveda. All the luxuries expected of a 5-star hotel room is there. Plus the service from all the staff is amazing. The location is fabulous....

We loved it so much we went back to stay there coming back from Jasper. The service there is top notch, the log cabins are very updated and very nice, and the restaurant is excellent. It is a bit pricey but totally worth it. The location is right on the river and the Takkakaw Falls are very close by. I...

My wife and I had never even heard of Field. We found Cathedral Mountain Lodge on line and took a chance. Our only regret was we didn't stay for more nights. The food is terrific, the service is great, but the best, was the air. We closed our eyes and were immediately transported back 40 years in time and were...

I recently spent 1 night at Cathedral Mountain Lodge (CML) while on a small group hiking trip. CML is located NE of Field along the Kicking Horse River and near Takakkaw Falls. The property consists of a large main reception/dining building and numerous modern log cabins. These cabins contain 5 different configurations of guest accommodations, some with common walls and...

We stayed for 2 nights at the Resort in a DeLuxe King Cabin with gasfire place and we loved the cabin although you have limited to no space to store your bags. The cabins are close to each other but that did not botter us much. The staff is very friendly and helpfull and nothing is too much for them...

The service and food were phenominal. We arrived on a Thursday evening and Ceri set us up with our room, our hiking lunches for the following day and told us how we might still be able to do the Lake O'Hara hike without a reservation for the bus. We had a fabulous dinner and got lucky and were able to...

After a great day visiting the Stampede in Calgary my wife and I sought the solitude of the Rockies and we found it in the Cathedral Mountain Lodge. The cabins are first class and comfortable. The feel is rustic without TVs and cell coverage, but the amenities are wonderful. We took advantage of the many hiking trails in the Yoho...

But it depends on what you booked. We stayed there in June in a premier cabin with loft. Great location with view on the river. The cabin was extremely nice decorated and we enjoyed the fireplace, but also found that if anybody had to sleep in the loft, it would probably too hot. We did not have to use the...
