Such a great spot with beautiful views and beautiful cabins. We were able to have fires when we visited and this was amazing for the cool evenings and mornings in the fall. The owners re super friendly and create a great experience for everyone! There’s tons the area has to offer and I would go back any time I can! Cant say enough about this place! Don’t miss the sunrise view from your porch!
Beautiful location next to the Columbia wetlands! I've camped here and found the sites to be spacious and well placed, they have a really great playground that my kids enjoyed! We also stayed in the cabins, the beds are super comfortable and each cabin is equipped with the essentials. These cabins are powered by solar electricity and are 100% off grid. Really enjoyed the quiet mornings overlooking the wetlands sipping coffee made in the French press! Highly recommend!
By far the most magical campground I’ve ever had the pleasure to experience. All around breathtaking views and good vibes. I stayed in one of the beautiful log cabins and it instantly felt like home. Memories to last a life time!
Great location, wonderful views, relaxing environment and atmosphere. Camp sites are fairly large and well shaded with trees and natural shrubs offering some privacy. Outhouses were very clean, cold shower was not the greatest but really felt outdoorsy after that lol. Dish station was convenient but hot water would be helpful, and it is a shame that other users left a mess after doing their dishes. Personally I normally prefer provincial campgrounds, this place is now my favourite private campground!
My partner and I stayed in one of the eight log cabins for a 9 day visit. The cabins are so cute! We spent our mornings drinking coffee on the porch and taking in the breath taking view of the mountains and the wetlands. Then we spent our days enjoying all the area has to offer- hiking the hoodoos, mountain biking on the spirit trail, kayaking on the river, relaxing at the beach, hitting the hot springs, ziplining, going to the farmers market in Invermere and trying out a few of the restaurants in Windermere and Invermere. The Raven's Nest location was the perfect jumping off spot for us to start our adventures every day. We spent our nights barbecuing a great dinner and enjoying a drink around the fire before nestling into our super comfy bed and soft, warm duvet. The cabins have all the basics covered that you need for a stress free stay. The bathroom and hot shower is especially nice, just bring your own soap and shampoo. Our cabin had a ladder going up to the loft bedroom which wouldn't be for everyone but there are other cabins available with stairs instead. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and can't wait to come back!…
