I have always enjoyed staying here... Sad to see the original owners leave but the new owners are very pleasant and are maintaining the vibe of the place. They were very accommodating as it was the last minute book in and certainly recommend staying here and they are Still motorcycle friendly

Hotel's Favourite
We enjoyed our stay at Creston Valley Motel. The host was so friendly and helpful, we felt most welcome upon our check in. This is an old-school style motel that retains the charm of road travel of the 1960s; it reminded me of the places we would stay in when I was a child (in a good way!). Yet, it is very comfortable and very clean. Good wi-fi service. We had a nice little kitchenette and a living room area. There is a seating area outside and the motel is centrally located, so a very easy walk to restaurants and shops. I really appreciated the personal feel of this property, very different that the corporate sameness of chain hotels. I knew that our satisfaction really did matter to the operators. We were only here for a night on our travels on Crowsnest Highway. I would definitely recommend this motel for a nice stay!

Spent two nights here meeting friends from Calgary to ride motorcycles in the Kootnays over the Aug long weekend. Very clean and handy to downtown. The people at the front desk were EXCEPTIONALLY friendly and helpful. This will be my go to place to stay whenever I'm in Creston from now on.+++

We paid $170.00 for a room that was on the back alley. There were electrical cords hanging down all over the room. There were no hand towels, face clothes or bath mat in the room. The staff was helpful and gave us what we asked for however this should have been done in advance. I expected so much more from the price we were charged.

Response from Manager Creston Valley Motel, Owner at Creston Valley Motel
Responded Jun 2, 2023
We apologize for the inconvenience about the towels and we will make sure it will not happen again in your future visit. We have one extension cord for the air-conditioning near the desk and door but we are looking for better solution on that.

This is a wonderful motel. It is charming and feels like a motel from another, better time. Steve and Pat are welcoming hosts along with their son Luke and super friendly pup, Clover. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and clean. The rates are reasonable. I'm so glad I found this gem and have already booked another stay.

What a nice surprise, family run businesses are the best. Steve and Pat were super welcoming and their rustic little motel hit the spot after a long day on the road. A perfect place to kick back and relax... i hear the parking lot is a bit of a car show in the summer. Will be back again on our way through Creston.

The best little hidden gem of a motel. Locally owned, Ruth & Bill are the most accommodating hosts. The rooms are clean, extremely quiet, beds are SO comfy. Their summer patio is the best! Sit down, grab a cold one & chat with the hosts & other guests, you are family!!! Have stayed here over 30 times!!

Friendly owners. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was the bonus of having a kitchenette in the room with essential dishes. Small fridge and microwave as well. The room was very quiet at night. Highly recommend and would stay again.

We have been staying at this fine motel for on the order of 20+ years. The stays have always been restful, enjoyable and pleasant. We have visited on our motorcycles and by car and have always had a warm welcome and a great stay. Great location, easy walking to most places people want to visit. DJ
