This hotel is new, extremely clean and easy to arrive to. Really enjoyed the best air conditioning ever experienced in a room with the hot weather, a super comfy bed and hotel linens that felt and smelled like they came off Gramma's clothesline. Every staff member from the Owner and his son, Maintenance Manager Randy, GM Andrew and the guest service agents Serge, Paige and Gail everyone goes the extra mile here to give you that home away from home feeling. My entire family felt very comfortable and looked after during our stay! The grounds are beautiful with the view of the Purcell Mountains and walking trails one can find if you look. The entire Creston town with beaches nearby, farmer's market on the weekend was a joy to experience. I like to also mention I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and attention to detail required due to COVID-19, the staff are taking all necessary pre-cautions and still make you feel valued as a guest. Thank you Creston Ramada for an amazing weekend! I look forward to staying in the fall at my home away from home in the beautiful BC mountain valley.

The hotel is about 10-12 years old, I was told. Building: the premises are in very good condition. The lobby, hallways and room were very clean and orderly. Lots of parking although driving into the parking lot is sometimes congested because of a combination of road layout, concrete barriers and intermittent traffic for the restaurant next to the hotel. Overall it is very clean.
Service: it was a short stay for two nights and we were kept busy with visiting. So we didn’t engage the service staff as the room had no lack of supplies or other needs. On check in and out, staff were very friendly.
Location: for the Creston Valley, it is centrally located and just outside of the main downtown area, about a 5 minute drive away.
Highly recommend if in the area.

This hotel was very nice, clean, seemingly following Covid protocols well. Bed was very comfortable. No complaints about the hotel. However if you do a google Search of Ramada Creston there is site called guest reservations.com. Opening that site there in big letters It says Ramada Creston with a big photo. It looked to me like the direct hotel guest reservation system and there was a phone number so I called. (Much later Imdid notice in very small print n the website it said independent agency, so the mess that followed was my own carelessness but I want to warn others to be cautious. I was quoted $130 CAD fir a room and told there were only 2 rooms left so I booked it. When I was told the final charge I learned My actual total would Include taxes and fees of more than $42USD! Bringing my $130 CAD room up to about $181 CAD. The hotel front desk were very surprised and told me their records showed our price was $126.56. Plus tax that would be about $136CAD. Big difference! I will definitely be more careful in the future, but I would certainly never use this agency again and I hope the hotel might review their affiliation with them.

Overpaid from booking online and won’t go back to Ramada. It was for my son’s hockey tournament. It was very frustrating as I couldnt find the Creston hotel phone number so I had to book online. At first it was reasonable price at $174 but then at check out it added charges of cleaning fees and such. Over $73 in fees !?!? Also, train in middle of the night woke us all up as it was right beside it.

Nancy, I am so sorry that you were taken advantage of by HotelBeds. I am also very sorry that it has left a sour taste regarding our hotel. Please know that we have no control over this website and how they sell reservations. We do find that third party websites are very good at hiding their fees. Our hotel does not charge extra fees for a standard stay. Because you had prepaid HotelBeds for your room, our hotel did not charge your credit card anything (the $50 damage deposit was indeed released at check out). I understand the train is a separate issue, and I am sorry that it woke you up as it passed through. In the future, when seeking a telephone number for a business, try using yellowpages.ca I trust that your stay with us was comfortable, and that you found our staff to be warm and welcoming. We were looking forward to staying at this hotel because the young woman we spoke to when we made our reservation was so friendly and warm. However, the gentleman behind the desk when we arrived was much less so. Maybe he was having a bad day. The room was great - clean, comfortable beds, nicely decorated, quiet. We had everything we needed. What really disappointed us was the total lack of enforcement of covid protocols in the breakfast room and the poor quality of available breakfast items. They would be better to reduce room rate by $10 and not offer breakfast at all, as it just left us wondering about the covid protocols in the rest of the hotel. There were signs up asking guests to sanitize hands before touching the microwave, toaster, etc, but we didn’t see one person do that. The area where you pick up the food is small and was very crowded - no social distancing and no masks other than ours. We ended up leaving and getting breakfast else where. Overall, we would recommend this hotel in non covid times as the rooms location are great - definitely at least four star. We are sorry to not be able to enthusiastically recommend it during the pandemic.

Stayed two nights, but I guess they only clean the Rooms every 3 days due to staff shortage, so never got new towels, soap, shampoo or coffee ect. Definitely not worth the price if not receiving any services. If you can’t provide services due to no staff the price should reflect that. For $180 a night we won’t be back.

Our housekeeping staff will still do a restock and tidy of your room each day if it's requested, they just don't do full cleans until the 3rd day of your stay. Very poor, continental breakfast was laughable. Bathroom was not clean. Cleanining staff only on every 3rd day and booking online is a rip off and hotel knows about it and doesn’t seem to care as they say they are getting paid regardless. So oh well.

In the booking process, the site automatically redirects to the nearest franchise. This resulted in a reservation not intended for the Crestin location. The hotel was contacted within 5 minutes of the booking and the oversight was explained. They indicated that their policy states 48 hrs cancellation, absolutely no excuses or exceptions. While this is not the first time an error like this has been made, it is definitely the first time I have experienced management being completely unforgiving. As technology and processes are not flawless, it is apparent that the policy of the Ramada allows its management to take advantage of honest mistakes. And they most certainly do. Also, the breakfast was terrible.

Nothing to get excited about but generally clean and quiet for a night stay. I would likely stay closer to downtown next time as it is a exploring type of little town full of treasures. Although buffet breakfast is included, we don't partake in those due to Covid-19 (even though we are completely vaccinated).

We enjoyed our stay at this fine hotel in the charming city of Creston. This hotel is not downtown, but is at the junction of Highway 3 and 3a, and just a short drive into town. Our room on the top floor had a high ceiling which made the spacious room feel even bigger and airy. We enjoyed the photography art throughout the hotel. Our room was very clean but found the TV channel selection a bit limited, missing commercial-free stations. The bed was very comfortable. The complementary breakfast was continental, buffet-style (no hot options), and the toasters didn't work as well as we would have expected. Cold hard boiled eggs and yogurt were in the fridge, though. Next time we're in this area, we'd stay here again in a flash!
