The Cranberry Manor is a very nice place. Breakfast both days was awesome. The room was very comfortable. The decor isn't really what I would choose, but I knew that ahead of time, and it is really a very minor point. Perhaps the only drawback was that given the proximity of the house to the main road through town, there is a bit of noise from the street (if the window is left open), but not enough that it wasn't masked by the fan on the AC unit.

In June 2005, my husband and I were graciously welcomed at this lovely heritage bed and breakfast home in the small town of Creston, tucked away in the Kootenay Valley of British Columbia. The home had been amazingly refurbished in period style of the early 1920s. There were three large bedrooms, each uniquely decorated, a large sitting room with television, and a common bathroom on the second floor. There was also an attic bedroom. A large updated kitchen, and beautifully decorated living room and dining room were on the main floor. The breakfast choices included homestyle whole grain bread for toast, bacon, pancakes, eggs done a variety of ways, yogurt, and fresh fruit and juice served in stemmed glasses. The dining room table was even set with lit candles! Tracy our hostess was also very accommodating about our breakfast serving time which was great as we had plans for golf that morning. This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast and we were so pleased with our stay. We highly recommend the Cranberry Manor at [-----------]

Easy to recommend this 4 guest-room B&B based on a one night stay last week. Located right on Highway 3 so easy to find, close to cafes and shops but also a bit noisy from traffic thru the night. Spectacular views of the Creston Valley. Comfortable, spotlessly clean. Quirky, interesting furnishings and decor of locally collected, historically-interesting pieces. Hostess/owner Tracy was charming, helpful and cooked up a fine hot breakfast from a lengthy menu of choices.

I felt inspired to write a review on this lovely place. When you feel taken care of in every way, it is easy to pass on a recommendation. Where to start? The owners, Tracy and Wayne, are the most welcoming of hosts. Tracy's smile and generosity helps you to immediately feel relaxed and ready to enjoy your time with them. Visually, the heritage home is a pleasure. Much care and time has gone into restoring the home and filling it with period decor and finishing. It is like stepping into that era but without the fussiness that usually comes with so many treasures in one spot. You feel welcome to enjoy it as a home for your time there.
The beds are fantastic and I slept well for the three nights. Obviously, Tracy and Wayne, have splurged in their choice of mattresses and this makes such a difference to your stay. The bed is beautiful to look at but also to get into and enjoy the luxurious sheets and comfort. Lastly, it wouldn't be a complete review without mentioning the breakfasts. Not only was the food delicious but each plate was decorated with fresh flowers and other little touches that showed the effort Tracy makes with all that she does to make a stay memorable. I was there for business but would return for the pleasure of staying at Cranberry Manor again.

Tracy and Wayne have done a fabulous job of renovating this 100 year old house. The furnishings are spot on and so well curated that you forget you are in a B & B and feel like you are in a museum but it's to comfortable to be a museum. It's a perfect blend and the hosts are so warm and accommodating that you feel at home right away. Tracy was spot on with her recommendations on where to have dinner and how to get to the community center. We stayed here once years ago and we were awed then and that continues. So well done! Thank you for another amazing stay.

Tracy and Wayne have done an excellent job in renovating this 100 year old home overlooking the Creston flats. We have stayed in many renovated period homes and castles around the world . Two stand out for us: Charlottes Rose in in Charlottetown, PEI and Cranberry Manor in Creston, BC. This home is very clean, the rooms quite large, the breakfasts excellent and the host and hostesses very welcoming and generous with their time in explaining the history of the renovations. ( In the interest of full disclosure, my Mom grew up in this home). Saying that I couldn’t imagine better caretakers of this house. Thanks very much for the 3 night stay.

Beautifully decorated Victorian home (and I mean REALLY decorated - every nook and cranny), close to restaurants, with a wonderful view of the Creston Valley.
Top drawer bedding and linens, very comfy. Great attention taken to all the little extras that will make your stay perfect. Breakfast by candlelight was outstanding.
Tracy is a warm open person an amazing hostess, and it was a pleasure to visit with her.

This is an idyllic Victorian themed B&B in Creston British Columbia - a one off. We wallowed in the luxury of the loft suite and it easily surpassed any of the hotels we stayed in on our Canadian holiday this year. There is a warm welcome, a hearty breakfast and the attention to detail is second to none. We spent lots of time just walking around the house admiring the beautiful antiques and for just a few hours we felt part of the family and the home Tracey and Wayne have created for their guests. (They live off site). We hope to be back soon, especially now that we have made contact with the Canadian side of our family in the area, thanks in no small part to Tracey! Thank you.

We had the pleasure of staying overnight at the Cranberry Manor while taking a trip to the coast. This is a beautifully restored home. It is decorated to a "tee" with all the pieces suited perfectly to the time period. A real treat if you're into older period homes. Tracy was very accommodating and easy to talk to, also her breakfast was amazing. It's extremely well kept inside and out with a very nice yard area. Great value!! We would highly recommend the Cranberry Manor if you will be visiting Creston.
