Excellent hotel.. restaurant is superb too. Staff professional and friendly. Small drawback was weather required snow removal at 2am and noise outside did disturb my sleep (3rd floor). Trivial mentions: could use a lounging chair in room and I prefer fitted sheet
I have been staying at the Mortagne since it was new. The dining room, menu, bar, food and staff are all wonderful. The newer section features rooms with mini-living rooms and modern amenities. I love the Nespresso machine and the large vanity. The separate toilet room offer privacy for couples and the glass shower offer none at all, much to the delight of some guests I am sure! Plenty of hot water and a very responsive thermostat! I stay there twice a year while visiting my grandchildren and never have considered any other hotel in the area.
A wonderful hotel!!! Very nice and modern!!! Never seen a room so clean in my entire life!!!! Bravo to the cleaning lady!!!! There's been a mistake with the kind of room we wanted, but it has been solved quickly and beyond what we had expected!!!! A little bit expensive but it is worth it We highly recommand!!!
Nice hotel, very clean, looks very nice, rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, beds are good. The hotel as a hotel is a four star, sadly their restaurant brings that down. The food on the dinner menu is bloody awful, and we stayed there for four nights trying most dishes on the menu, sadly. And yes, it is the definition of insanity, but we tried. Very low quality, the chicken was cold, tasted boiled, the Cod was just terrible tasting, burgers, etc. Overall, a nice place to sleep, just don't even think of having dinner.
Stayed with a business event. Great rooms. Staff were amazing. Large accessible parking lot. Was a great experience. Rooms and entire hotel was very clean. Lots of elevators to access the different wings so despite being a big group little wait for elevators.
Your hotel was excellent and the staff were 5 star . Breakfast was great however your dinner menu needs improvement, and I was disappointed with my choice, the lobster bisque was very not appetizing. No lobster and too much pasta. I had 2 cousins staying at the hotel and they had the same opinion . I found the fan in the room to be noisy and was unable to turn it off.
They were confident, knowledgable, and happy to serve us in English. They eagerly helped us with our route to the Metro. The only thing that I would have appreciated is a fan in the washroom. Our stay was quite enjoyable.
Super clean hotel in all places: lobby, elevator, parking area, and the rooms. Long check in process, the entire team cares more about enforcing their policy than practices active listening. When I asked for the supporting document of incidental charges of $50 CAD, the general manager, Danielle, was unwilling and asked me, "only $50 CAD! why made such a big deal?" I replied it matters, $50 here and another $50 there can add up quickly. She seems to be emotional unstable. Because soon after that, she looked over my account, spoke French to her staff and director, Natalie, and raised her voice by yelling at me saying, "We need your address!" She walked away. All eyewitnesses including other guests in line were stunned and speechless. I was not upset but felt this is not the type of management I wanted to work or deal with long term. Aside from the slow check in and bad attitudes from the team including Danielle the manager, the room itself was clean, where I tipped double for housekeeping.…
I was there for a business conference. The staff were great, spoke English for many of us that needed it. The service in general was great. The room was pleasant, clean and full of amenities with some interesting lighting features. I was very impressed at how large the room was. If I had to criticize anything, it would be the at the Sens Restaurant. Our first night there, we go in late and we wanted to have dinner so ended up at Sens. To me, the menu seemed a bit limited. One of my colleagues was also limited to the type of food he could eat and other than a salad, there was no chicken dish on the menu. This surprised me. I love chicken myself. So we asked if the chef could prepare something with chicken that was not a salad. The answer was “No”, so my friend did not have dinner with the rest of us. Went to his room and ordered Uber Eats. Definitely not customer focused. Even I could have gone into the kitchen and prepared a tastey chicken and pasta dish (we suggested this) as I know they had both ingredients. That was very disappointing. This actually ruined our evening of spending time with our colleagues. …
I booked 3 nights while I visited Montreal for the first time. The room was very clean with good smell when we entered. The staff warmly welcome us and they spoke English, so no language barrier at all. The only thing I had the room services didn’t come to clean the garbage and when I asked the women who cleaned the other room in same floor she informed me to contact the reception first. This wasn’t big issue for me that’s why I didn’t contact the receptionist. I will back to same hotel next summer.
