I used to party at this hotel when I was a teen and I was surprised that the decor of the place had not changed 30 years later. Not even joking. The room had doiley's ever wheres and a stuffed rabbit craft as a decoration in addition to broken chairs for furniture. The bathroom was all green just like I remember lol I couldn't help but be disappointing that they would not feel the need to put a few dollars into these rooms to make it at least presentable. With the low cost of some furniture, They could easily update 1 room at a time. I did feel safe in the area but did not end up spending the night as it just looked too creepy. :( It would be better than sleeping on the street but I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here but if you are not fussy, It did serve its purpose and was extremely cheap. …

I stayed here in 2013 - it was a last minute booking and they accommodated us with short notice which was great! It's a motel and reasonable priced - our expectations were not high. Plus it is in an area surrounded by farms, which was great because I'm a runner and got a scenic route. BUT - we were given the last room left - when facing the motel it's the farthest room to the left. I've never been able to find info on it being haunted online, but my boyfriend at the time and I both saw the same thing at different parts of the night when the other was asleep. I saw a cloaked shadow figure across the room - I stared thinking my eyes just needed to adjust, but it only got clearer, disappearing when the light came on. My partner experienced the old hag with the same description of a shadow figure floating over him on the bed. Makes me wonder if it has anything to do with the history in there area of Esther Cox and that poltergeist. If anyone has info or a similar experience I would love to hear it!…

after I left my review, today 2 days later, my pillow arrived by UPS. I take it all back. She came through and boxed it and shipped it to me here in that states. She came through and did what we asked her to do. We even called and heard she was not doing well-car accident, yest she sent the pillow

See above.....Stole our expensive pillow, poor guest service. So easy to mail it to me. Grouchy owner. She could gain business by being nice and getting good feed back. Told her I would pay for shipping plus extra tip

Even tho the furniture was dated the people were most friendly and welcoming here. I would recommend to stay here. It's only a place to sleep and to carry on with your adventure type of place. Gloria is so nice and friendly made us feel welcome.

Far from being a great place to stay... Would start by saying that rooms are dark, cold and humid. Most definitely the worst Wi-Fi i used in my life and the heating system in the rooms is not working correctly, half of time towels are full of stains....at all. they clean the rooms but it is not on a regular base. good for workers but if travelling for other reasons avoid the place. at least they try.

Appears to be a family run outfit. Friendly and helpful. Room was clean, but decor was dated. Renovations are in progress. Quiet, for being right on the main road. Didn't see a restaurant. Good deal for the price.

we stayed there three times and had a very nice stay there they treated us with respect and they aloud us to have our cats to stay there without a charge the beds where very comfortable and the rooms where very clean we would highly recommend anyone to stay there we plan on staying there in april for a week

All the other hotels were full so we stayed here. The rooms are very dated and not very clean or well maintained.
