Late August overnight stay at the Ramada featured a freshly-painted second floor room and seamless checkout. There is always ample parking at this Ramada. The highlight is always the friendly greetings from staff members.

We stayed in two rooms and all four of us woke up stuffy from the dry heat in the rooms. When we checked in the lobby smelled like a cannabis grow room (quite strong). Breakfast options were yogurt, toast and cereal so we went out for breakfast which is a shame because they have a really nice breakfast area.

The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The room was adequate with the usual amenities; free wifi, TV, some toiletries and a coffee pot in the room. The continental breakfast was also adequate; toast, bagels, muffins and a waffle maker. Nothing special, but nice not to have to go to a restaurant, which wasn't an option for us, as we had our dog with us and wouldn't leave her in the room or unattended in our car.

100% avoid, go two more blocks and stay at super 8. We went through 100 Mile House late night July 29 2020 and needed a place to sleep. After a google search we found a name we trusted in Ramada and Called ahead and yes they had a room, great right?

When we got there at 11:30 pm we were greeted by the night clerk who seemed pleased to tell us the room would be a few minutes because the bed sheets had some spots on them so they were changing them for us!

Awesome right? NOT!

Put on guard we asked to see the room before we committed and found nothing but filth. I was a wee bit irritated when my wife said "Sorry" before saying we would pass, because actually we had nothing to be sorry about, that was disgusting

I stayed one night on my way up to Prince George. There were some positives: clean linen, WiFi good, TV worked, young woman at desk in the morning was helpful. It was quiet. Another customer helped me carry my suitcase up to the 3rd floor (no elevator). Now the concerns: I booked online based on TripAdvisor's ratings so prepaid the cost, even though I thought that was unusual. There was an extra reservation fee. (see pic of invoice). When I drove up I was taken aback at how rundown and dirty the outside was. Inside the hallways were filthy. The door to my room was unlocked and open when I got to it. The other customer said he would wait to make sure all was okay. It was. The in-room coffee maker was sketchy, a socket plate was hanging off the wall, the paint job on the walls was sloppy and although the room seemed reasonably clean, I wondered. In the morning there was no coffee at the breakfast nook and there were bread products and a few pieces of fruit. The woman at the desk, who was also trying to do laundry to help housekeeping, apologized and quickly made a fresh pot. The hotel was fully booked and I got the impression the staff was scrambling to manage. I stayed in Clinton on my way back home at the Cariboo Lodge, that is old but is still being maintained nicely, the service and food are good and it is cheaper.

When I checked in at 6pm I was surprised that my room and seemingly every room on the same floor were still being cleaned. After I grabbed dinner about an hour later the rooms were finished cleaning however it was clear that the cleaning had been rushed. The floor was not fully vacuumed, one of the beds was slightly dirty under the sheets still, the shower was not fully cleaned and there was weird cruft basically everywhere else I looked.

The room itself was also a bit bizarre. The bathroom is so small it can't fit the sink so that's out in the hall. The electrical plugs were poorly planned for modern needs and I clearly was not the first person to need to unplug other items to plug my laptop / phone in.

Be warned there is no elevator for those with mobility issues. The only real upside was that the WiFi internet was a solid 100 up, 100 down. But overall even if the cleanliness issues were resolved they are overcharging for the room.

It took a long time to check in because there was no one around. There is an old RV in the back parking lot we think the staff was working on ? Room rate was the only decent thing. Could tell house keeping was lagging and even the lamps were unplugged (to save on hydro?) had a jetted tub but the hot water didn’t quite get hot enough. No shampoo (oversight as I don’t think they have housekeepers). Upon checking in the staff told us what “should” be in the room as far as linens but explained they were “behind with laundry”. In the morning we couldn’t eat the breakfast. Juice was so watery, anything else looked as if it had sat for hours. Yogurt wasn’t even sitting in ice to keep cool. We even joked about sneaking into the Super 8 for their continental. Sadly we won’t be back. Only thing good was the room rate.

It was full so we got stuck with the hot tub room for $130, which is $180 after fees, taxes. Guys at the front desk are friendly but can barely speak English, communication is an issue. Our room looked and smelled run down, however seemed clean. They advertise complimentary breakfast but it was terrible. We got down at 7 and nothing was there accept some stale bagels, yogurt, and really, really bad coffee. They had the make your own waffle machine, but it had no cups, was supper dirty. Will never stay here again if I can help it.

Sooo gross!! Whatever you do save your money stay at one of the small motels in this town do not go to this hotel!!! My husband and I checked in trusting the Ramada name, and from the moment we stepped in I knew I had made a mistake especially for paying in advance. From the moment we walked in all I could see was dirt. When we went to our room we walked into the bathroom which I found odd but again right away the sink was disgusting, we needed ice so I asked for an ice bucket they were surprised to hear I didn’t have one. When I open the fridge to put some of our stuff in I found the ice bucket along with ice inside the fridge obviously whoever cleaned the room didn’t bother to clean it properly. I handed the young man the ice bucket. He went away to get us ice because their ice machine was broken, when he came back he handed me the ice we went ahead and use the ice only to realize he hadn’t change the bag and there was a dead fly in the bottom. I began to look around the room and take pictures because I was astonished at the disgusting dirtiness of it. When we went to bed, no word of a lie, no exaggeration, we were sticking to the sheets they were so dirty. We would’ve left but we already paid for the night and needed to rest our heads. Partway through the night my husband had to kill a spider that was crawling on him. At 5:30 AM I woke up to a great big black spider crawling on me, that was it we left I couldn’t take it anymore. I trusted the name of the corporation, my bad. I have however written to them directly about what a shame it is that this place is destroying the name and trust that we once had.

It was awful. Dirt and stains everywhere! The bedsheets had stains and hairs on it. Disgusting. The provided shampoo was already open and almost empty. We were very unhappy with our stay and would never come back again to stay there. It was very loud also. For the breakfast they did not even forceps to grab the food, everyone touched everything by their hands.
