I really enjoyed my short stay here. The staff were good and although the decor was very dated, it was clean and everything worked well. I especially enjoyed the animal toweling! The only issue was with the amount of light coming through the curtains. Otherwise it was good.

On our road trip, this was the cheapest price we paid -- $85 + tax for one night.( I mention this because one motel we stayed at was dingy and old--we were too tired to go any further - and they charged the same as the Best Western we had stayed at the night before $120.) The 110 Mile Motel had a small fridge and a freezer larger than in any other hot/motel we stayed-- free wifi, a Keurig coffee maker with tea and coffee, nice TV, 2 queen beds, good mattress, bright with large front window, a small back window with screen as well as a window in the bathroom. The bathroom had some updates and the room was clean. There was heat but no A/C (not often required in this area) but there was a fan.

The motel is located on the highway - very convenient for us -- and there is ample parking in front of each unit. It is a one-storey motel.

I'm sure the other units are fine as well but I was in unit 2 and that is what I am describing. It was a good stay!

We were in town to vend at the garlic festival. The rooms were very clean and had everything u would need. They went the little extra mile folding the towels into cute figures which made it feel special. We felt welcomed and at home. We stayed in room 5 and the bathtub was fabulous to use our handmade B’s Bath bathbombs in. The only thing I wish is that the beds and pillows were a little newer and more comfortable. But for the price it is a great value!!! It was perfect for our needs.

The family was travelling from Fort St. John to Vernon and we weren’t going to make it in one day. As we didn’t know how early we would get a head start, we didn’t book ahead. Turns out that’s a bad plan before the long weekend and everything was booked from Kamloops to 100 mile house. Then we found this motel and we were able to secure two rooms. We didn’t know what to expect because last year during the fires we stayed in a very sketchy motel in Kamloops as everyone was evacuated and rooms were scarce. But when we walked into this room it smelled nice. There were towel figures on the beds and bathroom. The windows were open and the fan was on which helped as it was a plus 30 C day. Honestly I was not excited about this place without AC but I would totally recommend it to anyone after staying here. They welcomed us with polite guest service and walked us through everything. The place is clearly well taken care of and the naysayers should decide before staying how important the AC is because everything else is great.

I was just ending a 17 day motorcycle ride from Vancouver Island to Dawson City and return, this was my last hotel/motel stay. It was by far the best of the best. It covered all bases, reasonably priced, very clean, well updated, comfortable bed, fantastic internet, the tv channel package one of the best I have seen in years at a motel, the cute little characters folded from the towels on the bed and in the bathroom were a nice touch. When I arrived the outside temp was 35C/ 95F, I was initially concerned as the motel doesn't have A/C but the owner assured me it wouldn't be an issue and it wasn't. I would stay here again for sure!

100 Mile Motel is center of town, excepts disabled people WITH dogs and smoking! and we are in the center court, the non smoking & pets are the 2 side rows, in back an RV. park Great . My grandson and I did a trip and stoppped there, Shawn & Michelle made me feel safe and comfortable, then hubby & I were heading home I called for a reservation and Michelle remembered me and my love for coffee knowing I'm disabled she had a coffee maker in our room(you can get wonderful fancy coffee all you want at office) and was greeted with a towel made into a dog on the bed (like on a cruise ship) and you have a flat screen tv ,CLEAN room fridge and your pocket book isn.t broken. highways dept, hydro, and many others should support a family business long before the chains (I made the same mistake and was never treated so well) as by Shawn & Michelle !!!!!! we do the trip up north 2-3 times a year and will be back there every trip, alone or with family groups

I booked a deluxe wing room which was all good. I must say their air-conditioning was working really well and the bathroom was very clean. Their LCD flat screen tv was an experience at its best, and i enjoyed their full size washroom too. Not only was this hotels' service superb but the people who work here made sure that our stay will be at its best.

If you book at this hotel - they have a 30 day cancellation policy and are very rigid about sticking to it. Once they have your credit card number - if you cancel with less than 30 days notice - expect that they WILL charge you for the room.
They didn't tell me about the 30 day policy and then basically called me a liar when I complained about being charged for a room cancelled the week before. When I called them about the charges they quoted the "innkeeper's policy" at me.
100 Mile House is a friendly little community, so I was very surprised at the attitude of this motel.

Response from shawn b, Owner at 100 Mile Motel and RV Park
Responded Jun 26, 2013
Ms Marshall booked 6 rooms for a NCLGA convention in May of 2012 on Dec 12 2011. The entire small village of 100 Mile House was sold out for this event. We gave her a 30 day cancellation notice which is standard in the Industry for a large block of rooms for multiple nights. Ms Marshall then cancelled 3 of the rooms a week before the convention, so we said if we could rent those rooms prior to the event we would not charge her for them, and we did which we were under no obligation to do. Then out of the 3 rooms left on her reservation only one of them showed up, so we had two NO SHOWS. We charged her one night for each of the two NO SHOWS and proceeded to cancel the rest of the reservation. The bill for the NO SHOWS was $65 plus tx for each room. Ms Marshall was not happy about the NO SHOW charge and tried to bully us with her government position, it did not work. For 6 months we at the 100 Mile Motel & RV Park couldnt take resevations for that week due to this convention. We have a standard 24 hr cancellation policy for a one night, single room reservation, a 48 hr for a room for multiple night reservation and anywhere from a one week to a one month cancellation policy for a large block of rooms for multiple nights for an event inwhich our small Village of 100 Mile House is completely booked for months in advance. We understand Ms Marshall was not happy with our decission but she should really be unhappy with the people inwhich she reserved those rooms for and did not show up. We would not be in business very long if we allowed people to walk away from reservations with there being no charge. If Ms Marshalls people showed up for the reservation and we did not have the rooms for them I am sure Ms Marshall would be very upset with us knowing the Village of 100 Mile House was completely sold out.

2 RV's traveling from Florida to Alaska. Stayed one night. Ad said it was big rig friendly. It is not. Ripped off my rock guard exiting. Tough to get in as well if you are towing. Owner was rude and annoyed, "you must be from the States" was his typical response to everything. Please don't stop here if you are from the States and especially if you have a 40' or larger and are towing. Apparently he does not like US dollars.

May, really that was 8 months ago and I'm supposed to remember these people, but regardless we here in Canada treat everyone with respect and manners unless being treated badly first, then we respond appropriately. First of all we are big rig friendly. We have 4 pull throughs that are 80+ ft long and 35 ft wide, our back in sites fit any unit up to 45 ft. We have 3 45 ft rigs in our park right now in December. I have many American friends as well as my sister is American and living in US. The only reason I would have known they were from the US would be there accent. Once again we have 2 driveways and when you exit the park there is a sign that directs RVers which way to go and if they CHOOSE to exit the wrong way, yes there is a steep driveway that can be difficult if you dont exit patiently. And most RVers with big units tent to rush when entering or exiting because they don't allow them enough time and space needed. Thats maybe why truck drivers have to be trained to drive a unit that size. Oh and by the way I love money, US dollars or whatever
