started by them saying the rate in the ad was the winter rate and they forgot to change it. Tonight i had the worse motel experience of my life, and in 34 years of trucking there has been the odd bad one for sure but tonight's is one for the books ! I checked into the Imperial motel in 100 mile house just after 930 pm .I paid for my room and the second i got into the room there what looked to be a large wet spot just inside the door so i checked and it was dry and rather a big stain from a previous animal.i didnt want to be blamed and / or charged so i called the front desk immediately to let them know and asked if they would come see so i wouldnt have future surprises on my credit card after i leave accusing my dog of this.the girl at the front desk so its ok the housekeeper knows.she didn't have time to talk to anyone so now im assuming maybe she's the housekeeper.this was no big deal. Then i went into the bathroom to have a long awaited soak in the tub only to see all the enamel gone from most of the bottom if the tub and the mat i tried to cover it with was totally disgusting. At this point i resigned to just having a shower so i grabbed a towel off the rack only to find a huge hole in the wall behind it. There was a big ugly brown stain on the floor beside the garbage can under the counter and the heat shield on the floor register was mostly rusted. Someone had taken the microwave off the counter and put it on the bar fridge right in front of the air conditioner and whoever cleaned (?????) the room neglected to put it back. There was also a golf ball sized hole in the middle of the ceiling between the beds. I called the front desk and asked the girl to come see all this as this was way too shabby for what i had paid (just over $100 with taxes). She frowned at everything i showed her and she offered to give me 50% off.i said the place is disgusting and now with being after 10pm all the other small hotels arent accepting guest and only the big expensive one was open she agreed to a full refund and would let me stay till the morning as i was leaving early anyway. About half an hour later she called my room and told me she had told the owner what had happened and he said that i had to leave right away leaving me with no place to go at 11 pm. So here i am at.almost 3am writing this in my truck sitting in Quesnel where i am going to have to sleep until i can pickup a trailer in the morning. I have never been treated like thi9s in my life when i paid for a service and showed them how badly they didnt provide the service. Way to go Imperial Motel in 100 mile house! Ive included pictures

I have stayed here many times over the years for work and I always found the place to be acceptable. Its clearly a older place that has had very little done to update or maintain the building. The thermostat does let you set the correct temperature, I have it set to 5 degrees and its roasting in here. The tub does not drain properly while showering. The kitchenettes pots and pans are disgusting. I am a simple creature, I slept well in the bed and each room has its own router so the wifi was good. I have a soft spot for the old place but it really needs a update soon or it should burn.

Unfortunately we had no choice but to stay at this motel for two nights as there were no other vacancies in other hotels. Our room was not at all cleaned. There was hair all over the bedding. The window was smashed in and they taped some plastic over it. The dead bolt was busted so we could only use the lock on the door handle. The floors had obviously not been vacuumed for a very long time. There were ripped up pieces of tissue beside the bed on the floor and mud all over the carpet. The ceiling consists of smeared dead bugs. Nothing in the bathroom was cleaned either. The walls and doors are no longer white, but brown from not ever being wiped. The owners obviously put no money into the upkeep of this motel, and have the lowest of cleaning standards ! After reading a lot of the same type of reviews from a while back, I see that the owners don’t care much to improve things people have complained about !! Very disappointed. Lesson learned the hard way, next time will book way ahead of time at a nice hotel, I will never stay at the Imperial in 100 mile house again !

These reviews are normally for people who have experienced a stay at this facility. I had booked a one-night stay for Friday, October 4th well over three weeks ago. I was advised to book early as the town was going to be busy with a tournament. Yesterday I receive an e-mail that the facility is overbooked and that I had been bumped. The management states that they tried phoning me numerous times to reconfirm that I was staying with them, but a pizza location was answering. They had an error of one digit in my phone number. Finally they connected with me through both e-mails that I had left with them, advising me that my booking was cancelled as they could not reach me to confirm. Be cautious of booking with this facility.

Very friendly staff but that's the end of the good news! Stains on the carpet and bedding, lights not working, big holes in the shower walls, stains in the sink and tub, and somehow this was rated 3 stars! feel completely ripped off, was a busy weekend and would have gone anywhere else but had no choice but to stay, never took off my sandals the whole weekend including in the shower!!!
