Had a Breakfast meeting on Saturday February 8, 2020. The meal was prompt hot and very delicious. My client was very satisfied and pleased with the restaurant. I bring clients here quite often as I do with my family. Meals are just like home cooked meals and the service is tops.

First of all I have to say I hate having to work In whitecourt because the hotels suck , the traffic is bad and crime is bad in the parking lots, and there really isn't any outstanding restaurants but this time I tried a new hotel that i've never tried and I was pleased with a decent rate ,a clean room ,and amazing tv with all the channels even hbo i'll definately stay here again

I regularly stay at the Green Gables Inn when I am in Whitecourt for work. It is always clean, and fairly quiet, beds are comfortable and rooms are a nice (large) size. Front desk staff are courteous and helpful.
Some rooms have small kitchens - which are basic (small fridge, two stovetop elements, microwave, toaster, sink and dishes).

We actually stopped in for lunch, it was very empty, and the bar was unmanned, we actually had to look for someone to serve us. The food was delicious, but the service was slow, and there were 5 of us. It is smaller than what I remembered, but it was cozy. The only complaint is slow service and a little mix up with the order.

Not a planned stop over. We got grounded due to weather in our path, so had no choice but to stay in whitecourt. Asked around and everyone i talked to said green gables inn is really nice. Just checked in. Nice staff, very quiet, very affordable (not like taxi ride from the airport) and CLEAN! Hard to come by nowadays. I would stay here again for sure!

We stayed at Green Gables 2 nights in June/July. It's a "motel style" inn on Whitecourt's main highway. The rooms are set back, so highway sounds are minimal. Our room was basic, with 2 queen beds (we were travelling with a child), but had everything we required. A fridge, stove, microwave, kitchen sink, dishes and a few cooking pots. The bathroom had a tub and shower.
Everything here gives you the impression that the owners take pride in the establishment. There is a small assortment of pastries, coffee, fruit and juice available in the foyer each morning. (This is NOT "breakfast," but is more than we expected at this price.) Cookies are in a jar nearby.
If you're travelling through Whitecourt, this would be a great place to stay overnight, or for a few nights. We did not try the restaurant at this facility, but we understand it has great reviews and extended hours.

There are several of the major or minor hotel chains in Whitecourt, but I always stay in the Green Gables. It is friendly, clean and has a great restaurant attached. I have been going there for over 15 years and the quality is consistent.

This place has had awesome food for a long time. Great bang for your buck. The mens washroom is a joke unfortunately. I recommend the back bacon and eggs for breakfast and the hot Turkey dinner for supper.

we always stay here because its quiet, building is cinder block construction and one floor only, so you hear nothing, staff is friendly always, restaurant is attached and offers a good selection of food.

I am a frequent traveler and I stay in all types of hotels, mostly chains. But when I go to Whitecourt, I always stay in the Green Gables. The rooms are traditional, but up - to - date, clean, quiet and well laid out.
WiFi works well, TV selection is interesting, bathroom is clean. I used to try a few of the other places here, but I will stick with Green Gables now.
