Overall great place to stay. Room was clean and well put together. We stayed in an older room (I believe some are renovated) but even in this room it was a great stay. They provide a breakfast in the morning. Very tasty! Rooms provide lots of privacy and staff was very friendly:) would reccomend if you are needed a place to stay on a budget.

The room was clean, the staff is above and beyond helpful and friendly! The breakfast is definitely the best hotel breakfast. Real bacon and actual fresh-cut fruit.
I was there for work and had all the amenities of home. The price is fantastic. They are in the process of renovating and upgrading the rooms as well.

The renovated rooms are sparsely decorated, however they are very clean and well maintained. The air conditioning units are also brand new and worked well. With a free breakfast at the smittys next door, it is worth a look.

Spent a weekend at this hotel and was blown away by the excellent customer service. The rooms are a bit outdated but very clean. All of the staff were more than helpful!!
The complimentary breakfast was more than just a continental breakfast. They provided custom ordered eggs and waffles.
I really appreciated the security around the parking lot. When we stayed in Whitecourt last year (at a different hotel), we had our vehicle broke into. I felt comfortable because of all the security camera's and the 24/7 monitoring.
We will indefinably book here next year for the snowmobile rally.

I stayed here a year ago and decided to stay again. As with the first stay (June 2020), the staff are amazing, the room is clean, and well supplied. It’s on the warm side, but is also pet friendly. Plus, a continental breakfast to take with me!
Excellent price and they don’t gouge you for having a pet.
Close to all amenities and quiet. It’s not a 5-star, but clean and comfortable. Great deal for your money. I’ll stay here each time I travel through.

Wow this place was great! My friends and I stayed here as a stopover en route to Vancouver. The price was very affordable and room was clean and comfortable. Check in at front desk was very quick and staffs were friendly. Also, Free breakfast at Smitty's was awesome!!! If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely stay here again. Thank You!!! :))

my family and I stayed here and we couldn't have been more satified by the quality of the rooms for the price.

I was looking for an affordable place to stay in Whitecourt when I stumbled upon the Renford Inn.
I don't know what the complaints are all about.. their service was excellent, the room was big and clean and best of all it's very affordable.
They said their rooms were recently renovated and what a huge difference it made judging by looking at old pictures of this place.
I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
You also get free breakfast at Smitty's which is an added bonus

This is probably the best motel I've ever been to! They give you free hot and delicious breakfast and their staff are very kind! The rooms are newly renovated and comfy. The location was excellent and I totally recommend staying here!

My family stayed one night on August 26. We arrived at late night with fatigue from long driving trip but the receptionist made our family happy with nice and quick check in process. Our room was very clean and bathroom had no stinky chemical smell. Especially I was very impressed by the new and clean bedclothes. It was very tender and cozy. I also had a sound sleep with a very quite environment.
