Communications were great prior to arrival & the person I was e-mailing was very accommodating with our ever-changing schedule. Upon arrival we discovered it was actually a long-term mobile home park with 3 small, gravel pitches for visiting trailers/campers and not really a camp site at all. There is very little privacy other than a low fence between pitches & you are surrounded by the residents. There was a table in 2 of the temporary pitches but not the third. There were no fire pits in any of them. The facilities were closed during our visit due to a major renovation project so I can't review them. The site was very quiet & very clean & tidy. The lady who acted as the guest host was lovely , she was very friendly, warm & helpful. This site is super-convenient for the ferry, literally minutes away. We found it a good, convenient base for exploring Gibsons & Sechelt. We didn't use the little golf course at all as we were only touring the area for 3 days & didn't have time for golf.…
Nice size lots, nice management (lovely lady at the front desk). We arrived almost at closing and she had everything ready for us. It was a breeze. Nice quiet RV park. Clean sites. Highly recommend this place.
This is a great place to camp with your trailer and golf. Each site has trees between sites, fire pits, picnic tables, clubhouse with restaurant and mini convenience store. There is also a small playground for kids to play. Very friendly staff and residents that live on site.
The only positive thing about this place is that it is close to the ferry terminal. We stayed there for one night in June. They put us in a very tight site which took my husband 45 minutes to wedge our trailer in (he is good at this with 35 years experience so that tells you how wrong this site was for the size of our trailer). We had made our reservations 6 months ahead. When we finally got it in the site there was no way we could level it. Meanwhile our friend went to the office and Pat, the manager, said that there was another larger site available, but it was too late. It was too hot and we were too tired to move again. The manager Laurie said that it would be easy for anyone with experience to get the trailer in that site. I was concerned about the fridge being unlevel and he said that I was paranoid. He said it could be up to 6% off level (manufacturer says no more than 3% off for more than 30 minutes). Bottom line: insults and poor planning by the management are intolerable. Will never stay here again.…
An extremely clean and quiet park situated not to far from the ferry in Langdale near Gibsons. The small par 3 golf course is included in your stay, they even lend you clubs. It us a very friendly site the full time residents and staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Wifi is acceptable but they have plans to upgrade soon.
