I stayed here for 5 nights with my autistic daughter. She loved the indoor pool and they're even putting in a jacuzzi! My daughter did have a hard time regulating herself as this was her first trip away from home, but Dennis (the manager) was very compassionate about it. The hotel also has amazing coffee plus muffins/fruit/juice every morning, which is nice and you can enjoy your breakfast at one of the tables by the garden! The garden also has a really nice pond, which is a lovely touch. The AC is really appreciated, especially in the summer, and they do provide swimming pool towels/let kids access swimming toys in a giant chest.

Clean. Newish paint. Linens clean and not tired. Very happy with this hotel. Nice little pool and garden area. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Free coffee and muffins in the morning. Friendly staff. The only down was that view from the window is to a parking lot or the side of a building. Garden is not visible from our room.

Stayed here for 2 nights as my husband was attending a work retreat. Amazing beds, ample parking, nice bedding, very peaceful - great A/C. Excellent complimentary coffee & muffins in the morning which we enjoyed in the shady garden courtyard. Our toddler loved the koi and the spacious pool. Wonderful check-in and check-out experience - staff were great. Meeting room worked out well for team building activities of a moderate sized group. Walking distance to great pubs, stores and restaurants! Highly recommend and we will be back for sure.

We checked in to the Garden Hotel for an unplanned stay on a snowy afternoon rather than drive further in worsening weather. We were pleasantly surprised with what we found. Reception was friendly and accommodating. Our room (309 upstairs) was clean and spacious with two Queen beds. Room temperature was controlled by us. Lots of light both from a window and many light fixtures. Small fridge, microwave, and coffee machine provided. Flatscreen TV. Free wifi. Plenty of hot water. Standard tub with shower; sink in adjacent separate area. New carpet in bedroom area. Quiet, no street noise. Lots of outdoor (uncovered) parking. Restaurants nearby. Short drive into town for more restaurants and shopping. 12 minute drive from Langdale Ferry Terminal. No included breakfast but complementary coffee, juice, muffins, and fruit on offer in the morning for takeaway in the lobby. There is a pool but I did not check it out. This is not a glitzy new hotel but it is a comfortable, clean, affordable, friendly small town hotel and I’d stay here again without hesitation.

Booked one night in a king room and were so impressed with the service and the hotel we would recommend it to all our friends and family. We arrived early for check in and even though it was fully booked and busy, they made an effort to get a room ready for us. While we waited, we were able to visit the pool and when the room was ready the front desk came to us to notify which was appreciated. We settled into our spacious, clean and inviting room and really appreciated the meal table and large lounge chairs. Really happy to have a mini dining space for us and our toddler. We enjoyed the breakfast options (muffins, fruit, coffee, tea) and headed out for the day to explore. After breakfast nearby we received a call from the hotel and they had found my husbands apple earbuds when cleaning the room. We dashed back to pick them up and we were so thankful for the call. What a great hotel, managed and worked by great people. This will now be “our” hotel whenever visiting Gibsons or driving through the Sunshine Coast because they’ve more than won us over. We look forward to the next trip.

My wilfe and I pulled into Gibson's earlier than planned and although our room had not been prepared yet we were offered access to the pool, sauna and the gardens. I was floored by how much I enjoyed the hot sauna and the garden seating. It felt like sitting in the backyard at home! So comfortable and relaxed. The pool area is extremely well ventilated and although the temperature was over 30 degrees outside it was very comfortable and relaxing to just sit by the pool. I had completely forgotten how much I enjoy a hot sauna and had more than a few good sweats in there. Eating breakfast and dinner in the garden gazebo was phenomenal. Gibsons Garden Hotel made our stay incredibly enjoyable. Recommended to anyone who wants a home away from home. Thoroughly pleased!!!

Great place. beautiful gardens. Nice pool. The staff were extremely helpful and made us feel welcome. We had left a place we’d booked in Gibsons because we hated it and we so pleased to find this beautiful oasis. Highly recommend it

We booked one night while on a road trip and we were very happy with the accommodations. We like to book rooms with kitchenettes so we can relax and cook our own meals. Our room was inside facing the very pleasant courtyard. The courtyard has a few tables and chairs, a koi pond, bubbling stream and lots of flowers and other plants. Under the walkway overhang, beside our room, there was another small table and two chairs where guests could sit and enjoy the courtyard out of the rain. Note that not all rooms face the courtyard and it hardly ever rains on the sunshine coast. Our room was quite large and featured a large window looking into the courtyard. In front of the window was a small table and two chairs. This was a treat as many places with kitchenettes don't have a proper place to sit and eat. The kitchenette was small but functional. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean and well kept. This would be a good place to stay for more than one night if visiting the area.

We decided to do the 'Circle Route' from Comox Little River Ferry, through the Sunshine Coast, then from Vancouver to Nanaimo, and back up to the Comox Valley. Since we never drove the Sunshine Coast before, we didn't reserve overnight accommodation thinking there was plenty of hotels...wrong decision! Anyways, as the sun set into darkness, we went on-line and found the Gibson Garden Hotel, and even better was that they offered a 'Last Minute Deal' price, so we reserved a room and continued driving until arrival. Once there, we were warmly greeted by Emily who quickly checked us in and explained how things worked. When we opened our hotel room (3rd Floor Mezzanine) we were very impressed with a large bed and new linen sheets. There was TWO padded comfortable chairs (why do hotels usually give just one chair??) and a table, which was perfect as we enjoyed a late night snack right in our room. The bathroom was large enough, bath products in wall dispensers, and hot water and newer towels. The A/C unit worked very well, the fridge was cold, the TV had plenty of channels, and in the morning the coffee maker did the trick. And best of all, the pool is large, wonderful, warm and very refreshing. For sure I would recommend the Gibson Garden Hotel, and if we do the Sunshine Coast again, we'll pre-book here before leaving home! Cheers, Paul

We only stayed for 1 night , we were greeted by a friendly gentleman at check in which was super fast and easy. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We did not use the pool area as we had other things planned. There are restaurants and some shopping within walking distance. Hotel is Located about 10 minutes from the ferry terminal. I wish we could have stayed longer but we will return and stay here again.
