We stayed one night as a stop over before we headed to Seashelt for our wedding. Our room was amazing. The pool was awesome, we felt like little kids swimming and playing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I stayed here with my husband for two nights during Covid. It's a huge hotel but clearly they have reduced capacity, they also have screens up around the reception and Covid protocols for the swimming pool so we felt safe and comfortable. We didn't use the pool in the end as there were people in there but it looked nice and is indoors. As it was November we also didn't venture into their garden area but it looked lovely with lots of seating which I would definitely use in the warmer months. Our room was standard with a nice comfortable bed, good shower and although the heater can be loud it did the job to heat the room and then we turned it off. Free parking is a bonus and it's in a great spot to jump on the highway and drive further up the coast. A standard but perfectly fine hotel and good value.

Recently stayed 3 nights at the Gibsons Garden Hotel. At first we were considering a AirBnB in the Sechelt area but the good pricing and importantly the pool resulted in us choosing this place. Turned out to be a good decision. The property itself is an atrium or courtyard style hotel that has some funky or quirky design and furniture choices. For a small town property, this is as good as it gets however. Cleanliness and maintenance were impeccable throughout the property. I kept thinking that someone in charge cares about this property very much. All points on the Sunshine Coast were easy access to us. 3 minutes car to Gibson Landing, 20 minutes or less to Sechelt and maybe another 40 minutes to Pender Harbour. All on a nice highway with great scenery. Many food options are easy to get to as well as a variety of shopping. Good - as mentioned the price and the pool. Reservations were handled effeciently and friendly, we got the room we needed. The 3 of us (2 adults and infant) had ample room, king bed, sitting area, small fridge and microwave. From the moment we arrived, the service was friendly and well organized (thanks Rebecca). The pool is just short of glorious. We spent 1 hour each day in the pool which has this beautiful deep blue appearance and crystal clear water. Fairly large with adjancent fitness and dry sauna. Bad - the pool could be warmer. This summer we have been on a quest to spend time in pools with our child. We have visited 4 different hotel pools in the last 4 months. This pool was the coldest of the 4. Not by much but enough to mention. The usual breakfast is on hold due to Covid and we missed easy access to cereal and toast in the morning. Ugly - nothing in this property. You can reserve with confidence. I am sure we will be back to this property. Sunshine Coast is an beautifull 40 minute ferry from Vancouver.

Hi Scott, Thank you so much for sharing your experience about our hotel. Your comment looks very professional and organized. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. I'm sorry that our pool wasn't warm enough for you, I will certainly double-check the boiler and logbook for any possible downtime happened on our boiler. We usually kept the pool temperature 84°F- 86°F. Again thank you for your time to write this positive review for us, we hope to see your family again soon. Dennis Direct Manager

We stayed here last year before covid-19 and had a lovely time finishing off our tour up the Sunshine Coast before we caught the ferry home. I had no hesitation going back at this weird time and must say it is very well done, and the staff are lovely. The pool is open just book at reception for the time you want as they only allow two households at one time. We booked a room with a kitchenette (which has saucepans for the stovetop and plates and bowls and cutlery etc) so could prepare our own food as the breakfast room is closed, was easy to bring back take away etc. It was pleasant and clean, close to amenities, to get food, would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff. Happy our room has a mini-fridge. The heater in the room was the absolute worst- it sounded like a construction zone in the room and we had to turn it off completely while we slept because it was so loud! Otherwise, a comfortable place to stay for a reasonable price. Beautiful outdoor garden area with koi fish and gazebo.
