Don’t judge this book by its cover! The rooms were amazing, and especially for what we paid ($68 all taxes in)! Would stay here again! Big fridge, plates and cutlery, coffee, toaster, microwave, and kettle.

We pulled into the Fort Motel on the way to Calgary. There is a Tesla Supercharger within easy walking distance. We got a unit with two rooms, a bathroom and a small kitchen. This was great for our family on our road trip. The room had not been updated, but it had a lot of space for the price we paid.

Very inexpensive and clean, but a number of drawbacks. The room is small, furniture and fixtures basic and not in better part of town. Also the front desk manager, who was very pleasant gave us the key to a room that was already occupied. Would recommend staying in Lethbridge.

I love the cute units of Fort Motel. A classmate and I shared a two queen room. It had a tiny but full kitchen (stove, microwave, fridge, kettle, pots/pans, utensils) and a living room/dining room with a couch and table with chairs. Our two beds were separated by a wall, giving us some privacy. The beds were comfy, but I could have used another blanket. Will request next time. The furnace heats the main area well, but the bedrooms were a bit cooler, and the furnace is a bit loud. Overall a great deal and a comfy place. The motel is situated in between the highways going east/west and it is a five minute walk to the main strip of restaurants and stores. The manager was very friendly.

Excellent location along street between lanes of Highway #3, friendly manager, efficient Reception, large parking stall. Cozy room, dated fixtures & furnishings, soft bed, small but complete kitchenette area, small TV screen but good channel selections, small shower stall, very poor WiFi service (alternating on/off internet access). 300m from historic downtown area and several good restaurants.

Deceiving from outside- clean and comfortable inside. Bed was similar to fold out cot in frame, but comfortable. Very clean and had small kitchenette with supplies. Great location- walking distance to Fort and downtown.

I was looking for a place that would be close for our touring around of historical sites. This was a great base for us. There wasn’t a lot of highly rated places in the area. Very surprised at how clean and cozy this place is. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I have stayed at more expensive places that were not as clean as this. I will definitely be back.

Nice, CHEAP motel. Was pleasantly surprised. The bloke at the front desk was super friendly and gave some good tips on where to go for dinner. Other than the floors being a bit dusty (given the town is pretty much in a desert, can’t expect too much), the rooms and beds we had were clean and comfortable enough. Air conditioning worked. Would have no issues staying there again for a night or two.

After a long day of driving we arrived late afternoon amid the smoke from nearby and far-flung forest fires and record high temperatures. The manager was kind and friendly and gave us a room with a great A/C. All other aspects of the room were also good with a comfortable bed and more than adequate kitchenette.

An older motel, but the owners have tried hard to renovate and make it nice. It was clean and comfortable and had all the basic amenities. If you are traveling on a budget, it is just fine. A very nice and helpful man was at the desk, offering us advice for dinner plans.
