The pictures of the rooms online looked quite inviting but the reality of staying there was less than a good experience! The bedding/mattress cover was grossly dirty as well as the pillows - these should have been thrown out. Outside the room was a broken toilet that obviously belonged in the dump and was quite an eye sore to see on the way into the room. The bathroom tank run non stop and when I questioned it, the guy came from the front office came and turned off the valve to stop it from running but that didn't allow us to flush the toilet. Overall, this establishment has many things that need to be repaired and was poorly cleaned by the evidence under the bed. I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone else.
The proprietor was quite helpful starting by letting us check in 4 hours early. That being said there was nobody there at the time. Room was clean if small. Not noisy at all. Just a few blocks from grocery store, downtown cafes and the Fort itself. Everything is walkable.
I wish I can rate this less than 1. I had a confirmed booking for July 31/21 made on a 3rd party site. After a day of driving I attended the front desk at the appropriate check-in time & the clerk (id'd himself as Boris) told me that he was sorry I could not honour my booking as he had to extend the stay of people in my room. He said had no other rooms to give me. He said it was his fault. I had to go else where to for the night. I got absolutely nowhere with the OYO Customer Service thru phone calls and emails. This is no way to treat customers. I will never recommend this place, and I hope others please reconsider staying there. If the Hotel Bethel or OYO reads this, please respond and/or contact me.
Stayed here for a couple of nights. Room was perfect setup for us with a kitchenette, separate bedroom and cozy living room. Rooms updated, no carpet. Only thing is the room didn’t have bedding for the Sofa bed. We travel with extra blankets and pillows so we didn’t end up asking for it from management and it was fairly late when we discovered it. Not sure if you have to request the bedding, but I would check into that when checking in, if you plan to use the sofa bed , rather than when you’re going to bed. All in all it was perfect for our needs would stay again if I need to travel to Fort MacLeod.
Staying here for 2.5 month wind farm project. Best spot in town. Excellent rates long or short term . Rooms are very clean and newly renovated. Super quiet . The manager Boris is very flexible and accommodating . Excellent Wifi . Each room has its own . If you’re looking for accommodations in Fort Mcleod. Long or short term. Look no further then the Bethel Motel . Ask for Boris. He hooked me up big time. Cheers .
We were just looking for a place to spend one night as we are passing through the area on the way to Waterton. We found this hotel through Expedia, we came late and the person on the desk was around to greet us. He is friendly and accompanied us to our room. The room is nothing fancy, a little outdated, but clean and serves our purpose. There was a heat wave and we are just happy that the airconditioner did provide the cool we needed for the night.
We stayed in the honeymoon suit, the room was clean and the bathroom had enough toiletries. The bed was very comfortable more comfortable than some 4 stars hotels I`ve stayed in. The manager was friendly and very helpful in the morning when our car had problems starting due to the heavy snow fall the previous night. I will definitely recommend the hotel to friends.
Would stay here again. Motel is older but has been renovated and is clean. Bed was comfortable. Only downside is its next to a highway but it wasnt too loud. Definitely good for the price. Would stay here again!
My husband and I stayed at the Bethel Motel in late July. The manager was kind enough to upgrade us to a spacious room, with a bed as comfortable as our very expensive one at home..but the best thing about the room was both the bathroom and main room had windows that actually opened! What a treat to have a cool, fresh breeze, of real air, blowing in after a hot July day.
I was looking for a less expensive option to stay and hike for 3 days in Waterton. The motel is super clean and comfortable. I was greeted by a very friendly manager and he upgraded my room. I would highly recommend this motel.
