Our stay was in September, but this B&B really deserves a good review. We had an excellent stay with Fay and Kyle! Our room, with private bathroom, was absolutely lovely, decorated with love. There's a small area to sit for coffee and tea as well. Everything was very nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent too, a bit too much, but very tasteful. There are several options: pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, and more. Both Fay and Kyle are very helpful and give you all the information you need about Clearwater and Wells Grey PP. Because the wifi works on satellite, reception is not always guaranteed. The B&B is located outside the town of Clearwater, only a couple of minutes away, with several dining options. The guest rooms are located on the second floor (stairs) and to reach them, you'll have to go through the owner's living room and kitchen. The gate outside is closed until 4 pm to give the owners their privacy. We really loved staying here, wish we had had more time to enjoy the house and garden. Hopefully we can return some day!…
Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast was ok but more choice (cooked options) would be preferred. All the rooms are within the owners property and in a house full of strangers you cannot lock your door when you go out! Don't stay here if you don't intend to go out all day as the gate is locked during the day until 4pm. We didn't meet the husband as he was away but we did meet Fay - boy can she talk! It is in a great location for exploring Wells Gray Provincial Park. Remote location means WiFi is flaky
We stayed there for one night on our journey from Vancouver to Jasper. Faye and Kyle were both lovely hosts. Friendly and welcoming and also knowledgeable about the area and about Jasper having lived in the area for many years. The house is gorgeous - beautifully decorated and was a nice home away from home on our travels. We arrived around 5pm, checked in and then headed to the Hop n Hog (definitely recommend!) for dinner nearby before returning to the house. We left early the next day but not before a delicious breakfast of waffles and French toast with fresh fruit.
Fay was one of the best hosts we met on our 23 day journey through Canada west coast. This is also valid for the BnB itself. The guest rooms are located on the upper floor and are fully integrated as part of the house. The entire interior of the house was really beautifully furnished. On the way to the guest room you went inevitably through it. Our room was very clean and very comfortable equipped and lovingly furnished. A TV is not in the room but who needs on holiday a TV?!? For the breakfast (taken on the families dining table) we had the choise between several options. We decided for pancakes and fruits and we were not hungry until evening. Fay was a very communicative host and she joint our breakfast so that we had very gentle chats with her. The region and the BnB is definitely worth to stay 2 or 3 more days.…
