Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moul Creek Lodge, Marion and Michael were the perfect hosts. The room was fantastic, lots of attention to detail and having the small kitchenette was a real bonus. Breakfasts were great and we would recommend and evening meal as they were some of the nicest we had on the trip. We will miss sitting out in the lovely garden and patio watching the hummingbirds. Wells Gray itself was a fantastic place to visit, loads too see and the waterfalls - amazing. Marion's recommendation of having a meal at the nearby Wells Gray Guest ranch was worth the trip, great meal and enjoyable evening sat in the 'wagons' If we ever visit the area again wouldnt hesitate to book Moul Creek again. Thanks Marion & Michael for a wonderful stay Matt & Yvonne, Accrington, England…
Moul Creek Lodge was the most anticipated stay during our round trip and we haven't been disappointed! The room was quiet big and well equipped with everything you need and expect. The furnishings were selected with an excellent eye for the details and fitted the overall design of the lodge. Even more important was the warm and nice welcome! Marion and Michael were awesome hosts and offered best service. We started with a sumptuous European breakfast and freshly brewed coffee into the day. Thank you very much!
The rooms are spotlessly clean, the house and gardens are beautiful. We had a fabulous three course meal cooked by Michael and Marion. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely to see hummingbirds in the garden. Would definitely recommend staying here.
We stayed for 3 nights at Moul Creek Lodge in the Garnet room. You are surrounded by nature not only because you're in Wells Gray park but also around the lodge with e.g. hummingbirds and even bear. The room itself was super comfy and had everything you need with a little fridge, Tassimo coffee maker etc. Then next morning breakfast, what a treat with a buffet with fresh fruit and egg. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come back soon. Thanks Marion and Michael!
Michael and Marion made us feel so welcome. We felt more like family than visitors. Our long drive from the city was met with quiet, beautiful nature, fabulous breakfasts and comfortable, clean accommodations where we could relax, rejuvenate and interact with the stunning Wells Gray Park. Our room was large with a comfortable king size bed. The meals in the breakfast room were fresh, ample, and well presented. We have travelled many places and this B and B lodging is an example of the highest quality service and pride of ownership. We are so grateful to our hosts. Harold and Monica Isaac, Calgary, Alberta
Amazing service, hospitality, cleanliness, and overall look and feel of the lodge. Marion and Michael were fantastic hosts, what most hosts should aspire to be. Seriously a great role model for many people in the bed and breakfast hosting world! The lodge itself is beautiful, the landscaping and work makes it look like a little paradise in the middle of nowhere. I definitely recommend anyone who is coming to Wells Grey or any area near there to stay at Moul Creek Lodge.
We can truly say that this has been our best B&B experience to date, and we have stayed at many. The lodge and the setting are idyllic, and perfectly situated for quick access to the key highlights of Wells Gray Provincial Park. Our room was very large, well appointed including a comfortable king bed, and immaculately clean. The breakfasts were fantastic and the one dinner we had at the lodge was professional chef quality. We should have booked more meals at the lodge as nothing in town compared. Our hosts and the owners, Michael and Marion, were incredibly kind and gracious, and their knowledge of the local area made our short stay memorable. We left Moul Creel Lodge discussing when would be a good time to return. Bruce and Jamie Porter, Victoria B.C.
We were guests at the wonderful Moul Creek Lodge for 3 nights. The hosts Marion and Michael created a place where you immediately feel at home. The room was spacious, with a personal touch, every detail well thought out and with everything you need. The bed was super comfortable and especially nice for us: with two blankets. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. On the beautiful terrace, dozens of hummingbirds fly around in the evening sun and it is easy to relax there. Marion gave us well-founded tips for exploring the beautiful Wells Gray Park, she knows every hiking trail and every waterfall. The park was not overcrowded in May and we were often all alone. We were able to see several black bears, including one right from our room window. If it were possible, we would give more than 5 stars.…
Just two nights were too short, we need to come back one day. Clearwater is a great environment, the B&B is situated at a nice location in the midst of the forest with a beautiful garden. Both nights we have had a good dinner with the owners. In short: awesome.
Marion and Michael were the perfect hosts for our getaway! Their hospitality and warmth is unforgettable. The story of the lodge is evidence that dreams come true. Their genuine passion to host people in a homey, extremely comfortable and serene place is evident. The hummingbird guests compel all to believe in natures miracles. Michale and Marion provided healthy and delicious meals as requested and were always available for connection and conversation - let’s not forget a cold beer is encouraged too!!! We highly recommend this experience. Truly spectacular! The waterfalls , the bears, the spring waters and wild flowers … the list goes on!
