Leanne greeted us on arrival with a smile and provided lots of helpful tips on what to see and restaurants to visit. Our spacious cabin included fridge, cooking hob, microwave, toaster, dining table and sofa plus a very clean ensuite bathroom. The cabins are located in a forest clearing about 5km from the small town of Clearwater. It proved an excellent value for money base to explore Wells Gray Provincial Park.

We stayed recently with our infant and we cannot speak highly enough of our experience. We stayed in one of the tents and it was everything I hoped it would be. The tents are set up a short distance from the cabins and interconnected by paths covered in cedar chips, beside towering trees wrapped in fairy lights. The whole ambiance was magical. The tent was equipped with a kettle, coffee maker and small fridge. As well coffee and tea and basics like mugs and glasses. There is a small en suite bathroom. As we were travelling with our child we were provided with a pack and play and small comforter. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. Falling asleep to the sound of literal rain on the canvas tents was so relaxing. We truly felt transported to some kind of enchanted forest. There is a covered outdoor shared kitchen area with a bbq, larger fridge and microwave as well all the kitchen utensil basics. We chose to bbq supper the first night and get take out the next. On the grounds of the property are several spots to sit and and relax. There is a fire pit as well. We highly recommend Cedar Haven and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Really loved our 2-night family stay at the Cedar Haven Resort. We went during the 'smog-wave' but being high on a hill surrounded by trees was a real life saver for the senses. The tent was very clean and comfortable and an extra cot was in place for our daughter when we arrived. The shared showers and kitchen were convenient and we never had a problem sharing them with the other families in tents. Paying a little extra for the breakfast is totally worth it. I loved waking up in the morning to fresh sourdough bread, boiled eggs and fruit (apricots and banana). And of course the location is perfect if you are planning on exploring Wells Gray Provincial Park. One small caveat - don't plan on using WIFI much while you are here. It works but is choppy. Then again, you are camping!

The cutest place you could ever imagine, with rustic charm yet all the amenities you need for glamping. Handy shared kitchen in the open air, a brand new sauna and shower house all just steps away. And toilet and sink right off your own tent! Electric blankets on the bed for a cool night, and a coffee station and mini fridge in your tent for fixing up essentials. Beautiful details to decorating and making me feel at home. Friendly and accommodating staff, and contactless check in for those who are concerned. 10/10 on all fronts!

We stayed at Cedar Haven during the extreme heat wave in BC. The website stated the cabin had air conditioning but when we arrived we discovered it did not. There was no compensation for the lack of air conditioning despite it being advertised on their website. This was incredibly disappointing, particularly during a heat wave. If we had known there was no air conditioning, we would have booked elsewhere.

need a car to drive up. There were 4 tents and 2 lodges. Other visitor light up wood fire and sit under the sky. The only complaint is showers are shared and separated from the tent. There are lots of mosquito and sprays are available and that is the main reason I give 4 stars.

Sadly we only stayed there for two nights and we were unsure whether the tents are the right thing accomodation for our honeymoon trip but the owner Meira and her husband have created a perfect place in Clearwater. The Resorts consists of 4 tents and 4(?) cabins, just the right amount so it's not overcrowded and you have your own space. The tents are decorated with love and you immediately feel welcomed. Everything is super clean which is worth mentioning since you are still in a tent. A washroom is directly attached to each tents, showers (underfloor heating!!) are 20m away; dont worry you get the cosiest and softest bathrobes for the walk. Each comfy bed has enough layers of blankets that even at night where it cools down you and your loved one dont feel cold; for the really frosty ones, there's an electric blanket on each side of the bed so you can seperately use it or not. One advise: take the breakfast basket! Coffee/tea is already in your room but the breakfast basket is a must. We really enjoyed the simple yet delicious breakfast in cedar haven (boiled eggs (~4), fresh orange juice, cheese, butter, jam, REAL bread!, milk). You will sit in your tent (or outside on the porch), and have a great start in the day. Other amenities: full outdoor kitchen, huge garden with several seperated and private sitting areas, parking, wifi, forest yoga Thanks Meira for the stay

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and out of the 7 hotels and accommodation we have stopped off in so far this is by far the best. We had the 1 bedroom detached cabin. It is so quiet and peaceful. The cabin is clean and charming with beautiful gardens outside that include benches, chairs, a BBQ, firepit, and porch. It's so quiet here and we're sad we can't stay longer. The host was friendly and gave us some great hints on local walks and dining. We can definitely recommend the painted turtle and hop n hog. Perfect stay.
