Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We stayed in the premium log cabin rooms top floor with a balcony that gave us a fabulous view of the mountains. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean with new carpeting and towels. No a/c but it wasn’t needed as nights are cool and screened windows provided the necessary ventilation. Hosts/Owners were very warm, welcoming and willing to do what they could to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The restaurant wasn’t open yet but we were offered the use of a bbq in the common picnic area and could store our foods in the fridge and freezer in the main building. We happily enjoyed two nights without interruption from cell service. One of our group needed internet access and was able to do that in the main lodge. An absolute highlight of our trip was hiking to the spectacular falls nearby - Helmcken Falls, Dawson Falls and Spahat Falls. We would definitely stay here again.

If you want a place to get away and ‘unplug’, you have found it. Rooms are clean and only offer the essentials. The lodge is quiet, peaceful and located in beautiful Wells Gray Park. There is no fridge, microwave, and tv in he rooms. You have access to a fridge and freezer in the main building and a barbecue in a common picnic area, making preparing and storing food a inconvenient. Internet access is limited and there is no cellular service Owners/management are very friendly and helpful.

Close to Wells Gray Park entrance, and basically in the middle of nowhere lies this little place. It offers rooms in lodge style accommodation, some more motel style rooms and has a RV site too. We stayed in one of the more expensive lodge rooms which we found to be spacious and very comfortable. The decor wasn't to our taste, but it was not tired either and everything was spotlessly clean. We had a small balcony with seating and all the windows and balcony doors were screened (so no issues with mozzies). Parking was conveniently allocated right outside our lodge. We ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay and on both occasions the food was clearly freshly cooked with quality ingredients by a chef who knows what they are doing. A special mention must go to the restaurant waiting staff who were all exceptionally friendly and very efficient. It's a beautiful spot with lovely views, and you can even watch hummingbirds on the feeders as you eat your meal. The only slight downside was that the soundproofing between rooms was not great, but you get that in a lot of places. Don't expect luxurious accommodation, but it is very comfortable, and really quite a special little place to stay. Highly recommended.

The lodge is nice a bit outdated and very simple (you don’t have air conditioning, nights are a bit cold). I think all the rooms faced the view on the mountain and the golf this is breathtaking. We tried the restaurant and as per the guides they were mentioning that the food was not that great and expensive. We were expecting basic and not that good food. We were finally surprised as the food was not that bad. The staff are very nice and friendly. Some of them speak french and English.
