Alpine Meadows Resort is the perfect place to disconnect and reset so you can enjoy every moment of your days. We love nature and this place showcased the natural beauty of central BC. For us, 2 nights was not long enough. The resort is pristine and includes a large dock for everyone to enjoy swimming in a clean freshwater lake, kayaks, fishing boats, and paddle boards. We especially enjoyed the large hot tub, that was crystal clear and the perfect temperature and had a full view of the Alpine Mountains and Hallamore Lake. The log homes are amazing - I’d love to live in one permanently. The friendly hosts were there to answer any of our questions and gave us some great tips on exploring Clearwater. It was the perfect way to end our summer. We are already planning our trip back to Alpine Meadows Resort for 2022, with only one change - we will be extending our stay next year. Thank you, Wolfie & Tracey.…
We stopped here for 1 night en route to Jasper, and regretted that we didn't spend a few days here. The location is beautiful, the accommodation is large and has a kitchen area, small terrace, and lovely views. There is also a launderette for use by guests, great for those of us travelling light. The lake is lovely, and the restaurant is good for breakfast and dinner.
For us this was a one night stop on our way east with the RV. We booked it a bit on a whim because this isn't really a campground, but it appealed to us! And I'm really glad we did! The dirt road is a bit of an adventure with an RV, and it does take a while to get there. There's a spot on the resort for campers, with nice pull-through sites. The sites have grass lawns in between them, so you have a nice place to sit outside. Not every site has a picknick bench however. There are coin operated showers, but we didn't use those. It is a lovely resort, with loads of greenery and great amenities. There's free kayaks you can use to paddle on the lake, and an amazing hot tub. We were very grateful to rest our aching legs here. The staff are also wonderful! I wholeheartedly recommend!
Fantastic location . Peaceful & quiet . Beautiful views across the lake . Free canoes to use along with a hot tub. You need to book for dinner. Which was ok but very limited menu & expensive for what you got ! Breakfast was ok but nothing special . No self service cereal, fruit & yogurt. Either have cereal or a cooked breakfast! Shame it said -‘no substitutions ‘ ! When we left - no thanks for staying, enjoy the rest of your trip....... shame !
We were recommended AMR by our travel agent as an overnight stopover hotel en route to Whistler. What a shame! Once you arrive the resort is amazing. Our room was a very modern villa with spacious rooms, good sized bathroom and a balcony that opened up in front of a beautiful lake. The restaurant/bar was a short stroll where you could get good food and a drink at very reasonable prices. AMR is surrounded by woods and wildlife. Unfortunately we didn’t get long enough to stay and explore all it had to offer but if the chance arises to visit again then we would certainly stay here for longer.
