Hotel staff were great, the only complaint was the bed, it is time for an upgrade. The room was clean and tidy, bed looked great but you could feel the springs in the bed. It was an accessible room which means the bathroom had a larger than normal shower stall. would have been great to have a bathtub instead or as well but that is just me.

Positives: 1. Kenny the check in staff was great. Showed the room to me before I booked and did the check in. 2. Quiet, clean hallway and lobby. 3. Easy parking 4. Convenient location with a grocery store called Save on Foods next door and restaurants nearby. 5. Provided welcome gifts. 6. The room was stocked with plenty of toilet paper (two full rolls), and two boxes of Kleenex.
Negatives: 1) a small hair found on the lip of the toilet cover, you wouldn't see it until you put the lid down. While it’s not in a noticeable place, but still is unclean. When the housekeeping cleans, looking around the corners including hidden spots to ensure they are all clean is essential in the hospitality industry. That’s what sets a great hotel apart from an average/mediocre hotel. 2) the facial wipe seemed to be old, must have been there for many days as the plastic wrap surfaced felt very dirty, kind of gross. It’s not noticeable, but again, it s a quick and easy check for housekeeping.
Had this hotel did a better job in cleaning for the above two items, this would have been a 5 out of 5 rating.
Additional info: 1. This place is better than the Holiday Inn & Suite in Yorkton, because their driveway was full of potholes. 2. Days Inn is located in a more modern area of the city and more convenient to restaurants, grocery, and gas.
Overall, still good hotel. Would recommend. 4 out of 5.

Breakfast was great with eggs, bacon, sausage and other continental selectins- attendant was very friendly and focused on keeping areas clean and all items and selections topped up
Kids enjoyed waterslide and pools and the automatic pancake machine
Accessible room was excellent. Loved the shower setup, sink and the toilet access bars.
Overall felt service was great from all staff - loved the 24 hour coffee in lobby and the cookies
Will definitely return. We enjoyed it more than 2 other hotels we have previously used in Yorkton

NO BATHTUB! it seems that CAA mistakenly booked a ‘handicap’ room for us. I asked the front desk for a room with a BATHTUB. They advised that a room with a BATHTUB would cost an additional $40. Go figure??!!

I apologize that your reservation was not as you expected. You say that CAA booked you into one of our accessible room and you are correct it only comes with a roll in shower and no bath tub. Our standard rooms with a bathtub are the same price as these rooms, however it looks as if none of those room types would of been available and the next room type with a tub would of been one of our Family Suites. If you say it was only $40.00 more then the front desk agent would of been discounting the suite for your stay. I hope you will give us another chance and I would suggest you book directly with the hotel in order for your reservation to be correct.

This hotel was not clean at all. The stairway was very dirty and the coffee was disgusting. The morning breakfast was minimum requirements and tables were never cleaned off when people left. The only thing good was it was close to a mall and winners and good restaurants

I am very surprised that you found our property to be not clean at all. We receive numerous comment s on the cleanliness of our property and how great and friendly our staff are. I am unable to see what days you stayed with us in order for me to investigate as to why the stairway was dirty. On very busy days all my staff do their best to keep up with mopping the lobby and vacuuming the stairways and hallways, however there maybe times in between when they are not in the cleanest they can be. I would like you to reach out to me in order for me to see where we dropped the ball in your opinion. It is only through feedback, both positive and negative that we can improve.

We (a couple with an 11-year old) stayed here for four nights in a suite paying $181 per night or $201 with taxes. I originally had booked a room with two beds but upgraded to the suite on checking in as we were planning to spend a lot of time in the hotel.
We loved the pool. Due to COVID restrictions, the staff had to let us into the pool area but that was no issue. Our daughter loved the slides and spent many hours in the main pool as well. The hot tub was closed due to COVID.
The suite itself was not upscale but certainly adequate for our needs. We did not ask for cleaning while we were there and obtained fresh towels from the front desk. The wifi connection was quite good.
The breakfast was typical Days Inn with a pancake maker, packaged muffins, and packaged cereals, milk and juices. The coffee machine was always available.
The hotel does not have a restaurant but is in walking distance of several fast food restaurants, a steakhouse (Mr. Mike’s), and the Parkland Mall which has a restaurant. We ate at all of the mentioned over the four days.
Overall, this was a good stay and would be our choice in the future if we stay in Yorkton again.

We were quite pleased with the hotel. Because we were travelling during the Covid pandemic we weren't sure if the amenities we count on when we stay at a hotel would be there. They were there. The breakfast we count on to keep in budget was there and we were happy with the selection. In fact my husband wants a pancake maker similar to the one the hotel had making our pancakes. We were pleased.

We didn't receive the rooms that I phoned in and booked a month in advance. The rooms were noisy. We have 2 special needs kids so I booked 2 adjoining rooms for my family but they gave us 2 non adjoining rooms on 2 separate floors!! So we spent $650 for a ruined vacation!!

The room, the staff, and amenities were way beyond expectations. When we arrived, a noisy kids' pool party was in swing, just off the lobby, but had zero effect on us in our very quiet room, & was over before dark.
I noticed the mini-fridge didn't seem to be working, and within 10 minutes of my call to the young woman front desk (who couldn't've been more accommodating), Lee from maintenance showed up with one that did work, & swiftly made the change.
The breakfast room was immaculate, with a surprisingly wide variety of food, including eggs & bacon, fresh fruit, activia, pastries, waffles, etc Great value, great stay.

Stay there on business over $200 for a stay at a Days Inn, which is about 60-80 more than I generally pay. First impression was the parking lot was dirty, garbage and needed to be swept. Young lady at the front rack for check in was great. Room was dark and not that clean, chip bags behind the night stand, stains on the wall by the toilet and mold in the shower. Breakfast was ok, and gentleman at the front desk was quick but didn’t ask how the stay was. Morning Manager was on the front phone throwing one of his staff under the bus with a customer. That’s not team building, but 5 minutes later he was standing 5’ from the front doors smoking with another staffer and they both butted out on the ground, no pride at all on where they work.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. I am truly upset with the way your room was and I assure you I expect all the rooms to be cleaned thoroughly and all calking to be in top shape. I will be bringing this up with my housekeeping and maintenance staff. The way you were treated upon checkout is truly unacceptable and my staff are not to smoke in front of the hotel, we have a smoking area in the back for them. I am at a loss on who this morning manager may be as myself nor any of my supervisors smoke.
