We stayed at the Crystal Mountain Hotels on the night of August 26th. The room was quite small with a queen sized bed. The room was clean and cozy though, and there were no bad odors or any negatives. The bedding was quite comfortable. My only complaint, really, is that they close the Gondola at 6:30pm so we could not...

I had a one night stay at the Alpine Inn on 8/17/16. I really liked my little room - reminded me of my college dorm. It was perfect for one night after several nights of camping and sleeping in a tent. The grounds themselves were very pretty with hanging flower pots. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Only two disappointments...

We had an updated room that was very neat and clean. Friendly staff. Our room included breakfast at the Alpine Inn restaurant. We also ate supper there. The food was very good and the service was excellent.

We stayed in one full size bed and two bunk beds room. It was the smallest room I ever stayed. The bunk beds are much shorter than regular twin size bed and I could see 1 foot of my kid's legs sticking out. There's tiny bath room with a shower. Building itself was old and the smell of old building...

Best Pet Friendly value on mountain! These rooms are very limited and compared to the other options, the price for lodging at the Village Inn is great. Upon check in on March 11th 2016 for some March Madness Pow , we found the spacious room furnished with a very comfy and thick Queen Bed, mini fridge & coffee maker. The...

Face it--housing at ski areas is not cheap, but I found Alpine Inn charming and comfortable. Bonus is that a restaurant, and a bar, are attached (though you have to go outside to get into them). The hotel was built in the 1960s and has lots of photos, etc., reminiscent of an earlier era. Some rooms have shared baths, but...

My friend and I stayed in a 6 person family room. We had one other friend stay with us one night of the 3 we were there and it was just barely big enough. However, we had been told this is a bare bones old school vintage 1960s ski lodge with no amenities and that's what we expected and got....

My stay at the Alpine inn was an excellent time. For the avid skier, the functionality of a ski inn/ski out hotel is indispensable. The convenience of their mudroom with areas to lock your ski's is also nice. The rooms can be described as Spartan and small but that is the trade off for being able to sleep on the...

stayed in a tiny double room that was perfect for one (or 2) people. nice hot shower; room was nice and toasty warm (not all ski chalets can say this). Dinner was wonderful-- authentic goulash and red cabbage. Actually, I would just LOVE the recipe for that red cabbage. Also, you get to park right by the lodge which is...

In short: friendly people, but the 70s called, and they want their decor/infrastructure/ambiance back.... Location can't be beat, of course, but how I wish it had better atmosphere. It strives to harken to the Bavarian Alps, but it smells funny, the heat either works at full blast or not at all, and it just isn't.... Very comfortable. To be fair,...
