Hof i Vatnsdal was our stay for one night. The environment is really beautiful. Very calm, if you look for a break, this is the place to stay. Rooms are very clean, more puristic stile, not overdecorated ;-). This is a working farm, so no fancy Things. But a very nice outside Jacuzzi. We had dinner and they served a...

I don't understand the positive reviews of this place. Kilometres of gravel road to get there, very small, bare rooms, a 'seating area' which is two kitchen chairs against the wall, barely space to open the suitcases, thin little towels a little bigger than hand towels, no blackout blinds, cobwebs, very poor wifi etc etc. We saw no evidence of...

We thought this would be hard to find, but it is not - there are 2 Rt 722, take the north one, paved for a bit, then gravel. Lovely road down a valley replete with sheep and horses and farms following a river. The family who runs Hof were so nice and showed us their horses in a barn up...

One of our favourite places we stayed in whilst traveling around Iceland. The farm is about 20 minutes off the Ring Road. It was a great place to unwind after travelling and my daughter loved playing with the friendly dog and we enjoyed using the hot tub. Great large sociable lounge and dining area and well equipped kitchen which we...

Have stayed there few times before. It's located in rural Iceland in a beautiful valley and many interesting options are around. If you are ready for a real vacation in one of the best places in Iceland this is the right place for you!

This farm is tucked away down a long, gravel road some distance off the Ring Road, but it is worth the long drive as it really is gorgeously pretty. We were pleasantly welcomed by a young German woman, managing the guesthouse in her long vacation between school and University. Very friendly and cheerful, but clearly not trained in the technical...

I thought I booked me, my husband, and a friend of ours at the Hof on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, but I actually booked us at this Hof instead. After some minor changes to our driving plans, we made the journey here. The guesthouse is in the middle of nowhere - 16km off the main road down a gravel road surrounded...
