I had a pleasant quiet nite stay at the motel July 20 2022 , the owners were very accommodating, it’s in a good central location to leave from which being on a motorcycle came in handy. The bed was quite comfortable as well as the a/c worked well and was quiet. Staying here reminded me of growing up at my grandmas has that was in the country . The interior is worn but quite comfy and relaxing . There is a 500 head cow farm next door so sitting outside you will get a whiff once in a while but it didn’t bother me any. I told the owner I would be leaving before breakfast was provided and he gave me a bag of biscuits and muffins, he had stated he was a master baker and used only good ingredients, they were a great snack. The owner even made me a cup of coffee when I went looking during the day, you don’t get this level of being taken care of normally. The only downside was there was no coffee maker in the room otherwise I would have gave a 5 , but this was not a total disappointment. I would stay again for sure.

When we arrived I asked about the breakfast, specially coffee. They told me, very apologetically, that due to Covid they were not serving breakfast but would be more than happy to fix me a coffee. I said no, that that wasn't necessary. She insisted and asked me what time I would like it to be ready. I still tried to say no, but gave in and said 8:30am. Sure enough, both mornings my friend and I were there came a knock on the door with a fresh cup of coffee made just the way I like it!
The room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Really clean motel room with excellent mattress and pillows. Good water pressure and lots of hot water in the shower. Quiet area but easy driving distance to Fundy NP and Hopewell rocks. Room had a small refrigerator and microwave. Good continental breakfast with toast, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal and muffins available. Hosts were gracious and welcoming. Excellent choice for a reasonably priced room. A nice touch would be a hair dryer in the room.

We stayed two nights and were surprised at how old the room was. I do not think it had been updated since the 1970s. No place to put things in the bathroom - no hooks to hang clothes when you are in shower! The owners were extremely nice and friendly. They brought breakfast to our room both mornings. Unfortunately, our second night we were invaded by large, flying ants (carpenter ants). We killed about 20 or more. Since it was late we did not alert owners until next morning. They were apologetic and put some sort of repellent on floor. I'm sure ants were in the walls eating the wood. While we liked that the room was clean (otherwise) and owners so friendly, we won't stay again in case of more insects.

This was a great, nice, clean little motel to kick back for a few days. The place is clean, the owners are courteous and always checking in, and it's in a wonderful setting just outside Sussex. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Davis and Sarah were SO welcoming - staying up late to ensure our arrival and making us homemade waffles in the morning! A super-reasonable price, too. Very rarely do hotels go that extra mile like the Pine Cone!

We stayed at the Pine Cone Motel this weekend as we were in town for a bonspiel and the price was excellent ($65 a night). We were pleasantly surprised with our stay, and will certainly return again in the future.

First of all, the owners are two of the absolutely kindest folks you will ever meet! They go out of their way to provide excellent customer service, and take a genuine interest in their guests. Each time we saw them on the grounds, they quickly inquired about our tournament and cheered us on.

Second, a continental breakfast was included, which was a very pleasant surprise. $65 a night for four adults, plus a free breakfast that includes homemade blueberry waffles? Sold!

Third, the room was serviceable and had all of the amenities that were needed. Yes, it was a smaller room with some dated features, but it was cozy, warm and quiet! If you are looking for a comfortable stay at a great value, then I highly recommend this motel!

We look forward to returning to the Pine Cone Motel, and would recommend it to anyone staying in the Sussex region!

The place looks like an old side-of-the-highway motel, but when you walk into the office, the owners are so personal and friendly, you feel as if you are in a bed and breakfast. The rooms, while basic, are spotless; the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. It's a five-minute drive to Sussex, where there are many food options, and it's around 30-40 minutes from Fundy National Park. The wifi was on and off, but it was a rainy night so this was probably because a lot of people where hunkering down.

We stayed at the pinecone motel for two night recently. Room was very clean and the owner was very kind. They told me they are new owners from October this year. I must mention that their home made muffins for breakfast was the best muffins I've ever had. If I visit Sussex I will stay at the Pinecone motel again.
