We travelled late into the night and were quite happy to find a hotel that had availability at a reasonable price. Easy to see the hotel from the highway. Take exit 193. Our GPS did not recognise the coordinates of the hotel. The room was adequate and contained a mini-fridge and clothes cupboard. Breakfast is served in the diner located next door and the included breakfast served is a specific full breakfast but with no substitution allowed otherwise there is a cost.
This is our 17th year for staying at the Fairway for the flea market. We find all the staff to be excellent both in the motel and the restaurant. This year due to me adding a day at the last minute for the Studebaker meeting we ended up in 244 which is the worst room. My wife read the part that said if not happy with your room advise the office at once. I told her there was nothing they could do as it was flea market weekend. However as a woman will she nagged until I went to the office. I told the girls I realized there was nothing they could do on account of the market. However they said they would try and got us an excellent room. My only complaint is the strange menu for liver. Every restaurant we go to in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick serves liver with potatoes, vegetables…
The Room was Clean & Comfortable I was a little dated but the price was right If a I am in the area again I would probably stay here Check in was easy and having a Restaurant on the same location made it easy after a long trip.
The motel is old and not well kept. The restaurant is very popular with the locals. The breakfast was good. Dinner was just ok. They have a washer and dryer at good prices. The room was very worn. Not so good. We stayed because it was raining and we were on motorcycles and it was the only place with availability.
Look...dont expect the westin and you wil be fine. Clean hotel with clean rooms....huge pool...huge hot tub....breakfast at the restaurant included....nice staff....yes a little dated...ac units are noisey but all in all a good place to stay and eat. Restaurant has alchohol too...so if u want a beer with dinner...you dont have to leave.
Clean motel, with very friendly staff. The pet-friendly rooms, unfortunately, were the un-renovated ones on the far side of the motel, so they still felt like a throwback to the 1970's. Good location if you're just travelling through, as it's minutes from the highway. The free breakfast, in the attached diner, was very good.
Although a bit dated, this was a great deal. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, clean refreshing pool/hot tub, fast WiFi and free breakfast at the attached diner. Only negative was hearing doors close early am. We were on the first floor, so a reviewers suggestion of quieter second may have helped. We kept ac on fan to drown out noises...
Stayed for 1 night. It is an older motel and I was expecting a lot more. It is a motel with 2 stories. Stayed on the bottom floor but could hear the people upstairs walking about. It was clean but it is an older motel. The receptionist was really friendly. Breakfast was great. I would look for another hotel the next time but I would stay here if nothing available in the area.
We stayed there this past weekend. Check in was friendly. The room was spotless. The firm bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled fresh. The room was quiet. Breakfast was free and delicious. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that there was no shuttle to the Backroad Ball like the other two local hotels offered. Other than that, perfect.
we are staying at the Fairview right now. in town for my daughter's swim meet. the Inn's staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and even accommodated an early check in. We had supper in the restaurant and it was very good, appropriately priced, served fast and hot. pur waitress was excellent and helpful, and even called our room when our children forgot their expensive water bottles at the diner. The room was dated, but very clean and very comfortable beds. Our room has a mini fridge and microwave, which is very appreciated. The children enjoyed the pool and wished we had more time here. the only downfall so far is that our across the hall neighbors are allowing their children to run up and down the halls making all kinds of noise, and keeping their room door open so we…
