Great front desk service- gave me a couple bottles of water and a pair of cookies. Room was well laid out and clean. TV was fine and I was able to access all channels easily. Would definitely stay there again. The area was accessible by transit and the bathtub had plenty of hot water

We had a big group stay at comfort inn surrey for a wedding. It was a pleasant stay for about a week. The room service, maintenance and front desk were respectful of our needs and on several occasions provided special attention to our needs. Our group favorite were the breakfast crew. Xuyen, Gagan and Ismael made sure the breakfast items were adequately stocked and were very polite to our large group. The rooms annd overall facility was clean and carpets were cleaned frequently. Plenty of parking, almost no noise and Tim Horton and Pub restaurant right next door for easy grabs.

Spacious room. Comfortable beds. Very clean and kept tidy everyday (multiple-days stay), very good housekeeping. Iron / iron board, coffee machine / fridge available in the room. Breakfast is good, fresh and available from 6:30 to 9:30. Big breakfast room also good for groups. Nearby eating facilities: Tim Hortons and a pub. Small food/beverage and utility corner for emergency shopping (see photo). To reach Vancouver downtown, plan 90 minutes each way. Bus stop conveniently located about 100m away (Fraser Highway 166th street) in both directions, zone 3. As of October 2023 a one way to downtown lasts 90 minutes from the first tapping and costs 6.20cad, a day pass 11.00cad. To reach downtown: take bus 502 to King George Station, change onto metro Expo Line (blue line) to reach eg Waterfront or Burrard or Granville. There is no ticket vending machine at the bus stop. You might pay by credit card on the bus. However, to avoid being charged extra for the trip to King George (which is actually already included in the fare for 3 zones), you might wish to advise the driver and he/she will tell you to buy the day pass at a vending machine at King George Station upon arrival there. If you have a Compass Card, the system will automatically recognize the whole trip everytime you tap and you will not be charged extra, but if you have a European credit card as in my case, the system does not seem to honour the 3 zones fare (despite told by the driver otherwise, I seem to have been charged separately, payment still pending, not yet sure if payment will be rectified later). To reach the airport by public transport, the trip would take significantly longer as you would need to change at Waterfront (end of blue line). Check photo for the metro map.

Think twice on staying at the Comfort Inn in Surrey. Bad experience. Never again The front desk service was very good but the rest was terrible. We booked a room for a romantic get away which cost us $340.00, with a hot tub but it did not work properly. We went down to the front desk to get a couple of ice creams and they charged us $17.00. At one point the elevators weren't working. The bed was hard and uncomfortable the pillows were terrible. They did not supply us with enough towels. They ruined our romantic getaway.

Stayed here before years ago, and that experience wasn't great, but since it been such a long time, I thought I'd give them another try as the reviews looked good in general.
Checking in and checking out front desk staff was friendly and attentive and recognized my Diamond tier status right away. The cookies they have at check-in we're pretty tasty.
The property while nothing to write home about, was clean and well kept, and felt safe overall. Parking spots were super narrow, so if you have a bigger car space maybe hard to come by on either side.
Lobby and common areas and hallways all looked clean and up-to-date didn't notice any issues at all.
Room was clean, and well kept. But the room did have two problems, 1. the bed was hard as a rock, and not very comfortable at all to me. I found the sofa bed (hide a bed) to be more comfortable than the king size regular bed 2. The light fixtures had a mixture of soft White, daylight bulbs making the room look off based on the light coloring.
Breakfast had a good selection of the normal fare you'd find out a Comfort Inn cereal oatmeal fruit pastries etc. Warm food included eggs and potatoes, but the eggs were obviously powdered eggs and we're basically inedible I took one bite and couldn't stomach anymore, the potatoes were cold and rubbery, but at least they were edible and were actually real potatoes. Maybe they should have whoever prepares the cookies, be in charge of making breakfast, as the cookies were far superior to anything we had for breakfast there.
I ended up with a better breakfast from Tim Hortons next door, while quite a bit less healthy, but at least it was actually hot and real food and had palatable coffee.
Overall the hotel looks nice, and maybe suitable for some, for me it was only good for one night, but I probably won't return.

If you don't need multiple amenities, this is a great place to stay. Comfort inn is a small hotel with 4 floors, an exercise room, and a free breakfast with a good selection of foods. (It was very popular while we were there). It ends at 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM on weekends. We'll Definity stay again if visiting the area. It is adjacent to a community recreational center which has EV charging stations. There are also 2 places to eat virtually next door. This is a quiet location. The eating places are the Baseline Pub and Tim Hortons. The Pub has exceptional foods and is a lively local haunt. Tim Hortons is a fast food chain with very good fare. The plus and the downside ls location. It's about 10 miles southeast of Vancouver, to my western US mind, about a 5 to 10 minute ride. It is a densely populated area which even by Canada 1 (Canada's interstate) makes the journey to Stanley Park about one hour. We were amazed by the courteousness and friendliness of the Hotel Staff, especially Ishmael, who manages the breakfast. He was the Belgium waffle specialist. You can tell the establishment is well run by the attitude of all the staff. Hope you won't let the overall lack of stars (lack of amenities) keep you away. Bed very comfortable, a good selection of pillow preferences also availed. Lastly FREE PARKING -- Other places point you to a parking lot or charge up to $40 Canadian per day.

The staff is very helpful and you can buy drinks and snacks at the reception. In the room it has a coffee machine and a refrigerator. Wi-Fi works very well. The breakfast buffet is good and you can also bake yourself fresh waffles. The staff is very diligent and it is constantly replenished.

Some of the most genuin and friendly staff iv ever stayed with. They really care about making your stay feel like home. Xuyen at the breakfast bar works very hard and makes you feel like family. Peter at the front desk is always very welcoming and makes your day every time you see him

I've stayed at this hotel about 12 times over the last 5 years. I always keep coming back.
The location is outstanding. It's easy to get around all areas of greater Vancouver. The community center next door is an excellent facility with a great pool. The bar/restaurant next door is top notch and is handy to go for a bite to eat or a drink.
What sets this hotel apart is the great customer service headlined by my man Peter.
I stay at around 30-50 hotels a year and the only person I remember is Peter.
I'm not alone. I've met people at the hotel or restaurant that know Peter and speak highly of his dedication to his job.
His friendly demeanor punctuated by his "Hey neighbour" whenever you cross paths with him coming in and out are always appreciated.
Looking forward to my next stay!

We have stayed for one night in late April 2023--two adults and a 6-year old. We just needed a place to spend one night on our round trip from Seattle back home to Victoria, but were pleasantly surprised by this affordable hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. They have everything you need. Easy free parking in front of the hotel. The free breakfast was completely adequate. The only tiny wrinkle is that the breakfast room is not big enough for a hotel of this size, so going there early or late would be a good strategy. Food gets replenished until the very last minute. We will definitely be back.
