The staff is extremely rude, mainly older lady at front desk, yes clean, very minimal amenities, I paid for 2 days, the second day the staff and housekeeping staff we calling and knocking on my room door at noon, pushing us out the door, when I paid to stay until 200 pm, I do not recommend staying in the establishment.

There is no chain on the door, and no sign to hang outside asking for privacy. The first morning, before 9am, house keeping just opened the door to come in, without knocking. Very rude. Very irritating. No apologies. The motel is very basic. The offered soap and shampoo are of the lowest of the lowest quality. And the airco is extremely loud. And the price is just high. I give this motel one star, as the price performance ratio is just wrong. Way overpriced.

There is no chain on the door, or security bar. There is also no Do Not Disturb sign. So having arrived tired and choosing to sleep in the next morning we did not know who was knocking on the door. I said ....Hello? No one answered. Housekeeping was unlocking the door and entering. I screamed because I was dressing. The front desk was not concerned about this issue.

One of the worst hotel to check in. We booked 3 rooms for 5 nights based on online rating. Hotel is just a cheap road side motel. Staff are rude, no basis amenities and we had nightmare staying 5 nights. Bathroom are very congested .. funny you have to go inside the bathroom in dark to turn on light and there no space to enter. No coffee machine, no kettle and room smells.

I highly recommend the George Point Inn, located around the corner from Surrey Memorial Hospital and walking distance to the train station. It was recently remodeled so the accommodations are very nice. We booked a two-bedroom/one-bathroom suite (Room 110) on the ground floor with a kitchen (full-sized fridge, stove, microwave, hot water kettle, coffeemaker, toaster, silverware, plates, cups, glasses, and cookware). The living room has a loveseat, a tv, three chairs, and a kitchen table that fits 3. The beds are comfortable, both closets come with hangers, and there is a multi-hook coat rack by the door. Parking is free and we were always able to get a space just steps from our room. There are vending machines and a washer and dryer on-site and the front desk is open 24/7. Room 110 is located toward the rear of the motel, so there was very little noise from busy King George Blvd. The cost was very reasonable and there are discounted rates for stays longer than 6 days. The bathroom has a tub/shower instead of a walk-in shower and that can be challenging for mobility-challenged guests. It can also get noisy when people go up and down the stairs and the walls are thin enough that loud talkers from other rooms can sometimes be overheard. Room 110 is recommended for one adult and two children or two adults. Any more than that and it could feel overcrowded.

We had a good experience with this hotel. Apparently, this motel has undergone a remodel and we found our room to be clean and comfortable. We paid $130 out the door for one night. Staff was friendly and helpful and held a room for me without a CC. We would not hesitate to stay again.

I arrived late after being held up by storms, flight delays. Duncan welcomed me at the front desk, he was friendly and engaging. My room was a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen and separate bedroom. The motel is older but I could see that care had been taken in the cleaning. Thank you Duncan for a refuge after a long tiring journey!!

I have never written a review for a hotel/ motel, but after my experience, I wanted to make sure others know to steer clear of this place. I travel a bit, and I have never come across such an old, dirty room. First of all, the front desk acted like they didn't even want to bother with us. We were shown to our room and I thought they accidentally sent us to a room that had not been cleaned yet. It smelled heavily of smoke, and was dirty. We asked if we could have another room and explained why, they did not seem to care. We were shown to another room which was sprayed with air freshener. I was in shock; let's just say I hesitated to touch anything. The walls had dents and marks all over them. All of the furniture looked like it was from a garage sale. The couch was dirty and old.The dining table had food crumbs still on it and dried food on the table legs and chairs - I kid you not.By now I wanted to check everything.Inside of the oven had old food dried to the bottom and crumbs in it, the sink was not clean and underneath it was dirty. The bathroom had hair on the toilet and it had not been cleaned - dirty floor, toilet had ring in it.We checked the beds- an oily smear in one room on bedside table, mattresses very cheap and very thin sheets with old bedding - not even done nicely. Air conditioner not working with a crazy buildup of dirt/dust on it. The worse ( if you can get worse) was the door lock had obviously been broken into numerous times as the wood around it was chiseled off. Being a woman, on top of the disgusting room, this is a huge safety concern . We grabbed our bags and went straight to the front office for a refund, which once we told them why.,they did give us. When I talked to friends later they explained what the motel was known for, I had no idea. Please, if you are looking for a safe, clean place to stay, look elsewhere.

Like most of the motels along King George Hwy this is a very motel. Probably built in the 50s and 60s it’s minimal - comfortable bed, table and chairs, TV with good selection of channels, phone and WiFi. Bath is a bit dated. Clean except I noticed some mold around the tiles of the tub/shower. It is what it is.
