'Jump to the Pump' service from Roberta and the entire staff!
+We would like to say thank you once more to the amazing staff at the Hampton Hilton in Surrey. It all started when we arrived a bit early for check-in and Roberta told us not to feel stressed...they would either find us a room or hold our luggage for a few hours until it was ready for us.
+The pool is small, but clean. Water slide is 'fast,' kids would love it.
+Room was clean. Beds & pillows were okay. Housekeeping will come if you text or phone the front desk. Roberta and the rest of the staff are in constant communication, checking in on your needs. She even texts you to see if anything is needed.
+Breakfast - one of the better included breakfasts out there. The staff were constantly refilling everything & cleaning up. Clean and organized.
+Would be better if they had a safe in the room rather than at the front desk. This would be our only negative.
+We will be back in the future & won't bother checking out any other hotel. Glad that we found this little gem.

I travel A LOT and I feel like customer service is a dying art. This hotel was fantastic from before I got there until I left. My room was moved to one at the back because another reviewer had said it was quieter. I would like to comment that the train is on the back so it is also noisy like the front but what can you do. The hotel has a chat function which allows you to communicate your needs with the front desk. They constantly checked on me to see if I needed anything. Also, I asked for room service daily (which is why I stay in a hotel and not an Airbnb) and I actually got it every day! This also doesn’t happen very often anymore. Great job training staff!! The pool is lovely (a bit cold) and the hotel is aging but the employees still make it a gem. I wish they had a better restaurant attached to the hotel because the fox and the fiddle is more like a bar and the food is terrible. Other than that, fantastic stay!

Had stayed in this hotel before the pandemic and liked it. I had business in the lower mainland and chose to stay here again, 3 nights. Was not disappointed.
The hotel is well maintained except for an elevator that was out of service the entire time. I opted for a single king bed with sofa bed; the room was comfortable, well provisioned and clean. The bed was a little soft for my taste. Breakfast is included and includes one hot egg, meat, and potato option each, a self made waffle station, both hot and cold cereal station, breads & pasties with toasters, and beverages. If you need to leave early, a bagged breakfast can be requested.
Will stay again.
My one suggestion would be, if you like to sleep in a darker room, or with the window open, chose a room on the back. Lights from the car dealership across the road are bright and on all night, and Langley Bypass is a busy road even at 3 AM.

We have stayed in many hotels before and this one was sadly the worst in a long time and very disappointing. We specifically searched for a pet friendly hotel as our disabled neurodiverse daughter has a small hypoallergenic emotional support dog. This hotel was advertised as pet friendly. But the very officious receptionist informed us that the pet fee was $100 even though we were only staying for one night. Considering the cost of the hotel with GST was $300 per night, we felt this to be exorbitant and overpriced. This is much higher than other hotels that typically charge a $20 or $25 pet fee. We had to drive our daughter and her dog to stay overnight with a friend instead as a result. The officious receptionist was most unhelpful and argumentative and certainly showed no compassion for families with children with disabilities.
Added to that, the hotel is situated on an extremely busy road and from 4am we were woken by trucks and motor vehicles thundering down the road outside, some with loud rumbling air brakes. Also the pillows are oversized puffy ones so much so that you cannot use them to sleep on without cricking your neck. My husband had to sleep on folded bath towels as they were so uncomfortable.
Overall I would not recommend this hotel and we will not be returning!

During my transition to a new house, I found myself staying here for several days. Despite some limitations, the hotel staff truly excelled in their service, always friendly and attentive to my needs. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. The rooms were not only clean and spacious but also incredibly comfortable. As a solo female traveler, I felt a strong sense of safety here.

I became a member of the Hilton Honors program after my stay at this hotel, as it provided a wonderful introduction to the quality and care associated with Hilton. Although I have encountered some disappointing experiences with the Hilton brand since then, the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Langley-Surrey remains a standout. In fact, it is likely the best Hilton hotel I have ever experienced, even after staying at many others. I often reminisce about my time there, and even when I visit Curio Collections and other more upscale Hilton properties, I find myself comparing those experiences to this one. This hotel which truly stands out, especially for budget travellers.

----
SPARK NOTES:

Rooms: The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean.

Safety: Very safe when rooming alone. Never had any issues or hiccups.

Walkability: It is fairly easy to walk around, but I would suggest taking a quick Lyft ride to reach the mall, restaurants, and shops. Walking may not be the best option due to the heavy traffic and the fact that the area is primarily industrial.

I live in the Greater Vancouver area and like taking my grandchildren (8 and 5) for a local "staycation". In the winter an indoor pool and waterslide is a must. I have recently stayed in all three Fraser Valley hotels that have a pool and waterslide. This is by far the nicest of the three. Overall the hotel is well located and well appointed and will be even nicer once the current renovations are completed. It is close to Fort Langley and the zoo, both great for kids. The breakfast is very nice and kid friendly (strawberries, whip cream and sundae syrup for the waffles). The pool room is kept warm and the slide is awesome. All in all, a great getaway a short drive from Vancouver.

"An excellent hotel, overall. Check-in quick and very friendly and accommodating. Recognized DIAMOND status and was informed I had been upgraded, the staff at the Hampton Inn Langley are way above my expectations, I don't Remember the names but Chinese and Indian guy with turban are friendly, professional and a way exceed my expectations. that's why I can see They keep winning awards for service.
Breakfast is okay but understandable due to COVID-19. Not happy but no Complain as everything was informed at Check-in so wasn't expecting allot, Rooms are spotless, rooms are fairly big, location is good and love the swimming pool and the waterslide.
Housekeeping entrance was restricted but available when we requested, requested extra amenties and Nimi (south Indian Girl) very accommodating and make it available at the same time .

For my future stay you are the first preference. Thank you :)

We three stayed in July 2021. Check in was super-friendly, polite and professional. The hotel exterior entrance was very well kept. The room with two double beds was excellent. All fittings were well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning unit worked very well. The provided desk lamp had power outlets. The TV worked fine.

The hotel recently started providing hot breakfast. It was excellent. There's not a lot of seating; you could take your food to your room if desired. There was a good variety of hot and cold food options.

Checkout was seamless.

On check in we were offered a room in the front (possible traffic noise) or the back (possible train noise). We took a front room. While the hotel fronts on a 4 lane road, traffic noise was pretty much non-existant, so feel OK with a room "at the front".

Overall we highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in or near Langley.

Overall stay was great. Just a couple of things to point out... I wish they could have a better shower head. A hot water kettle in the room. We stayed for three nights. The cleaning staff were a bit slow cleaning the rooms, I took the towels out myself and put in into the laundry basket. If I could find their garbage bin, I would have emptied my own garbage too.

The hotel staff at the front desk was amazing to us and always offering assistance. The support staff as well, would check in with us to make sure everything was satisfactory with our room. The meal plan was okay for breakfast, but it was always prepared and came at no additional cost. It was a great stay and we would do so again if back that direction.

I can only answer from my own experience. I am a member of the Hilton Honors program. As such there is no deposit required and you only pay at the end of your stay thou they will swipe a credit card at the start of your stay unless you have one on file. Hilton Honors gives you several other benefits as well. So even if you don't plan on staying at Hilton property several nights a year, its worth becoming a member. The hotel's website states payment is accepted in Canadian Dollar, or American Express, Carte Blanche, Diner's Club, Discover, MasterCard or Visa credit cards.
