This is relatively newer property compared to other hotels nearby. The rooms were clean and updated. There were plenty of charging ports to charge multiple devices at the same time. Wi-fi was fast enough to do business or work from hotel. Comfortable beds. Friendly and polite front desk staff. Plenty of parking.
From our arrival at 7pm there were up to 12 guys drinking on an outdoor patio just outside our 2nd floor room. This continued until after midnight. We were tired from a long day of travel. We could hear them yelling , talking and laughing. I’m pretty sure that they don’t have a license to have liquor there. Those same people would then walk by our room and since the soundproofing is very poor, and they were talking quite loudly, it was like they were in our room. The reception lady is very pleasant, parking is plentiful, and the wifi is free and works well. All the positives cannot overcome the inconsiderate disturbance they were allowing to take place. If you have to stay here, ask for a room that faces away from the back patio where the smokers and drinkers hang out. I booked to Hotels.com and replied to an email asking how the check-in went. I responded with my concerns about the noise which was supposed to be forwarded to management. Nobody ever contacted me.…
I didn't expect this hotel to be as nice as it was. It was recently remodeled. The staff was very friendly. Even though our room was facing the highway, we were able to sleep without any issues. Very quiet area compared to other places in Surrey and Langley. We'll for sure be staying here again.
We were fortunate to find this property after the original hotel we booked gave away our handicap room. The staff was accommodating, understanding and extremely helpful. The rooms were clean, and the complimentary breakfast was perfect. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a safe, clean place to stay. The staff ALL deserve kudos from the front desk, to the maids and the lovely ladies making breakfast. Top notch property.
I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Surrey, Langley, and Mission. This hotel is in a good location, right off the highway, but still quiet. The room I had was very clean and comfortable. The bed provided a good night sleep. The TV worked well and there was a fridge and microwave in the room. The breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. Some decent options for a free breakfast. The location is good, as it's just down the road from the shopping mall, plus lots of restaurants and gas stations nearby. I'd like to specifically mention Amanda at the front desk. She was very friendly and helpful. A real asset to the hotel. I had some free time and she suggested I visit the gardens at Bear Creek Park, which were beautiful and a nice way to spent a couple hours. The rest of the staff was good as well. The only negative I can mention is that I found the cost was a bit high for a Holiday Inn Express. Other than the cost, I would absolutely stay here again.…
The staff as soon as I arrived weren’t friendly nor did they greet me. The entire hotel stunk of cow manure the room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or covid sanitized. I was really upset about how I was treated and how the room wasn’t cleaned. I am a veteran and i have stayed in some wonderful holiday inns before but this one was utterly terrible. I had a very long flight and just wanted to get a key to my room as soon as possible Mandarin that couldn’t happen Do not waist your time. Or money And they do not have handicap parking. I am an amputee and I had to walk with my bags from the far end of the parking lot to get to the lobby
Nice hotel. Still under renovation but didn't interfere with stay. Being careful with Covid precautions including masks and separate bagged breakfasts. Very convenient location, close to highway and restaurants are a 5-10 minute drive. Had to request an iron due to Covid but had it for the duration of the stay.
Stayed here for a week while visiting friends and everything was great. The complimentary daily breakfast was delicious and a great way to stay our day. They are remodeling but you wouldn't know it as everything was clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly and provided advise on where to go and what to see (thanks Lance). We will definately stay here again
We stopped at Holiday Inn Express in Surrey towards end of road trip around Western Canada. It is just off the main highway heading back into Vancouver. The hotel is currently undergoing major room renovations, taking place between 9am and 5pm. There was no noise outside of these hours. Despite the work, we had no disruption. The room was clean, with comfortable beds. The shower was great, and there was a good tv selection of tv channels. The breakfast was great, with the staff being very attentive. I would definitely recommend.
We stayed one night at the HIE--Surrey. First, the good: the room was quiet. However, there were several things amiss. When we arrived, the receipt from the prior guest was still under the door. The bathroom fan was on. The sheer curtains stained and in need of cleaning. On the carpeted floor, there were several very small, sparkly glasslike crystals scattered throughout. Given that, I wonder if housekeeping did little more than swap out the towels and replace the shampoo. Certainly, the had not vacuumed. Breakfast was the typical unexciting selection as well. All in all, if you have other options you might want to consider them.
