Great place to stay. We were in the building next to the main lodge with a beautiful big bedroom and bathroom. We didn’t use the kitchen on the main floor but it had everything you would need. We payed for the breakfast the first morning and it was well worth it with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and sausages and buckwheat pancakes. Margit the owner turned us on to a great eating spot called The Pony which was a short walk away as is the rest of the town. Amazingly good food. Managed to spend a few hours walking around Whistler which is a short drive away. Needless to say it was great to get back to Pemberton.

This establishment is outstanding. We were made so welcome upon arrival and our room and balcony were exquisitely decorated as was the en-suite bath and shower room. The home cooked breakfast was delicious. The owner was helpful directing us to a local establishment for evening meal. The view from the hotel was quite breathtaking. We only stayed for one night but if we ever return to the area we would definitely return.

Had a family reunion of sorts there recently. Beautiful, quiet, well kept house with a fantastic view. Hot tub was a nice addition. Margit was a very gracious host, making a delicious breakfast Furtado for us as well as other tasty baked loafs. They did not last long with our group! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others. Thanks again Margit. Regards, Lopez/Ocean/Elmes families

Margit welcomed us on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable. The kitchenette was very well equipped and included an assortment of herbs, spices and culinaries which were very useful. There were even frozen plastic mugs in the freezer to keep the wine cool whilst in the hot tub! We enjoyed the amazing views of Mount Currie and the valley below from the patio and hot tub. Margit is a great host and provides wonderful 3 course breakfasts suitable for all diets. She has a lovely house with loads of interesting artefacts and special little touches which make it feel homely. Thank you Margit. We loved our stay and would highly recommend your place.

Lovely stay. Margit welcomed me in and I immediately felt at home. She had the fridge stocked with a few drinks, which was a great tough. She showed me to the room, and made sure I knew how to work everything, and where everything was, which was nice. With COVID, I wasn’t sure what to expect for breakfast. Margit had a large bowl of cereal, some pastry, nuts and some juice in the fridge when I got up. It was so nice to have everything ready for me, so I didn't need to wait in the morning. Each wing is kind of separate, so this would be perfect if you want to come with extended family. So many little touches, like luggage racks, and entryway and double doors in the rooms and the decor made this stay over the top. If I’m in the area, I will definitely be back.

I had ended up here last minute because of a mistake in my AirBnb booking. Margit was extremely accommodating when I showed up unannounced and made me feel incredibly welcome. It was a very pleasant surprise to have such an amazing experience despite the situation. I stayed for several nights to go skiing at Whistler and explore the area. Margit was extremely helpful in providing tips for how to get to Whistler, where to park and even which runs to ski. She also provided numerous suggestions on nearby hikes and restaurants. The entire place was completely spotless and very comfortable. The rooms were elaborately decorated and had nice details including painted murals. The Inn had free parking and wi-fi available. The breakfast was amazing and freshly made every day with different styles of eggs, bagels, toast, fruit and cereal available. Margit was good at accommodating for food restrictions and tailoring the breakfast to the individual. Overall would highly recommend and would definitely visit again in the future!…

Margit spoiled us with her hospitality! We have traveled around the world and have stayed in some of the nicest 5 star resorts. We have enjoy a few nice Bead and Breakfast Inns as well. This experience at the Greenwood Country Inn tops them all! Now we know why her beautiful, charming, heart warming and comfortable rooms get such great reviews and awards. She is extremely dedicated to every detail. What she has accomplished here is testimony to her hard work, devotion and love for what she does. We stayed 9 knights in early June 2019 for our 10 year wedding anniversary of 6/6/2009. We stayed 3 nights in the Dream Suite and the last 6 nights in the Lovebird Suite which has the bathtub with a fabulous window view fit for a Queen. My Wife Dawn was the Queen! Actually she is always my Queen! Both rooms were very nice with fantastic window and balcony views of Pemberton Valley down below. We love the quaint and slower paced community of the friendly Farmers and First Nation People. Nice short drive from Whistler too. Margit went above beyond to accommodate us in every way. She made us a fantastic and healthy breakfast every morning. Margit also gave us great suggestions and maps for exploring this area which is a hikers and nature lovers paradise. We love you Margit and I was sad that I did not get a chance to say goodbye. I owe you a big hug! We will be back!…

After driving through the Whistler area we decided to look for something much less crowded, with a local feel. Greenwood Country Inn was exactly what we were looking for. Margit made the stay a five star experience. She welcomed us upon our arrival and made us feel at home. Our loft room was comfortable and quiet. In the morning we were delighted by a delicious three course breakfast served on the patio overlooking the valley. Would definitely return if we ever have the opportunity.

We spent the first night of our holiday at Greenwood Country Inn in Pemberton. The family suite worked perfectly for our party of four. It had everything we needed. Innkeeper Margit was very helpful with recommendations for dinner and had phoned ahead to make sure the Golf club restaurant was open. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and we enjoyed it on the deck outside with a great view. We enjoyed the wonderful hospitality at Greenwood Country Inn and hope to be back.
