We came down to elope and Heidi helped us find a really great local place to get married. It was so beautiful and was just a short walk from our place! It was like a magical getaway. Heidi was so nice, welcoming and helpful. I'm really grateful to her. Our room was really modern and romantic with a great King... More

The location was beautiful and the hot tub was lovely. Overall the room was quite nice. A good selection of DVDs and books available, and there was homemade jam, granola, fruit, and milk in the room, which was a very nice touch. (But no hot breakfast provided because it was off season.) It was a bit overpriced for what we... More

Two rooms of your choice, modern, clean and well maintained. Didn't get a chance to meet the host, Heidi but she was nice to leave us a note and she responds to emails pretty fast. Snug Cove has lots of quirky shops; antique, thrift, pubs, super-mart and restaurants. **Only set back is the drive there, dusty, bumpy road, lots of... More

Beautiful and peaceful location, room was well appointed and spacious - had everything we needed and was fairly private. Hot-tub was awesome too. Enjoyed walking to and around the lake and into the cove from our place. Heidi was a lovely host - very responsive and helpful. She was also a great cook - the breakfasts were AMAZING! Not your... Stayed 2 nights in June. Was more than we could have hoped for! Super relaxing, scrumptious breakfasts and super hosts!! Appreciated the fact that we could have breakfast on our own in our own room. Beautiful, soothing scenery and super quiet. A great place to unwind and get away from all the busy-ness of life. A beautiful walk around Killlarney... More

Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay here. I am sorry about the hot water situation. We have switched over to a Solar Powered method of heating our domestic and in floor heating hot water in an attempt to be more environmentally friendly and have run into a few hiccups along the way. The issue... More

Once in while you stumble on a place that is close to paradise where the surroundings are spectacular, the space is welcoming and very comfortable, the foods is sumptuous and the hospitality is excellent. And oh so quiet and peaceful. Bowen Island Hideaway B&B is such a place. Heidi and David are wonderful hosts. The perfect hideaway.

My friend and I visited the Hideaway for two nights. Suite: it was comfortable enough - great bed with comfy sheets. Pretty small bar fridge, so don't bring too much. The bathroom is spa-like but the down side was it didn't have a shower and when we turned on the tub faucet, both the faucet and shower head ran...so much... More

If you're feeling stressed out, this is the place to come. There's nothing more soothing than listening to a symphony of crickets and frogs in the late evening. Do not attempt to drive your Porsche here (not that we tried). Enjoy a deer coming up to your patio. Savour a gourmet breakfast.

“we were there to relax and stay unplugged!! wifi is availabe but that was of no interest to us. there are two suites which are equally perfect. Stylish, clean, thoughtful...non toxic body products, lovely linens, bath robes, the floor layout and furniture pieces were perfect. Concrete slab heated floors, upgraded plumbing fixtures. A perfect hideaway getaway! Good rates. Great people))”

“Drive slowly after you turn into fernie road. There are few potholes like Heidi have mentioned in her website. I drive a regular VW sedan and did not have any problem reaching to the place (I drove at ~20km/h).”
